  1. There have always been the doubters (amaleik) and there will be (now more than ever) until the arrival of Moshiach Tzdkeinu. Afraid the doubters learn the hard way. This era is extremely difficult to accept; never have I seen and felt such G-Dlessness as now and what hurts, I see this 'doubt' even in some frumme yidden. nili

    Watch: Israel prepares for tsunami

The last major tsunami in the Mediterranean Sea was over 800 years ago, but that doesn't mean Israelis shouldn't be prepared for one.

Arutz Sheva was on hand as emergency personnel participated on Monday in a drill simulating a tsunami wave, meant to raise public awareness and practice appropriate and effective responses in the event that a tsunami hits Israel’s Mediterranean coastline.

Dubbed “Nachshol Kachol” (Blue Tidal Wave), the exercise included evacuating citizens from the beaches of Ashdod and Ashkelon to safe gathering points in accordance with the tsunami warning signs.

  4. People just have to put two and two together. Started a # of years ago when in the US, they started these public ads for people to prepare and stock up on essentials and also to make up with family members where and how to meet in cases of emergencies. Thought how peculiar and the only rational answer was they were preparing for something (or making something happen) and now we read that Israel is doing the same. They mimic everything (51st state?). Something is up! H' protect us all.

  5. Well here's a message to the autistics, in case they're reading all these blogs: Daniel et al., what are disabled people, such as those with MS, CP, wheelchair-bound, and those in severe pain from Sjogrens & various degenerative disease supposed to do when horror strikes? Shall we be DOUBLY penalized?

    1. I do not believe that they read blogs.

How are you managing now??? If Hashem is taking care of you now, why do you doubt that He will continue to do so no matter what the future brings? This is exactly what the autistic kids are telling us to improve - our emunah that ALL is in the hands of HKB"H and it is to HIM that we must learn to turn and trust with our lives and our livelihoods and our health and well-being.

The whole point of this thing is that there is nothing any of us can do but trust and have faith in the ONE Above. Many who have 'prepared' physically won't make it and many who can't, but who have prepared spiritually will. ONLY HASHEM will decide who lives and who dies - just like He does all the time without our being so aware of it.

    1. Except that what I left off the cartoon was the title: The Day Before the Flood Began.

Can't you see the ark is finished and ready to go?

    2. I really can't know that. The world seems poised for collapse no doubt. But all the - it's a matter of weeks talk - seems a bit much.

Side note i was reading a commentary on mishnah shivis which seems to say that motzei shivis refers to the whole year. So the fact that one of the autistics had the temple coming down from the sky motzei shi'vis isn't butel yet since there's still 6 months to go.
