What Is the Significance of the First Hurricane to Hit Yemen?

Tropical cyclone dumping years' worth of rain on war-torn Yemen in one day

Ravaged by months of war, Yemen has now been battered by the first tropical storm on record to make landfall in the impoverished Arab country.

Tropical Cyclone Chapala slammed into Yemen's central coast early Tuesday, lashing the area with maximum sustained winds of around 140 kph (85 mph).

But the major concern is the extraordinary volume of rain the storm system is expected to dump on the country's dry, rugged terrain, bringing a severe threat of mudslides.

Yemen typically gets around 100 millimeters (4 inches) of rain per year. Chapala was forecast to unleash two to three times that amount in the space of just one day.

The video says this storm is a hint to Zechariah 9 which also talks about the coming of Mashiach: "And the Lord shall appear over them, and his arrows shall go forth like lightning. And the Lord God shall sound the shofar, and He shall go with the Teiman [Yemen] storms." And prior to that was written: "Be exceedingly happy, O daughter of Zion; Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem. Behold! Your king shall come to you. He is just and victorious; humble, and riding a donkey...."

They point out the strange lightning and "arrows like lightning" were specifially mentioned by the prophet. The news articles say that Judaism and Jews are in danger in Yemen; that the government itself said Jews must become Muslims or leave. They say that just like the angels brought the destruction to Sodom and Amorrah, angels brought this storm destruction to Yemen because of the prayers of the Jews there. This occurred during Parshat Vayera, the parsha when we read about Sodom and Amorrah and the words "storms from Teiman [Yemen]" appear in code within Parshat Vayera.

They say also the Zohar on Parshat Balak mentions it and they give a final word: "There's still a little more time to clean ourselves up...." before Mashiach's arrival.

    1. No, I doubt it. But I thought those who couldn't read it would still enjoy seeing it. ;-)

  3. A US meteorologist said Yemen would receive eight years of rain in about 48 hours on typically arid regions of the Arabian Peninsula.

  4. If I read that white part correctly between 2:27-2:48 into the video, about a year before this hurricane the Muslims demanded that the remaining Jews convert to Islam or leave the country. One man in particular, named Moshe (I can't figure out his family name to transliterate it), said, "You'll remain a Muslim and I'll remain a Jew." He was shot to death with 5 bullets. It seems that the rest were treated similarly. I also thought I saw where Moshe's wife made it safely to Bnei Brak.

Again, I'm not sure I read it correctly. But a scenario like that could explain why HQB"H would divert a hurricane off its usual course to hit Yemen instead of Burma, Thailand and the usual places that get monsoon rains every year. He avenges His people!!!!

And what about those monsoon countries? I have no idea whether or not it could be a 2-in-1 blow against the goyim. Could be that's something we don't know yet.

Did I see correctly or not? - many thanks.

  6. It is the last Shofar blast in the trio of blasts for Prophesy in Musaph Rosh HaShanah. The other two blasts came with 1. the Birth of the State of Israel, and 2. The Ingathering of Russian and Ethiopian Jews in 5750 and 5751 in accordance with the Vilna Gaon's prediction. This is the Last of the Trilogy.

On a lighter note: It was most likely an ISIS planted bomb on board that Russian airliner that was downed over the Sinai. Both American and British Intelligence seem to have ominously come to this conclusion in tandem with each other. Russian news sources are reporting that bodies near the tail section show signs of explosive trauma and metal fragments along with burns from the Crash. Bodies near the front of the plane only have burns from the Crash. If this is proven to be the case, we will quickly see Natan's scenario unfold. ...very quickly. Stock up and daven. We may have just crossed over the threshold to GogUMagog.

    1. The trouble is, ISIS works for the US/UK. Whenever they are teamed up on anything, it's part of their NWO war. So, I'm suspicious of whatever conclusions they announce.

  7. wow, we should take the opportunity to improve ourselves now before Moshiach comes, whether with prayer or middos or emunah etc

  8. Sounds good to me; but from what I've gathered thus far, the biblical land of Teiman is just south of the boundaries of Eretz Yisrael, - not the modern day Yemen that we know in the Arabian peninsula.
