Are We Ready Yet?

20 Tishrei 5784
Moadim l'simchah!

Tonight/tomorrow is Hoshanah Rabbah - the final sealing of the fate which was decreed for each of us on Rosh Hashanah.  Are we ready for Mashiach yet?

That is the big question.  He is going to do some very unpopular things that are going to upset the nations and the turncoat Jews.  Are you ready for that?

Jewish destiny has already been decided and recorded by the Hebrew prophets thousands of years ago and neither Western culture, Western "values", nor Western-style democracy figures into it.
Hoshea 3:4-5 (Restoration of the Monarchy)

For the children of Israel shall remain for many days, having neither king, nor prince, nor sacrifice, nor pillar, nor ephod nor teraphim.

Afterwards shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God and David their king, and they shall come trembling to the Lord and to His goodness at the end of days.

Yeshayahu 27:9 (Elimination of Idolatrous False Religions)

Therefore, with this shall Jacob's iniquity be atoned for, and this is all the fruit of removing his sin; by making all the altar stones like crushed chalkstones; asherim and sun-images shall not rise.

It's shocking to see this and realize that we've done nothing to prevent it.  However, all legal avenues failed.  Until now.  This video is to be translated into Hebrew to be used as evidence to make a legal appeal to have the persons featured here plus their associates deported from our land with no possibility of return - EVER!

Meantime, if you come across any of these missionaries on the streets of our cities and towns, or on the train, you can contact Rav Shmuel of Ohr l'Achim at any time on this 24-hr hotline  - *9234 - and he will send someone to assist you.

DO NOT CALL THE POLICE!  If it is during regular business hours in Jerusalem, call the city inspectors (mefakeach ha'iryah) at #106.  They can prohibit the sound devices and ticket users.

Now you know how the Shechinah feels sitting here in the dust and dirt.  For HKB"H's sake, let's pray extra hard that the geulah comes on Hoshanah Rabbah.

  1. How can the geulah come this Hoshana Rabah? The Geulah is a very long progress. At best, if we merit, we will see MBY revealed. MBD comes much later. This is a process that will take many more years.

    1. Not necessarily. Ben

    2. If you read the last several blog posts here , you’ll see that Devorah explains that the Geulah doesn’t come before MBY does his work. Only once MBD comes (which is after MBY according to devorah), is when the Geulah can happen. We could be talking about something that is even 20-40 years away. No one knows.

    3. To make such a dogmatic statement such as "This is a process that will take many more years," doesn't require much, but to believe it, a person has to be blind!

Geulah is a process, but that process already started possibly as much as 250 years ago. (See the book The Gaon of Vilna and His Messianic Vision.) I personally believe that both MBY and MBD are here and already at work. They won't be identifiable with a certainty until the very end, which is fast approaching. (As Rambam says, a person can be suspected of being Mashiach but when he builds the Beit Hamikdash then we'll know for sure.) MBY and MBD work together at some point. We'll have a king and a Sanhedrin before the Temple is rebuilt. It makes sense that the dedication of the third temple would mark the completion of the geulah process, but we'll be living very happy lives prior to that point. Kind of like when we were still stuck in Egypt but the servitude was over. The process was not yet complete but life was already a whole lot better.

I expect a major shift to the next level imminently and I am very sorry if anything I've posted has led anyone to think any differently. "Mashiach can come any day" - even yesterday - and if you have the eyes to see it, you might even see him on Youtube! If that's not how you've imagined it up to now, maybe an adjustment of expectations is called for.

I hope this doesn't come off as rude. I don't mean it to be. But, I'm kind of shocked by the idea that you seriously think as much as 40 years from now. I don't think you have any idea what AI portends for humanity and how it's already advanced far beyond the point of no return. And Yahadut is getting close to it as well. Can it truly survive another generation? Not from what I see. Only a relative handful of Jews understands what authentic Yahadut is already.

