24 Menachem Av 5775
This is not a politically correct disclaimer. It is a true statement of my innermost thoughts at this time.
I would not follow the path Meir Ettinger has taken, nor would I encourage anyone else to do so. However, I would not be true to myself or to the purpose of this blog if I refrained from supporting the rightness of his cause and the choice of this path for those who are called to it.
I will not condemn those who take the path of resistance. I would help them in any way I could short of planning and executing the acts themselves. I am glad that G-d has appointed certain high and lofty souls to embrace the path of mesirut nefesh for the sake of Hashem, His People, His Land and His Torah. No, I will not condemn. I will support them with love and with gratitude.
Jews have to wake up and understand that we are at war - a 'managed' war in which life carries on with some warped sense of normalcy that includes 'acceptable' losses on both sides - a few per week - constantly - over years and years. Still, it takes a toll on those who manage to survive from day to day, and year to year.
In the thirties and forties, it was the secular Zionist Jews who were waging a clandestine war against the unjust ruling power - Great Britain.
Today, it is the religious Torah-bearing youth who are waging a clandestine war against the unjust 'democratic', pluralistic, anti-Torah regime of the Erev Rav.
They're fighting for all of those who love and cling to Torah and mitzvot.
Parshat Eikev: "... You shall faithfully observe all the Instruction that I enjoin upon you today, that you may thrive and increase and be able to possess the land that the Lord promised on oath to your fathers. ... Take care lest you forget the Lord your God and fail to keep His commandments, His rules, and His laws, which I enjoin upon you today. ... If you do forget the Lord your God and follow other gods to serve them or bow down to them, I warn you this day that you shall certainly perish; like the nations that the Lord will cause to perish before you, so shall you perish — because you did not heed the Lord your God."

...After the state issued an administrative restraining order against Ettinger in March, attorney Adi Kedar from Honenu appealed the order to the High Court of Justice. Eventually, the appeal was rejected and the order remained in place, but even before the judges made their decision, they received a letter from Ettinger.
"Two weeks ago, I received a restraining order barring me from my home in Givat Sneh Ya'akov near the holy city of Nablus. This order forces me to leave my home, the righteous Jacob's land, my parents’ house in the holy city of Jerusalem, the city of the Temple, and my in-laws' house in Shiloh, where the Tabernacle resided thousands of years before the strange and bizarre laws that this court adheres to were made," he wrote.
"Unfortunately, the Land of Israel is dominated by a government that is not loyal to the laws of Torah and the commandments, to whom the sanctity of the Land of Israel is foreign, and the fact it is called a Jewish state is merely lip service. This is the situation that brought me to stand here, in front of this court, that in my eyes is the same as those who are barring me from my home and the land of my ancestors, whose goal is to promote assimilation and erase the unique nature of the people of Israel, and to whom the state's security is not the same as the security of Jews...
"This court calls itself a high court of justice, but to us it is the symbol of the injustice and the theft of the name 'Israel'... the order I received cites 'reasons of state security and public safety.' This is the time to say - it is not I who destroyed Israel, but you who sit here, and your predecessors, who endanger the Jews' security over and over again..."
Three days after receiving the restraining order, Ettinger gave an interview to "HaKol HaYehudi" website.
"I didn't get this order because I'm suspected of murder or robbing banks, but because we all want to see the Kingdom of Israel rise here as soon as possible," he said, and then elaborated: "We don't recognize the authority of the government that controls the Land of Israel today, to tell us what to do and how to do it... We shouldn't even pay heed to the persecution and the restrictions they put on us. We must act with all of our might to change the situation and do everything we can to form the Kingdom of Israel."
...In an interview to "HaKol HaYehudi," [Efi Haiken] said Ettinger should see his restraining order as a compliment and "as a sign that we are on the right path. It just shows we're heading the way we want to and the evidence to that is that the 'caliphates' are fighting us with vigor."
He defined Ettinger as "the flag bearer of those who believe that the State of Israel should disappear and that we need to establish the Kingdom of Israel as soon as possible, as God commanded us."
Later, Haikin touched upon one of the key points in the ideology that leads the extremists in the outposts: "The State of Israel is financing churches in the Land of Israel even though one of the main commandments given to the people of Israel as they entered the Land of Israel is to uproot any idol worship."
...In April, Ettinger wrote...
"The nationalistic crime unit was established about three years ago. This is a unit that has enormous budgets and is meant entirely for one purpose - eliminate nationalistically-motivated crime, meaning the Jewish uprising against the security deterioration... the unit is headed by a man who would rather you didn't know about him, but I think every teenager should know how low a Jew can go. It is Udi Levy, a man who, over the past 15 years, dedicated his life to fighting the settlements in the Land of Israel and protecting the lives of our enemies."
The ruling regime, in its failure to protect its people from enemy attack after enemy attack for political expediency has lost its legitimacy and shouldn't be surprised when the citizenry it failed to brainwash through its corrupted educational institutions rebels against its poisonous policies.
If the government cared at least as much for Jewish life and property as it does for the enemy Arabs, there is a good possibility that no one would be driven to take matters into his own hands. But our tradition teaches us: "In a place where there are no men, strive to be a man." Some Jews do more than pay it lip service. They actually internalize our ancient wisdom and allow it to inform their deeds.

