Is Danny Danon the Second Coming?

8 Elul 5773

Will he ride to the rescue of Christians struggling for a place in the Holy Land?

I've written about Danny Danon in the past with regard to his deep involvement with missionaries.  His name was broached yesterday in a comment on another blog by an "Anonymous" suggesting a possible connection between the messianic name Yinon and Danon.  Then, this morning, I received an email with more disturbing news involving Danny Danon. I'll take that as a 'hint' that it's time to bring this information to the Jewish public (again).

Before anyone gets too excited at the prospect of a Danny Danon leadership, you should learn some important facts.

1) He is in the pocket of the missionaries: Danny Danon is Putting Jews in Danger

(Excerpt)  Who is Danny Danon? He is a Jew of little or no faith, who believes that our keeping parts of Eretz Yisrael depends on numbers. He sees that there are not enough Jews so he wants to open the doors of our land to xians---as many as will come and by their own claims, it will be "millions"---to help us hold the land against the Arabs and the international community. What he doesn't understand is that he is inviting in the scorpion to replace the snake.

Joel Bell, missionary owner and founder of Frontline Israel:  "Danny, shalom brother! We are launching the World Likud and WEZ---World Evangelical Zionists---here in Israel. ...this is a vision that G-d put on Danny's heart to open the doorto evangelical Zionists, lovers of the Jewish people, the Land and the Torah, to come and get involved, to be activists here in the Land."

A webpage linked to Danny's response has been removed and Joel Bell disappeared with all the money raised by World Evangelical Zionists, but that didn't stop Danny.

2) He works with anti-Judaism J4Js: "Danny Be Careful": Playing with Messianic Fire (Jerusalem Observer, Dec. 9)

3) He is the great hope of those Christians who want Christian 'aliyah.'

(Excerpt from one of their newsletters)  As much as we love and appreciate Benjamin Netanyahu and all that he has done and is doing for Israel, and as important as it is that we continue to uphold him in prayer as long as he is in office, we also believe that it is time to pray for a new leadership to come forth in Israel. This is very important!

If Netanyahu continues with the peace negotiations to establish a second Arab Palestinian state on Israel’s heartland, it will most likely lead, not only to the break up of the present Government in Israel, but also to the breakup of his own Likud party. The result will be very ugly and painful for Israel. One leader waiting in the wings is Danny Danon. Daniel Pipes recently wrote in an article in Jerusalem Post called The Right Moment for Danny Dannon?

So, Danny Danon is a hero for both the Jewish Right and the Christian Right for speaking up for the physical integrity of the Land of Israel. But, what's more important than the land's physical integrity is its spiritual integrity.  Our history proves the words of our Torah which says that if we violate the spiritual integrity of the land, then we will lose it.

(Vayikra 18.24-28 ) You shall not defile yourselves by any of these things, for the nations, whom I am sending away from before you, have defiled themselves with all these things. And the land became defiled, and I visited its sin upon it, and the land vomited out its inhabitants. But as for you, you shall observe My statutes and My ordinances, and you shall not do like any of these abominations neither the native, nor the stranger who sojourns among you. For the people of the land who preceded you, did all of these abominations, and the land became defiled. And let the land not vomit you out for having defiled it, as it vomited out the nation that preceded you.

It's way past time to get our priorities straight and to recognize who our enemies are and engage in the battle for BOTH the spiritual AND the physical integrity of our Holy Land.

  1. It is SO important that you posted this!

    Please keep it up!

I know it's frustrating, at least for me it is.

But, do we have a choice?

    (sigh)

  2. Darn shame, because he seems to be in a position to remove netanyahu and make the positive changes that we need. But if those changes are tainted by xianity they are worthless.
On a seperate note about the rabbis that are helping the xian infiltrators......The originals Xians were frum Jews too - just cause a man is a rabbi, doesn't mean he is kosher.

  3. I don't see how bringing Rabbi Nachman to Israel is NOT a spiritual event. Wait to you see what kind of Pilgrims and even Olim, come to the grave of Rabbi Nachman next to King David!

  4. I don't see how bringing Rabbi Nachman to Mt. Zion is un-spiritual. I do think all religious people will recognize the Tzaddik Isod Olam as a higher form of Josef and yes in certain cases..Rachel might be able to stop crying finally.

  5. Villager, I don't see how your remarks relate to the subject, but it's my understanding that Rebbe Nachman is buried in or near a mass grave and can't be moved because they don't really know where he is in the midst of it all. I could be confused, but I'm pretty sure that's what someone tol
d me when I asked why they don't just bring him for burial in Eretz Yisrael.
