THE LION'S ROAR

28 Adar Bet 5782

Granted there are many among us identifying as Jews who have risen to power in this country and who have more sympathy and mercy for the cruel enemy than they do for their brothers, but it must also be understood that the foreign master is also in the background telling our leaders what they may and may not do.  For all we know, they might be turning the terror spigot on and off at will as either 'incentive' or 'pay-back' (carrot and stick) in order to bend us to their will.

We can choose to reject this evil any time by turning whole-heartedly to our Father in Heaven.

A preliminary investigation showed that Bnei Brak terrorist Dia Hamarsha entered Israel through a breach in the security fence in the northern Shomron, through which thousands of illegal workers enter Israel every day, and continued to do so on Wednesday morning, hours after the attack.

Yossi Dagan, the head of the Shomron Regional Council, has been warning senior members of the defense establishment about the breaches in the security fence for years.

Just three months ago, during the shiva for Yehudah Dimentman, z’l, who was murdered by Palestinians in a shooting attack in the Shomron, Dagan met Deputy Defense Minister Alon Schuster near the separation fence to show him the breaches in the fence, warning him of the danger of illegal workers entering Israel.

Considering Schuster’s comments after the terror attack in Be’er Sheva that “we have to remember that the Bedouins have been discriminated against for years,” it’s no wonder that he didn’t take action.

Ynet reported that the day after the attack, footage from security cameras near Hamarsha’s hometown of Ya’bad shows illegal Palestinian workers on Wednesday morning continuing to enter Israel via breaches in the security fence.

...Elazar Roth, a resident of the nearby yishuv of Tal Menashe, said: “Every morning, from pre-dawn hours until 7 a.m., dozens of vehicles pull up to pick up Palestinians that cross the security fence illegally.”

“What we see is a lack of governance, active abandonment. It’s not that the security forces don’t know and don’t see – they simply decided to leave it this way. We need to deal with this phenomenon.”

However, note that so far only the attack in Bnei Braq was perpetrated by an Arab who entered illegally.  The rest have been committed by those in Israel "legally" - Israeli Arabs.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken draws equivalency between Jewish and Arab acts of terror, i.e. Jewish building and Arab murdering.

Western Medicine's Evolution

28 Adar Bet 5782

Greed has conquered every other consideration.  Know that they mean every aspect of medicine from here on out to be nano- and gene-based...

[Excerpt]  "... we learned ... that the toxicity associated with the mRNA tech that’s being deployed globally right now, it’s not just due to the spike protein … but it’s also due to the underlying components.” A former Sanofi executive, Gary Nabel, told Nature that mRNA may be a “tool that offers some upside potential” but the “big stumbling block is safety.” The lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) that encapsulate mRNA so that it can successfully enter cells have been shown to be highly inflammatory in a study by researchers from Thomas Jefferson University and published on Cell Press (pdf).

Unlike other vaccines, influenza shots are administered yearly, yet offer generally lower protection than most routinely recommended vaccines, from as low as 10 percent to as high as 60 percent. This season’s flu jab was only 16 percent effective, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Scientists had hoped to develop a universal flu vaccine that could fight against many strains of the flu and be given every five or 10 years, eliminating the need for annual shots. They said it could take eight to 10 years for the universal flu vaccine to be available, but over a decade later, the research did not bear fruit.

Now, major pharmaceuticals are hoping to change the shot’s underwhelming protection and the current flu manufacturing process with the messenger RNA (mRNA) technology platform.

If the companies are able to succeed in this, the “new flu jabs could prove lucrative or help maintain standing in a global market projected to exceed US$10 billion by decade’s end,” according to an article published in Nature.

Dr. Robert Malone, who helped invent the mRNA vaccine technology, said that flu shots are a “significant commercial market in the United States” that is annually recommended to “drive a market need so that the manufacturing plants can be kept running and certified” in the possibility that an outbreak similar to the 1918 influenza pandemic should occur.

“The government wants to be able to ensure that they always have enough influenza capacity in case the bad thing happens,” Malone told The Epoch Times. “So the way they do that is they create market incentives for manufacturers to produce seasonal influenza vaccines, even though we don’t really need them.”

Chevlei Mashiach Becoming Unbearable

27 Adar Bet 5782

Does it seem like I'm ignoring the newest wave of terror unleashed across Eretz Yisrael?  I assure you, I'm not ignoring it.  I'm what you call "processing" it, as all the other terror attacks come rushing back to mind in all their gory details.  It stays with you forever.

Ten minutes have passed since I finished the previous paragraph.  I've been trying to decide where to start to enumerate the attacks still fresh in my memory even after 25 years, but I can't do it.  I could probably talk about it, but I can't write about it.  That's all I have to say right now on this subject.

America: The Only Country in the World Ever to Drop a Nuke in Someone Else's Backyard

25 Adar Bet 5782

Since the whole fiasco in Ukraine started, the US has never let up for a moment pressuring and threatening Israel with great animosity over its "failure" to follow lockstep with US' actions vis a vis Ukraine and Russia.

Congress rebukes Israel for reluctant stance on Ukraine war

For the past two weeks, the Israeli political echelon has been working to prevent a major crisis with American supporters of Israel, following severe criticism by senior officials of Jerusalem's reluctant policy on the Ukraine war, which Israel Hayom learned, has even reached Republican lawmakers known for their support of the Jewish state.

Among them is Lindsey Graham, a veteran supporter of Israel and only congressman who openly criticized Jerusalem's almost neutral stance on Russia's aggression. Many also objected to Israel's policy behind closed doors, due to the country's refusal to join sanctions against Russia, a move they view as conciliating with its aggression.

