Plagued by a "Brother's" Jealousy

Parashat Chayei Sarah - Mevorchim

I wanted to avoid this subject, it turns my stomach so, but I seem to have no choice.

What do cowboys from Montana have to do with this week's Parashat Chayei Sarah and the Haftarah about the anointing of Shlomo HaMelekh

The parashah ends with the lineage of Yishmael whose descendants would forever contest Yitzchak's exclusive right to the heritage of Avraham Avinu.

The haftarah from the Book of Kings describes the coup attempt by David HaMelekh's son Adoniyahu who thought to wrest the throne from his brother Shlomo who was promised to inherit.

Present day:  These Montana boys are a subset of Christians who believe they have inheritance rights to our Holy Land - Eretz Yisrael - specifically in the Shomron where they come occasionally to stake and guard their claim.  They consider themselves family members.

What do all three have in common?  The sons of Yishmael, Adoniyahu ben David and the Montana cowboys?  Jealousy for what is not rightfully theirs and attempting to steal it by subterfuge.

For absolutely necessary background [MUST READ!] see War on Sukkot!* (Part 3 - A Necessary Diversion) written in 2017.  What a title, huh?  It defines who and what the "Ephraimites" are.  The cowboys from Montana and the Wallers from Tennessee are part of that.  It's a sect of fairly recent origin and it appeals to Christians who want to take physical possession of our Land, particularly in the tribal portion of Ephraim, even though they actually claim to be from all ten "lost tribes."

Even though these boys have been to Israel a few times already, staying at the Waller homestead on Har Brachah and working for Tommy Waller's HaYovel Ministries, for whatever reason, they've suddenly garnered a lot of attention.

It has been widely (and erroneously) reported that they have come specifically at this time to help the farmers down South with their agriculture.  NOT TRUE!  You meet anyone with that same misconception, let them know and correct the record.  They are up on the Ephraimite homestead with the Daddy of the Lost Tribes.  Them and Geezus.

I have an unconfirmed report that they are here to do security, not agriculture at all.

They may be "aw-shucks-good-old-boys," but they are not righteous gentiles and they are not our "brothers."  Furthermore, they are not to be celebrated!  They are Eisav and they are doomed!!

UPDATE!!  Show is over so the cowboy hat disappears.  John Plocker getting ready for his security job on Har Brachah.  (He was featured in a video at the Ynet News site link provided at the beginning of this blog post.)

Definitely NO agricultural work and NOT down South where it is so desperately needed.  They aren't here to help Jews, they are here to help themselves.

  1. Sometimes your posts restore my sanity. I have been having this argument at endofdays about the missionaryboys, and in general about duplicitous missionary tactics. I didn't have all your details, but it was obvious they were missionaries, just from seeing the story on the Israel Guys by Hayovel.

What is wrong with frum Jews? I thought it was basics that we don't invite missionaries into our midst and that Jews should live in Israel, or at the very least, be truly yearning to do so. What happened to emuna and bitachon in Hashem? Why do they think that we need these people for our survival or parnasa, or that Hashem can't give us parnasa in EY?

Is this some kind of abused child phenomenon accepting 'love' from all the wrong places. Where is the Jewish self-respect.

We need Moshiach to save us from ourselves.

    1. My best guess is the Christians are connecting to the Erev Rav among us, which is going to be a shocker to the Christians when they realize. Real Jewish neshamot are repelled by them.

      Indeed.

Some for sure, but I think some of the endofdays crowd would be quite appalled to be called erev rav. I think that there are some genuine Jews who genuinely don't have a clue. I hope they make tshuva.

  2. Please explain the security angle. They are not Israeli citizens so are not allowed to bear arms. What is going on here exactly?