Bennett: Violent extremists threaten Israel, must be stopped
...Education Minister Naftali Bennett wrote in Friday’s New York Times.
“Israel is under attack,” he began. “This time though, the threat is not from Iran, Hezbollah or Hamas. It comes from a fringe group within Israel, which needs to be eradicated swiftly and forcefully.”
Bennett said that the attackers are Jewish extremists who said they are acting in the name of God, but in reality desecrate Him, Judaism and the Jewish people, and represent no one but themselves, not the mostly law-abiding residents of Jewish communities in the West Bank. They are a fringe group who want to destroy Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.
“They are terrorists,” he added, vowing to use all means at Israel’s disposal to defeat them. “They are anarchists, a fifth column…they must face the full force of Israel’s justice system and its defense establishment.
The government authorized extraordinary measures to apprehend the Duma killers, Bennett wrote, modeling action after the way Israel combats other terrorist groups.
“These extremists threaten Zionism, our future and our statehood,” he stated. “We must do everything in our power to stop them.”
Calling himself “the leader of Israel’s right-wing camp,” Bennett reiterated his stance against conceding land, that settlements in the West Bank are legitimate and that a Palestinian state is a “risk Israel cannot take,” as it would be a launching pad for terrorist attacks.
Still, the Bayit Yehudi chairman wrote that he “believe[s] in coexistence and working together with our neighbors to create stability, economic prosperity and a safe, secure future for all of our children, Israeli and Palestinian, without regard for their religion or sexual orientation.”
As education minister, Bennett said he supports tolerance, including having Jewish schoolchildren learn more about Arabs, their culture, history and language, and called for Palestinians to do the same, rather than “publishing maps that pretend there is no State of Israel…praising martyrdom…[and] naming town squares for mass murderers.”
“We need to speak respectfully about one another and appreciate the differences among us. That is the only way to attain a genuine and durable peace,” he wrote.
It is Bennet who desecrates G-d's Name with every stroke of his poison pen and with every utterance of his evil mouth! May he quickly disappear from our reality along with all the evil that has taken control of G-d's beautiful world.

Jewish terrorists are bad weeds in our own backyard
...Following the two murders, settler leaders, religious-Zionist rabbis and academics associated with them convened in Jerusalem this week. They held a painful discussion about the state, Halacha laws and modernism, the place of universal values, and how to fight the bad weeds that grew in their own back yards.
They didn't agree about everything, but the participants released a joint statement. "We who love the land and the people... there is room for all of the children of Abraham, Isaac and the sons of Ishmael in our land, regardless of religion, race, gender or orientation. Beloved is man who was created in the image of God." I have serious political disagreements with the majority of participants, but as those who represent the majority of the national-religious camp, they deserve to be commended for making a clear statement in favor of the sons of Ishmael, as well as those with a different sexual orientation.
Can anyone still doubt the reality of the Erev Rav, especially within the so-called leadership positions of the People of Israel? They are themselves a mixture and they want to mix us with the goyim and mix our pure Yiddishkeit with the impure common western culture - creating global assimilation and the end of the Am Segulah.
This blog post is my way of drawing a clear line of demarcation between myself and them. This is how I withdraw and separate myself from them - like from those who worshiped the Golden Calf and from Korach and his followers. You must separate as well. We all must - in our own way.
Devash, thank you for this post.
ReplyDeleteDo you think it is worthwhile to investigate whether the nascent Sanhedrin could be a viable alternative or not? I am looking at writing on it along with my posts on the status quo for Jews because, while I believe it is necessary to do mitzvoth in our personal lives, I am looking around for resources in the public sphere. The need for a feasible alternative has grown exponentially in the last week or so, as Meir Ettinger is now paying the price just for having said, in effect, "The Emperor Has No Clothes."
So far, the Sanhedrin says a lot, but it seems their words have had little effect because (at least from what I saw there) people were more interested in following the well-beaten path of the Erev Rav (see the very first psak din they made "Concerning the Disengagement from Gaza" from March 2005. They didn't permit any Jew to cooperate with it whatsoever; but so many did.
Shavua tov.
CDG, there are Erev Rav on the "nascent" Sanhedrin. We won't have a proper one til Mashiach, sad to say.
DeleteDvash, fantastic article. You said it all. Everything is out in the open; they are proving without a doubt that they are the descendants of the Erev Rav. Hashem has other plans!

Truly great thoughts. You have spoken for many of us. Because it is so apparent, we must strengthen our emuna and bitachon that retribution is on the way.