Israel was also rebuked by Senator Ted Cruz, Minority Leader of the US House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy, and others. The criticism was leveled at Jerusalem in closed-door talks between senators, congressmen, and advisers as well as pro-Israel elements operating at Capitol Hill.

Israeli officials held a number of talks with senior members of Congress and the Senate in an effort to mediate the conflict and prevent it from being publicized. Israel Hayom learned that one such conversation lasted about an hour.

During these talks, the Israeli officials explained the considerations that led Israel to take a more reserved stance on the war, stressed the importance of Israel's freedom of action in Syria, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's efforts to mediate between Kyiv and Moscow, and the fact that Israel has no sanction laws.

A senior adviser in Washington told Israel Hayom that the explanations led to a greater understanding of Jerusalem's position and prevented the criticism from getting out. Nevertheless, he said, according to Washington officials, there remain significant gaps between the way the war is perceived in the US and the way it is viewed in Israel. These gaps contribute to profound differences in the US and Israel's reactions to Russia.

A pro-Israeli congressman told Israel Hayom, "the feeling in the US is that the third world war has broken out, that the most horrible thing has happened, and that [Russian President Vladimir Putin] is almost a Nazi."

He stressed that the feeling prevailed across the entire US political spectrum. "In such an unprecedented state of emergency, both parties expected Israel, as well as other US allies, to take an unequivocal stance on Russia. The same senior officials do not understand how it is possible that Israel is not unequivocally adopting the West's policy, including imposing sanctions."

Another US source said that Congress now understands Israel's position, and therefore, there is no public criticism. And yet, "Even though they understand, they don't understand. An uncomfortable feeling prevails given Israel's approach at such a dramatic time in history," he said.

I mean, how dare we uppity Jews think for ourselves and act in our own best interests!!  And we're not even talking about establishing a real Jewish State based on Torah Law with a rebuilt Beit HaMikdash!!

"...Putin is almost a Nazi."  That's the official US narrative now, but what was Lindsey Graham - so, so critical of Israel - saying in Ukraine 6 years ago??!!  I mean, who really started all this anyway?  Oh, America with the lily-white hands and oh-so justified outrage, how your guilt will find you out!!  The Master of the Universe is not fooled!

The Secretary of the notoriously and historically anti-Jewish US State Department was here yesterday continuing the pile-on, but rather than Ukraine/Russia, the issue was that old dead horse - a 'Palestinian' State.
Blinken Attacks ‘Settler Violence,’ No Mention of Pre-Ramadan Terror Attacks
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Sunday at a joint briefing with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett that he and the prime minister discussed ways to “prevent actions on all sides that could raise tensions.”

The statement came just a few hours before two Arab terrorists killed two Israeli police officers and critically wounded four more in a shooting attack that took place Sunday evening in Hadera, and 5 days after the terror attack in Be’er Sheva that left 4 Israelis dead and 2 more wounded.“Israelis and Palestinians deserve to enjoy equal measures of freedom, security, opportunity, and dignity,” Blinken told reporters in Jerusalem, adding that’s “one of the principal reasons we support a negotiated two-state solution.”

The Secretary’s definition of actions to be “prevented” that “raise tensions,” included a list of no no’s mostly for Israel, with two items tossed in for action by the Palestinian Authority, probably to maintain the guise of moral equivalency.

Neither of those two items for the Palestinian Authority, however, was discussed or even mentioned publicly following Blinken’s late-day meeting in Ramallah with Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas. In fact, Blinken issued no statement at all after leaving Ramallah, nor did he address reporters at a joint news conference.

Those Jewish terrorists and their quaint shacks built on uninhabited hilltops are such a provocation!!  Or is it that all Jews anywhere in Eretz Yisrael are an unbearable provocation.  Intolerable!!

And above all, we mustn't allow the Jews and the Arabs to disrupt Easter celebrations!!!

Arab Terror - Birth Pangs of Mashiach?
by Rabbi Ephraim Sprecher, Dean of Students, Diaspora Yeshiva

The Talmud Sanhedrin states that before the arrival of Mashiach, we will experience a period of pain and suffering called the CHEVLEI Mashiach. Literally, this means the birth pangs of Mashiach. It is an interesting choice of words. We understand that the prelude to Mashiach will be painful, a time of war and world-wide terrorism, but why the metaphor of birth pangs?

On a simple level, we can say that this metaphor is meant to describe the pattern of the Messianic tribulations. When a woman goes into labor, the contractions are light, few and far between. The pain is not so severe yet. But then, as the birth comes closer, the contractions become more painful, and they start coming with greater frequency and lasting much longer. As the labor goes into its final stages, the contractions start to come minutes apart, and they are long, and extremely painful. And then, when it seems that the pain would be unbearable, the child is born.

In the same way, the birth pangs of Mashiach become more frequent, more intense, and more painful as we reach the final phase. And then, when it seems that anymore pain would be unbearable, Mashiach will arrive, and our troubles will be over. This is perhaps what we are experiencing today. The pain and suffering of Arab terror are more frequent, more intense, and more painful. Perhaps we are in the final phase of the birth of Mashiach. The proof is in the painful birth pangs of world-wide terrorism.

The Maharal offers a Kabbalistic insight into the metaphor of the birth pangs of Mashiach. A child growing in the mother's womb is living in a world of his own, that bears no resemblance to the outside world. His life processes, his eating and drinking are all controlled by his umbilical cord connected to his mother. His perceptions and sensations are all controlled by the dark, limited world of the womb.

And then he is born, and he emerges into a world that is completely different from anything he has experienced in the womb. Everything is new. Everything is different. It is a new and wonderful existence. In the same way, says the Maharal, the arrival of Mashiach will be like the birth of a child. We will emerge from our troubled world, with all its perceptions, attitudes and problems, into a new world that is completely different from anything we have ever known. The arrival of Mashiach will not just bring major new changes. It will bring us, like new born babies, into a brave and wonderful new world, without troubles.

