WHAT DOES IT MEAN - NATIONAL STATE OF EMERGENCY?  The government approved a special situation on the home front in all areas of the country.  There is no change at the moment in school or  work. This mainly concerns the state bodies, legally authorizing them to make quick and enforceable rulings should conditions require it.

The last time this power was in place was for COVID.  In a special state of emergency, the Minister of Economy has powers regarding curfews but leaving workers in essential workplaces, the Minister of Communications has powers regarding broadcasts, and more.

.. YES satellite TV, due to the special situation, unlocks a variety of TV channels for all its customers for free.

The Lebanese Health Ministry has announced that the Death Toll from today’s Widespread Israeli Strikes now sits at 356, while over 1,200 have been Injured in varying Degrees of Severity.

⚠ In light of the growing conflict, a state of emergency has been declared throughout Israel, according to Israel Hayom. 

◾ Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich declared that Israel will now "change the rules of the game," signaling a shift in military strategy moving forward.

◾ Meanwhile, the Pentagon remains uncertain whether Israel is preparing for a ground incursion into Lebanon, but it acknowledges that Hezbollah's actions have escalated the situation.

Following an announcement earlier from the Pentagon, that additional U.S. Military Assets and Personnel were being Deployed to the Middle East; according to Axios, the United States has also asked Israel to take Steps to ensure the Safety of American Servicemembers and Nationals if it were to order a Military Evacuation from Lebanon. Lebanese Sources have now confirmed that Ali Karaki, the Commander of Hezbollah’s Southern Front and one of the last remaining Members of Hezbollah’s Military High-Chain of Command, was Eliminated by an Israeli Airstrike tonight on the Capital of Beirut.
