Second Day Chol ha'Moed

It really feels like the world is standing at the foot of a giant dam behind which tremendous pressure is building up day by day and right now, that dam is full of cracks that grow larger by the hour.  At some point, it's going to break, we just don't know when.  Only don't be surprised when it happens.  It's inevitable.

  2. It was only a rumor. Britain has no plan on sending troops to Ukraine.

    1. It was more than a "rumor" and stating "has no plan" is simply not true and is not borne out by the article you cite:

There are no immediate plans to deploy military instructors to Ukraine, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said on Sunday, rowing back from comments by his defence minister who had suggested troops could carry out training in the country.

...British defence minister Grant Shapps, who was appointed to the role last month, said in an interview with The Sunday Telegraph newspaper that he wanted to deploy military instructors to Ukraine, in addition to training Ukrainian armed forces in Britain or other Western countries.

..."What the defence secretary was saying was that it might well be possible one day in the future for us to do some of that training in Ukraine," Sunak told reporters

The British PM is trying to do damage control for his new Defense Secretary, but on such ill-advised public statements from such authoritative sources world wars can break out regardless of the ill-expressed intention.