An Unjustified Accusation of "Fear"

18 Adar Bet 5782

The whole world is already at war and has been for quite some time, as I pointed out yesterday regarding the culture war inside Israel. This is the final war led by Gog of Magog. It exists on every level and in all spheres of life. When you can identify who is waging this war, the war against HKB"H, you will know then who Gog is.

There is a psychological aspect to this war, which is the worst because it is hard for most people to understand that there is, in fact, a war on for their minds. One of the silliest and most childish accusations that can be thrown at a person is "oh, you're afraid." They say you have taken a negative stance out of fear - as in the ever popular "homophobic." Oddly, it's effective. No one wants to be viewed as cowardly, fearful, ignorant and backwards, so that's how they paint you if you disagree with them, that is those who are pushing these agendas. "They" have been learning how to manipulate people for decades if not for centuries and this is a very popular tactic. That's why the word "fear" leaped out at me when I saw this headline...
Unlikely allies gather to address polarization and break down barriers of fear between major faiths

Several current and former ambassadors joined hundreds of representative leaders from the three Abrahamic faiths, including well-known Muslim imams, Jewish rabbis and Evangelical pastors to gather together in Dallas, TX and Kansas City, Missouri this week for the Global Faith Forum hosted by the Multi-Faith Neighbors Network.

Themed “Unlikely,” co-founders and co-hosts, Pastor Bob Roberts and Imam Mohamad Magid, noted the events were designed to cultivate multi-faith relationships and guide the next generation to a more inclusive future.

“This type of gathering has never happened before, especially in the heart of the Bible Belt, but we believe it will be the starting point for change,” said Roberts, who served as program host and convener at Northwood Church in the Dallas suburb of Keller. “Historically, Evangelicals have not been in this conversation. When Jesus said, ‘Blessed are the Peacemakers,’ that doesn’t mean just in our group; He was talking about the public square. Our hope and prayer are this Forum will open dialogue, build relationships and facilitate understanding, peace and unity.”

The night began with songs and prayers from each faith, followed by an address from the newly appointed US Ambassador for International Religious Freedom, Ambassador Rashad Hussain.

“Oftentimes, faith leaders are more effective in doing this work than the government,” Hussain said. “You bring the credibility of knowing your congregations. The most powerful way to build bridges is collaboration between government and civil society.”

H.E. Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL), introduced and gave an overview of the groundbreaking Makkah Declaration, which was conceived and created by the MWL in 2019.

Written by a consensus of more than 1,200 respected Muslim scholars, affirmed by over 5,000 Muslim theologians and approved by Islamic leaders of 139 nations, the Charter of Makkah is considered the most important document of modern Islamic history. It encourages peaceful co-existence and ensures religious diversity and human rights for all people.

“The Charter is much more than just a document; it is a roadmap for how we can reconcile our differences, advance peaceful co-existence and create deep and lasting mutual respect,” His Excellency Al-Issa said. “We are stronger when we are together, and we are unbeatable when we stand united and resolved to cultivate lasting friendships and understanding regardless of race, ethnicity, faith, gender or creed.

“From my travels, I’ve learned that whether I am meeting an evangelical leader or a Jewish person, we share many of the same values,” Al-Issa added. “We have all witnessed the discrimination that many in our communities face, and we also share a commitment to a world where intolerance and injustice has no place in our society. We are fostering a more inclusive and equal world, where no forms of prejudice or bias exists.

“This agreement represents our values-based approach to educate the next generation of leaders and place an importance on teaching them how to engage in constructive dialogue,” Al-Issa concluded. “It sets a new course for the future of humanity and ensures lasting peace and prosperity for all.”

Following Al-Issa’s comments, six leaders responded including Rabbi David Saperstein, former ambassador of International Religious Freedom and co-founder of Multi-Faith Neighbors Network; Ambassador Sam Brownback, former ambassador of International Religious Freedom; Walter Kim, president of the National Evangelical Association; Zeenat Rahman, director of the University of Chicago Institute of Politics; Christine Caine, author and founder of Propel Women and The A21 Campaign; and Ambassador David Beasley, executive director of US World Food Programme and winner of the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize.

Many of the leaders spoke about the importance of working together to solve global issues that go beyond religion from human trafficking to world hunger.

Another key participant included Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker, who experienced proof of concept of the importance of multi-faith relationships and the religious responsibility that comes with religious freedom in the midst of crisis and tragedy. When he and several congregants were held hostage by a Palestinian gunman at nearby Congregation Beth Israel in January, Pastor Bob Roberts joined another local imam and rabbi to work with hostage negotiators and support and care for family members of the hostages.

“We could have experienced no love and no support, but our community and world showed up,” Rabbi Cytron-Walker said. “Building relationships is the foundation to understanding the dignity and beauty of our lives.”

“We have to move from isolation to collaboration, based on covenant,” Roberts said, emphasizing that multi-faith means not having to compromise their theology or identity. “The work of God is more important than our platform. What we need are legitimate, God-fearing, moral, prophetic religious leaders, focused on building meaningful bridges with one another.”

At The Church of the Resurrection in Kansas City on March 9, host Pastor Adam Hamilton said, “Many of us don’t know members of other faiths, and we fear people who are different from ourselves. For Christians, it starts with loving our neighbor, whom Jesus defined as ‘someone different from you.’

“We don’t have to agree on everything to say to one another, ‘We are fellow human beings and my faith enables me to love you,’” Hamilton added. “Many times, when I engage in a conversation with a person of another faith, I come away a better Christian.”

