A couple of observations to share...
(1) Chazal say "He who is merciful to the cruel will be cruel to the merciful." I'd say nothing in history proves that point better than the saving of Sinwar's life and turning him loose to perpetrate all that has been happening to us since the Simchat Torah Massacre.
(2) Because of Iran's delay in taking its "retribution" on us, the whole world now knows about Tisha b'Av as it is being discussed across social media and in the news as a possible date of attack and why. This is yad Hashem!
What's not clear to them or to many of us is the following...
One of these years, and very possibly this one, Tisha b'Av will herald not just our redemption, but the downfall and judgment of the nations. With regard to this the prophet Yirmiyahu (51:11) says:
"Prepare the arrows, fill the quivers; for Hashem has stirred up the spirit of the kings of Medea, for His thoughts are directed against Babylonia, to destroy it; for it is the vengeance of Hashem, vengeance for His Sanctuary."
And that is why this is taking so long and why everyone is working so hard to stop it - this war is the gateway to our redemption!!!
Greetings good Jews !! The" Bnei Yissachar" writes that the 22 days of the 3 weeks is 426 hours .However when we do the math it comes out to 528 hours!!! The author does not include the "good" times of ,3 Shabbases ,one day Rosh Chodesh ,and the last 6 hours of Tisha B'Av . All the best [Rav] Yehuda [Richter]
