The Worst Possible Scenario

24 Adar 5775

This is the week of the elections for Israel's 20th Knesset. Imagine the worst possible scenario and you probably will not be disappointed.

We are so close to Mashiach now, there is no more time to play these games of politics. It's time for Am Yisrael to grow up and understand that her mission and her destiny are far greater than a "democratic" system of government can accommodate. This election is going to be about proving this to Am Yisrael, of breaking her faith and dependence on human institutions, and bringing the Erev Rav down once and for all. Before He overthrows His enemy, HKB"H first brings him up very high.

They will think that they have gained the ultimate victory, but it will only be the prelude to their ultimate destruction.

  1. "Arrogance is the precursor to the downfall." I hear you loud and clear. We need to put our efforts in to what really matters.

  2. All our enemies were always arrogant as H' allowed them to get more powerful by using their wicked ways and then they were 'no more'. Mind boggling, history has taught them nothing. Mere mortal men are here and then gone and yet they continue to fight the Creator. This is the sum total of\ man's intellect. These hard and confusing times are just the way it was foretold by our prophets and sages. Just as Rabbi Akiva was laughing when he saw the fox running through the Beit Hamikdash, he understood immediately that all the nevuot of our holy neviim will come to pass - may it be immediately. H' is in control.

  3. Also,I was taught that chazal say before Hashem allows an enemy to rise up against Am Yisrael, He first elevates them to a superpower status so that Hashem's nation is not degraded by being taken down by any two-bit players.

  4. Imagine the worst possible scenario, if no frum person would vote and participate in this Egel Ha Zahav service, It will constitute that 20% of population cast the vote of no confidence to the system. Since the governing body has to be established over that population, the Sanhedrin will emerge as the necessity to us. But by playing "The Marry go around" we are delaying our redemption.