Prior to the first two events, Muslim and Evangelical volunteers joined together to pack approximately 10,000 meals for the underserved in the surrounding DFW community and another 10,000 meals for distribution to the needy throughout greater-Kansas City.

Recognizing the great momentum created by the Global Faith Forum discussions in Dallas and Kansas City, the Multi-Faith Neighbors Network, will hold an additional conference in Washington, D.C.

“We believe it is vital to continue this important dialogue in communities worldwide,” said Magid, Executive Imam of All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) Center in Sterling, Virginia and co-host of these events. “These conversations are critical in building bridges that will stop hate, make peace and facilitate lasting relationships.”
One of the greatest lies ever perpetrated upon humanity is this one that claims Islam and Christianity are "Abrahamic faiths" and attributes their founding to Avraham Avinu - one of the most courageous men who ever lived and who would reject them both as avodah zarah, which they clearly are. Avodah zarah is any kind of service of God not specifically commanded by Him.

This is just another in a long line of efforts to create a one-world religion uniting all mankind in opposition to their Creator.  It focuses on relationships among humans rather than on the relationship between the human and his Creator.  That's because their goal is to "phase out"  their Creator and replace Him, God forbid, as if it would ever be possible!!

Only the strength of man's ego surpasses his ability to deceive himself.

ISRAEL AT WAR

17 Adar Bet 5782

Probably the vast majority of Jews believe Israel is in danger of war, but I'm here today to make you understand that we are already very deeply into an existential war that we are currently losing and only HKB"H can save us from utter destruction.

Yes, there are tens of thousands of missiles aimed at us at any given time, but the cultural war is ongoing, it's assisted (even perpetrated) by our own government, and most people are either unaware of the need to fight back or else afraid to for fear of being labeled "racist."

These are some of the sites of recent battles:  Chomesh and Evyatar (eviction of Jews), Khan al Amar and Shimon HaTzaddik (non-eviction of non-Jews), the Kotel (Reform movement and WoW), nationwide ("aliyah" of non-Jews from Africa and Europe), the Knesset (religious "reforms" re: kashrut, conversion, Shabbat transportation, civil marriage and more), and then there are the missionaries.  If you thought this was restricted to Evangelical Christians, I've got a new one for you and believe me, it was new to me, too.  I call these the "Pride Missionaries."

Harish, in Israel’s north, is generally thought of as a sleepy town. The main streets don’t offer much for its residents, and it’s tough to find anything to do at night.

But in the summer of 2021, something historic happened. More than 20 years after the first LGBTQ Pride parade in Israel – in Tel Aviv – this community of 28,000 residents marked its very first Pride event.

It wasn’t taken for granted. A considerable proportion of Harish’s residents is religious and that the mayor wears a kippah.

“A little more than three years ago, we moved here from Netanya, and we found a void with regard to everything connected to the gay community,” says Ma’ayan Gilad, the LGBTQ community coordinator for Harish and the nearby town of Binyamina-Givat Ada.

“There were individuals here, but there was no work for their benefit,” she says. “I felt the need to bring people together and that’s how it started.

"I found myself talking to a woman from the ultra-Orthodox community who wanted to come out of the closet and didn’t have anyone to turn to, and supporting people in extreme circumstances. Last summer, we decided together that we wanted to hold the first Pride event in Harish. We did it with assistance from the Aguda – Israel’s LGBT Task Force, where I have volunteered in recent years.

"We brought in a drag show. We set up stands for children and adults where there were glitter tattoos for children and a henna artist for adults, and a photographer who took portraits for couples and families.

“I think we started a nice tradition that can’t be taken for granted in a mixed city of religious and secular people,” Gilad says. “We showed that we can live in peace with the neighbors, not to hold offensive events, but still address our needs and mark Pride month with a legitimate event.”

Activities for the LGBTQ community in Harish and nearby Binyamina-Givat Ada are run through a Facebook group that includes advertising for businesses from members of the community and through a WhatsApp group publicizing events and sharing surveys. The community will soon also be resuming meetings in which members of the community host others at their homes and share their personal histories.

“Within the LGBTQ community in Harish, there are families with children, there are singles, there are transgender members of all kinds, of all ages,” Gilad says. “In 90 percent of the cases, the members of the community have two reasons to move to Harish. The first is the low cost of housing, and the second is that there are a lot of other members of the community, which provides a comfortable feeling. I don’t claim that there isn’t homophobia and that everything is rosy. The authorities’ desire to work on behalf of the LGBTQ [community] is very apparent. Tel Aviv is not the only place where LGBTQ people can feel at home.”

60 LGBTQ communities

Harish is not the only such place. In recent years, more than 60 LGBTQ communities have developed, and various towns – including those beyond the greater Tel Aviv area, including Be’er Sheva in the south and Haifa in the north – and that provide funding for the community. Local governments employ 29 LGBTQ community coordinators, and there are 30 social workers specializing in the community – a number that is expected to triple by the end of the year, according to a Social Services Ministry plan. From the perspective of the Aguda, it’s a strategic step that will help support local LGBTQ communities.

“Work at the local authorities began a few years ago,” Ran Shalhavi, the Aguda’s CEO, says. “This step began due to the problems from the national government. For many years, we didn’t manage to pass almost any legislation, didn’t manage to make progress on the national political level, and we realized that the national leadership wasn’t reflecting the positions that the Israeli public had regarding the gay community.

“In a lot of surveys, we have been seeing a positive public position toward it, like in the matters of gay parenting and the fight against LGBTQ-hatred,” he continues. “At the same time, we’ve seen that the local authorities are getting stronger and are influencing the residents’ agenda, a process that became even more significant during the coronavirus pandemic. Among many in the community, there was a consensus that living out of the closet required moving to Tel Aviv, and we sought to shatter that argument.

