"Documentary: The History of Hanukkah"
28 Kislev 5776 4th Candle of Hanukah Has some interesting points. The historical record is pretty good. I could do without the 'editorializing' and xian references. Take it for what it's worth...
The documentary itself is very interesting; but hearing some of the commentaries from non-Jews who have no idea of the kedusha of Torah (both written & oral) is disturbing. The idea that somehow there's a connection to their religion shows they have no understanding of our history. nili