“We began creating a two-part process,” he says. “The first was support for Pride events. We understood that it was a point that in many instances mobilizes the gay community and begins to develop a local activist community that creates change. In 2017, we began helping to fund Pride events around the country – in the first year, for about 15 communities. In the past year, we already got up to 35 Pride events. Even municipal governments that didn’t receive funding from us have referred to the event as an event of tolerance for the gay community and have been funding it – such as in Ramat Gan and Ra’anana.

“In addition to the Pride event, which is usually the first step in establishing a community, we began establishing local communities,” Shalhavi continues. “We got several people in Afula and began meeting with them. We asked them to invite their friends and we created a local community.
It's quite a long, sad and disgusting article, but this should be enough to prove my point. This is so reminiscent of Bilaam's plan to make God angry with us over the affair with the Midianite women, that I shudder to think of the consequences.

Hashem should have mercy on His dear children who are faithful to the covenant and terribly out-manned and out-gunned in this war for our very existence.

HAPPY SHUSHAN PURIM TO THOSE CELEBRATING!

Parashah Commentary by Shlomo Katz:
This week’s Parashah continues to discuss the laws of the Korbanot / sacrificial offerings. We read (7:37), “This is the Torah / law of the Olah / burnt-offering, the Mincha / meal-offering, the Chatat / sin-offering, and the Asham / guilt-offering . . .” R’ Yissachar Dov Rokeach z”l (1851-1926; Belzer Rebbe) asks: If a person were to bring an Olah and a Chatat together, the Chatat would be offered first! (An Olah is a voluntary offering–a gift to Hashem, so-to-speak. Before one can give a gift to the King, he must appease the King, which is the function of a Chatat.) Why, then, is the Olah listed first in our verse?

The Belzer Rebbe answers: The Zohar teaches that, if a person toils in Torah study at night, the Torah will reveal to him the areas in which he needs to improve. Otherwise, say our Sages, “A person cannot see his own blemishes.” [The original context of this expression is the Mishnah (Nega’im 2:5) teaching that a Kohen who has signs of Tzara’at must go to a different Kohen for “diagnosis.” Later Sages apply this expression to the difficulty a person has seeing his own faults.]

The Gemara (Menachot 110a) derives from our verse, “This is the Torah . . .” that, in the absence of the Bet Hamikdash, our studying about the Korbanot takes the place of offering them. Says the Belzer Rebbe: When a person sits down to learn the laws of the Korbanot, he will not choose to learn about the Chatat / sin offering, since he does not see his own blemishes. Rather, he will learn about the Olah, which is a voluntary “gift.” That is why the Olah is mentioned first in our verse. Once he toils in the Torah of the Olah, he will become aware of his obligation to bring a Chatat as well–as hinted to by the Zohar quoted above. Therefore, the Chatat is mentioned later. TA'ANIT ESTHER 5782

13 Adar Bet 5782
  Ta'anit Esther

Fast in Jerusalem and environs - begins 4:36 am and ends 6:14 pm.

~

Excerpts from "Cry To Hashem" by Rabbi Daniel Travis:

...Face to face with the threat of complete annihilation, Mordechai directed us to turn our hearts to Hashem in prayer. On the thirteenth of Adar, before going to war against our adversaries, the Jewish people fasted and prayed that they should succeed in battle. Ta'anis Esther was established to commemorate this day of fasting and prayer, tzom and tefilah (Rosh, Megilah 1,1).

If we have tzaros we usually consider davening as a means to be freed from them. In truth however, troubles are the "illness" and tefilla is the "cure." The real reason for our tzaros is that Hashem wants to hear our tefillos (Rav Chatkel Levenstein zt"l). Before we can appreciate the myriad of hidden miracles that Hashem did for us during the days of Mordechai and Esther, we first need Ta'anis Esther in order to focus on the fact that all the tribulations and subsequent redemption were for the purpose of reestablishing a relationship with our Creator....

Annulling Harsh Decrees

Kabalistic literature reveals another reason behind the fast of Esther. Even though Haman's plans were overturned, a small part of the decree remained. Every year, at the time that his plans were to be carried out, the Satan comes to Hashem, claiming that the Jewish people should be destroyed.

...The Rambam writes that when the Jewish people are experiencing such tragic situations, the Torah obligates us to cry out to Hashem and sound trumpets to arouse us to repentance (Bamidbar 10:9). If we realize that our own actions are at the root of our difficulties, we will learn to mend our ways and cause the harsh decree to be rescinded. If we don't follow this path, and instead relate to what is happening as mere coincidence, the tzaros will simply increase (Rambam, Hilchos Taanis 1:1-3, Mishna Berura 576:1).

In the merit of our fasting and prayers this Taanis Esther may all past decrees on the Jewish people be overturned, all future decrees annulled, and may all of Haman's evil intentions be put to an end once and for all.

AMEN!  TZOM KAL and PURIM SAMEACH!

American Promises Are Worthless

11 Adar Bet 5782

Something the French learned to their regret in 1789.

I'm sharing the following information, not as any indication that I support what Russia is doing in response, but to set the record straight as an object lesson to Jews who still buy into American propaganda.  Both the US and Russia are to blame, both are equally guilty, but despite the popular misconception, America is usually the instigator/aggressor.

Washington D.C., December 12, 2017 – U.S. Secretary of State James Baker’s famous “not one inch eastward” assurance about NATO expansion in his meeting with Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev on February 9, 1990, was part of a cascade of assurances about Soviet security given by Western leaders to Gorbachev and other Soviet officials throughout the process of German unification in 1990 and on into 1991, according to declassified U.S., Soviet, German, British and French documents posted today by the National Security Archive at George Washington University (http://nsarchive.gwu.edu).

The documents show that multiple national leaders were considering and rejecting Central and Eastern European membership in NATO as of early 1990 and through 1991, that discussions of NATO in the context of German unification negotiations in 1990 were not at all narrowly limited to the status of East German territory, and that subsequent Soviet and Russian complaints about being misled about NATO expansion were founded in written contemporaneous memcons and telcons at the highest levels.

The documents reinforce former CIA Director Robert Gates’s criticism of “pressing ahead with expansion of NATO eastward [in the 1990s], when Gorbachev and others were led to believe that wouldn’t happen.” The key phrase, buttressed by the documents, is “led to believe.”

Not once, but three times, Baker tried out the “not one inch eastward” formula with Gorbachev in the February 9, 1990, meeting. He agreed with Gorbachev’s statement in response to the assurances that “NATO expansion is unacceptable.” Baker assured Gorbachev that “neither the President nor I intend to extract any unilateral advantages from the processes that are taking place,” and that the Americans understood that “not only for the Soviet Union but for other European countries as well it is important to have guarantees that if the United States keeps its presence in Germany within the framework of NATO, not an inch of NATO’s present military jurisdiction will spread in an eastern direction.”  (Continue reading here.)

This map tells the tale of how well the US kept it's word...

And every step of the way, Russia complained, but to no avail...
...Real anger was ignited by the rapid expansion of NATO membership in Eastern Europe. With the Cold War over, Russians felt NATO's original role was no longer needed. It feared its dramatic move eastward meant an escalation of NATO's historic role in containment of Russian goals. Russia stridently opposed the U.S.-led NATO military operation against Serbia and Montenegro over Kosovo that began in March 1999.

...Russia has regarded the expansion of NATO into the old Eastern Bloc, and U.S. efforts to gain access to Central Asian oil and natural gas as a potentially hostile encroachment on Russia's sphere of influence. The Russian leadership blamed U.S. officials for encouraging anti-Russian revolts during the Rose Revolution in Georgia in 2003 and the Orange Revolution in Ukraine in 2004. Putin saw intrusions into Russia's historic sphere of interest.

...Russian President Putin described the recognition of Kosovo's independence by the United States and other Western countries as "a terrible precedent, which will de facto blow apart the whole system of international relations, developed not over decades, but over centuries", and that "they have not thought through the results of what they are doing. At the end of the day it is a two-ended stick and the second end will come back and hit them in the face". In March 2014, Russia used Kosovo's declaration of independence as a justification for recognizing the independence of Crimea, citing the so-called "Kosovo independence precedent".

In early 2008, President George W. Bush vowed full support for admitting Ukraine and Georgia into NATO, despite Russia's opposition to the further eastward expansion of NATO. Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin warned that any incorporation of Ukraine into NATO would cause a "deep crisis" in Russia–Ukraine relations and also negatively affect Russia's relations with the West.

In March 2007, the U.S. announced plans to build an anti-ballistic missile defense installation in Poland along with a radar station in the Czech Republic. Both nations were former Warsaw Pact members and both had repudiated Communism and Russian interference. U.S. officials said that the system was intended to protect the United States and Europe from possible nuclear missile attacks by Iran or North Korea. Russia, however, viewed the new system as a potential threat....

Putin compared U.S. plans to put up a missile defense system near Russia's border as analogous to when the Soviet Union deployed missiles in Cuba, prompting the Cuban Missile Crisis.

In July 2008, Russia announced that if a U.S. anti-missile shield was deployed near the Russian border, it would have to react militarily. The statement from the Russian foreign ministry said, "If an American strategic anti-missile shield starts to be deployed near our borders, we will be forced to react not in a diplomatic fashion but with military-technical means." Later, Russia's ambassador to the United Nations Vitaly Churkin said that "military-technical means" did not mean military action, but more likely a change in Russia's strategic posture, perhaps by redeploying its own missiles.

On August 14, 2008, the U.S. and Poland agreed to have 10 two-stage missile interceptors – made by Orbital Sciences Corporation – placed in Poland, as part of a missile shield to defend Europe and the U.S. from a possible missile attack by Iran. In return, the U.S. agreed to move a battery of MIM-104 Patriot missiles to Poland. The missile battery was to be staffed – at least temporarily – by U.S. Military personnel. The U.S. also pledged to defend Poland, a NATO member, quicker than NATO would in the event of an attack. Additionally, the Czech Republic recently agreed to allow the placement of a radar-tracking station in their country, despite public opinion polls showing that the majority of Czechs were against the plans and only 18% supported it. The radar-tracking station in the Czech Republic would also be part of the missile defense shield. After the agreement was announced, Russian officials said defences on Russia's borders would be increased and that they foresaw harm in bilateral relations with the United States.

...In August 2008, United States-Russia bilateral relations became further strained, when Russia and Georgia fought a five-day war over the Russian-backed self-proclaimed republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. President Bush said to Russia, "Bullying and intimidation are not acceptable ways to conduct foreign policy in the 21st century."

...The end of 2014 saw the passage by the US of the Ukraine Freedom Support Act of 2014, aimed at depriving certain Russian state firms of Western financing and technology while also providing $350 million in arms and military equipment to Ukraine,.... (Source)
Putin is the President of Russia and as such, it is his job is to protect the interests of Russia, not the West. It's interesting that he refers tot he Cuban Missile Crisis.  Yet again, the US appears the innocent party, justifiably objecting to Russian aggression, but was it really?

...despite America’s overwhelming nuclear preponderance, JFK, in keeping with his avowed aim to pursue a foreign policy characterized by “vigor,” had ordered the largest peacetime expansion of America’s military power, and specifically the colossal growth of its strategic nuclear forces. This included deploying, beginning in 1961, intermediate-range “Jupiter” nuclear missiles in Italy and Turkey—adjacent to the Soviet Union. From there, the missiles could reach all of the western U.S.S.R., including Moscow and Leningrad (and that doesn’t count the nuclear-armed “Thor” missiles that the U.S. already had aimed at the Soviet Union from bases in Britain).

The Jupiter missiles were an exceptionally vexing component of the U.S. nuclear arsenal. Because they sat aboveground, were immobile, and required a long time to prepare for launch, they were extremely vulnerable. Of no value as a deterrent, they appeared to be weapons meant for a disarming first strike—and thus greatly undermined deterrence, because they encouraged a preemptive Soviet strike against them. The Jupiters’ destabilizing effect was widely recognized among defense experts within and outside the U.S. government and even by congressional leaders. For instance, Senator Albert Gore Sr., an ally of the administration, told Secretary of State Dean Rusk that they were a “provocation” in a closed session of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in February 1961 (more than a year and a half before the missile crisis), adding, “I wonder what our attitude would be” if the Soviets deployed nuclear-armed missiles to Cuba. Senator Claiborne Pell raised an identical argument in a memo passed on to Kennedy in May 1961.

Given America’s powerful nuclear superiority, as well as the deployment of the Jupiter missiles, Moscow suspected that Washington viewed a nuclear first strike as an attractive option. They were right to be suspicious. The archives reveal that in fact the Kennedy administration had strongly considered this option during the Berlin crisis in 1961.

...Kennedy’s deployment of the Jupiter missiles “was a key reason for Khrushchev’s decision to send nuclear missiles to Cuba.” Khrushchev reportedly made that decision in May 1962, declaring to a confidant that the Americans “have surrounded us with bases on all sides” and that missiles in Cuba would help to counter an “intolerable provocation.”

Now you know the rest of the story.  Americans (and their supporters) need to face the truth.  If you don't have time to see the entire video posted below, at least listen from 05:40 - 06:36; however I highly recommend seeing the whole thing and I am no fan of FOX News!

The Key Question is "Why?"

10 Adar Bet 5782

Israel keeps getting dragged into the middle of this thing.

Zelensky: Jerusalem is 'constructive place' to hold Russia-Ukraine talks
So, of all places, why Jerusalem?

Meanwhile with Israelis under continuing threats of missile attacks from Lebanon, Syria, Iran and Gaza...

The US and European countries are ordering large quantities of Israeli gas masks and protective gear against chemical weapons. The uptick in orders comes as concerns grow about a potential non-conventional Russian attack in Ukraine.

...Sweden, Norway, Lithuania and Romanian placed orders for tens of thousands of masks and protective kits in recent days, N12 News reported. In parallel, the US ordered from Israel more than 2,000 pieces of protective gear for adults and children, the report said. The equipment is needed for American embassies in Europe,....
With a current population of approximately 9 million...

While Israel stopped distributing gas masks in 2014 following the dismantling of Syria's chemical stockpile, it retained production facilities should the need arise.
Surely, there are other manufacturers of gas masks closer to home, so why ask Israel, especially since it cannot presently supply its own citizenry?

I don't think I would like the answer.

Ukrainian embassy backs High Court petition to block Israel’s refugee cap
...The embassy hired Israeli attorney Tomer Warsha to file the suit. Warsha’s law firm called on the High Court to immediately issue an injunction blocking the new policies and forcing the government to allow Ukrainians in.

...[Ukraine's Ambassador to Israel Yevgen] Korniychuk said Friday that Israel is not doing enough to support Ukraine by providing defensive aid, absorbing refugees, and taking a clear stance against Russia, accusing Jerusalem of being “afraid” of Moscow.

...Russia has “a few airplanes and anti-missile systems in Syria… and you are afraid,” Korniychuk charged. “And at the same time, let me point you to Baltic states that have a joint border with the Russian Federation. And they don’t care, they bring everything they could to Ukraine, they’re not afraid,” referencing NATO countries who are supplying Ukraine with weapons to resist the invasion.

Did he just call us "chicken"?

 Aw, grow up Korniychuk!!

"REMEMBER..."

8 Adar Bet 5782
Erev Shabbat Kodesh
Parashat Vayikra - Zachor

"Remember what Amalek did to you on the way."

However, it's not enough just to remember what Amalek did in the past, because Amalek is still making trouble for us.  We have to also remember what protects us from Amalek's evil plots against us.
Idolatry in the camp of Israel (The Book of Our HeritageEliyahu Kitov)
You followed me in the wilderness in a land that was not planted (Yirmeyahu 2:2) – The Sages explained: This [the complete dependence on G-d that characterized Israel’s existence in the desert] is only temporary and will last only as long as you are on the way [to the Land of Israel] and until the Torah is permanently implanted within you. Afterwards, you shall enter the land which is My place, and you will plant at the time of planting, sow at the time of sowing, and harvest at the time of harvesting, and I shall grant you bounty greater than any other nation or land.
However, the imperative to remove all traces of idolatry and to serve only G-d—this is incumbent upon you now and for generations to comeHave you removed the foreign gods from your midst? Have you brought yourselves under My wing and shattered all of your idols? Let Amalek come and examine you. If your hearts are completely with Me, you have nothing to fear. But if there is among you a man or woman whose soul still clings to the idols of Egypt and their abominations, let them [the idols] come and save you from the wicked Amalek! The verse therefore states: And Amalek came (Shemos 17;8)…and he tailed after you [striking] all the weak who fell behind (Devarim 25;18).
After he tailed after you—R. Nachman explained: All those whom the “protective cloud” cast out were caught by Amalek. The Sages explained: This refers to the tribe of Dan who were cast out by the “protective cloud” because they were all idol-worshipers. The idol which Michah had created was in their midst, and there were many among them who had not wholeheartedly resolved to serve God alone (Yalkut Shimoni, Parashas Ki Setze).

The complete obliteration of Amalek will occur at the time of the final redemption, immediately preceding the month of Nisan. A trace of that obliteration is felt each year during Purim, which falls in the month preceding Nisan. The reading of Parashas Zachor was therefore prescribed for this time of year.

AMALEK'S WAR

7 Adar Bet 5782

~ ~ ~
~ ~ ~

Remember when I said "It's All About the Jews"?  At its core, the New World Order is Jew-hating, the kind most often associated with Nazism, but which has been with us since we first existed as a nation.  It's an unreasoning hatred that is spread to the masses by fear.

STAGE I - Pandemic: Fear of infection/death, loss of or separation from loved ones, loss of income

Global Trends in Conspiracy Theories Linking Jews with Coronavirus

Tech boss calls COVID-19 a "deadly Jewish plot"

'Jews Control Chinese Labs That Created Coronavirus': White Supremacists’ Dangerous New Conspiracy Theory
Unfortunately, the fact that Jewish names appear prominently along the 'food chain' lends credibility to the claims.

STAGE II
 - World War
: Fear of annihilation, famine, apocalypse, suffering for generations to come.

Anti-Semitic Flyers...Blame Jews for 9/11

September 11 2001: The hate that will not die

With the whole world following the antics of the "Jewish" President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as well as PM of Israel Naftali Bennett's excursion to mediate between Russia and Ukraine, not to mention the international debate about how much and what kind of "help" the Jewish State should offer to Ukraine, the influx of refugees and how many non-Jews will be accepted, how long do you think it will be before another conspiracy starts?  When the situation devolves and others are dragged into it and the worst of our fears begin to come true, how long before it all becomes a Zionist plot to benefit the Jews or to get the goyim to kill each other off so the Jews can take over and rule the world???

And how much more so, if a nuke goes off over New York City during WWIII or an EMP is brought upon America by Iran about whom Israel has been inciting the US to war for decades now?!!

The Powers That Be will be the first to point out that it has been "The Jews" all along who have been the cause (either directly or indirectly) of all the wars and all the world's problems.  It won't be much of a stretch to go from there to the conclusion that as long as Jews continue to identify as a separate set-apart entity, whether it is in a ghetto or synagogue or in a country of their own, there will never be peace.  The Jewish State must cease to be as such and instead will become a state of all its citizens and stop preferential immigration for Jews.  Palestine must be established on the "Biblical" lands so as to distance the Jews further from their national narrative and Jerusalem must be internationalized and considered as a city special to all of humanity equally.  God forbid a thousand times!!!

You see, it's not just all about the Jews - it's all about getting rid of the Jews and getting the whole world on board with it.  Maybe, maybe, they plan to allow us to continue to exist as Judeo-Christians.

TROUBLING: Missionaries Planning Mass Conversions for Jews Fleeing Ukraine

Despite how it looks on the surface, this is not about Ukraine or Russia or NATO or even Iran or China.  This is Amalek's War to Exterminate the Jews by whatever means it can be achieved.

NEW STUDY: mRNA 'VACCINE' IS A DNA CHANGER

 5 Adar Bet 5782

For over a year, we've been told that mRNA vaccines, including Pfizer and Moderna, don't integrate with human cell DNA. However, a new study from Sweden published in the Current Issues of Molecular Biology says otherwise.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Swedish lab studies suggest that mRNA from the ‘vaccines’ does integrate itself into human cellular DNA. This means that a shot of the Pfizer vaccine, taken even once, could permanently change the DNA of affected cells.

For over a year, we’ve been told that mRNA vaccines, including Pfizer and Moderna, don’t integrate with human cell DNA.

What the article shows is that in vitro, using a human liver cell line, the Pfizer mRNA vaccine uses a natural reverse transcriptase enzyme called LINE-1, and the genetic code of the vaccine is reverse transcribed into the DNA.

It also explains that vaccine mRNA actually does travel to the liver as one of the preferred sites (the other sites, as we heard, are ovaries and more).

What does it mean? Normally, our cells do the reverse: the cell nucleus, where the DNA is, expresses certain DNA code based on conditions of the cell and produces natural, human messenger RNA.

That messenger RNA travels out of the nucleus, where it is expressed into proteins needed for cell building. This is how growing organisms express different genetic programs to grow muscle cells or brain cells, etc.

This process is called “transcription”.

For many years, Central Dogma of Molecular Biology stated that the “reverse transcription” — moving genetic code from RNA back into the sacred cellular nuclear and recoding the DNA — was impossible.

Eventually, scientists realized that it is possible under various conditions. For example, the HIV RNA virus is able to do so and it reprograms our DNA to produce copies of it. HIV is the virus that causes AIDS.

To effect reverse transcription, enzymes called “reverse transcriptases” are needed. One of them is called LINE-1.

Apparently, the Pfizer mRNA vaccine causes cells to produce that LINE-1 enzyme, says the study.

After seeing LINE-1 reverse transcriptase rise, they tested for alterations to the DNA, making sure they are not picking up the RNA instead.

Considering that Sars-Cov-2 “spike protein” has a cancer code from Moderna 2017’ patent 9,587,003, it is imperative to find out the implications of this reverse transcription, and whether the vaccinated now have any undesirable genetic code embedded into their DNA.

Of particular interest is whether this mRNA-induced reverse transcription affects the “germ line”, such as eggs and sperm cells, and whether it also affects the fetus of pregnant mothers.