    4. Yehudis your opinion is not consistent with halacha. A kohen in chutz la'arets at this moment is not allowed to drink wine because in less than 18 minutes from now he could be called upon to bring sacrifices in the third beis hamikdash in yerushalayim since the third beis hamikdash, and the geulah and the ingathering of the Jews
could already been established by Moshiach within that time (18minutes from now). That is the halacha. Ron

    5. Ron, that can't be right or no Cohen would be allowed to drink wine ever. And that is not the case. Something is not right. Check your source again.

    6. That is correct: kohanim are not allowed to drink wine during the time of galut, according to halacha, for that reason. Ron

    7. The 3rd temple can be rebuilt in one day by our righteous Melech HaMoshiach. Ron

  2. Absolutely sickening. What's worse but not surprising is the eruv rav government allowing it.

  3. Greetings good Jews !! We all owe a lot of gratitude to the Tomer Devorah site for standing up against all pressures to toe the party lines. Today this is rare, rare, rare . Chazak veamatz - Yehuda Richter

  4. It was to be expected. I mean the goyim just love any story that portrays Jews in a bad light (judged by their own warped standards, of course).

The "spitting attack" has gone viral and now they are "extremists" because G-d knows the majority of Jews are never going to follow the Torah injunction to despise and disdain false religions.

I'm reminded of the incident between Eliyahu HaNavi and the prophets of ba'al and how he mocked them for their efforts to get results from an idol. Cry louder, he called to them. Maybe he can't hear you. (I Kings 18) Lol!

But, I digress. Reports say that two more people have been arrested. Their holiday is shot to pieces - all these men and all their families and every good Jew who sympathizes and commiserates with them. But that's just what our enemies want. To destroy everything connected to Yahadut and thereby to destroy Yahadut itself. They are doomed to fail, but we still have to fight them.

I just saw another report that 5 IDF soldiers have been seriously wounded today. How do we know if each of these soldiers had been protected by the prayers of the 5 now in jail. Quite a 'coincidence.'

  5. Yehudis, please read the Rambam. Moshiach can come at any time. As for the geula being a long process, it has turned out to be exceedingly long, we are nearly 2000 years into the process. One day it will stop being a process, and become an event. No pregnancy can go on forever, even if it is late or post-term. The event gives rise to a new process, but it is an event nonetheless.

The Vilna Gaon said that every generation has its ketz. So there are many times when Moshiach could have come. We don't have to wait for any specific prediction. Yeshuat Hashem keheref ayin. The Rambam says no-one knows exactly how it will occur until it does.

Our thoughts affect reality. Hitorerut shel mata. Hashem will do what He wants, but our job is to truly WANT Moshiach today, regardless of nevuot, predictions, signs, elections, planets, whatever. Anything that weakens your ratzon for Moshiach today should be disregarded.

As for the "attack" there is nothing xns love more than being so-called victims, and if they can be "victims" of Jews, so much the better, in their minds scrubbing clean their nigh-on 2000 years of atrocities against us. In the meantime, day in day out, xn funded and supported Arabs continue ceaselessly in their quest to destroy us, chalila. Sometimes I think that xnty is a mental illness, project and blame.

The situation is so depressing with our leaders falling over themselves to condemn the 'attack' instead of standing up for Jewish pride. Xns are allowed to parade with a humungous in ya face cross in Yerushalayim, but Jews are not allowed to pray or have hakafot in public in TA. Be'emet haolam hafuch.

The only good that comes out of all of this is that Am Yisrael mitchazek beTorah, and it should strengthen our ratzon for Moshiach today.

    L.L.

  6. As far as I have always known, MBY can be one of the people rising to battle our enemies, but MBD, I believe, is an anointed one by Hashem and we cannot possibly know who he is and from where he comes; some even believe he can be Dovid HaMelech himself or another such tzadik who is already in Gan Eden. We pray that MBY shows up and fights the battles very soon which bring MBD. Some even say that they can be one and the same, MBY/MBD.
To Yehudis, one who truly yearns for the coming of Moshiach tzdkeinu, does not try to push off what could be immediate! We have never needed the Geulah as we do now. The whole world is in danger. We might really be no better than in the times before the great Flood of Noach, so, I believe, H' is hastening Redemption at lightning speed and we can see Moshiach either momentarily or maybe Pesach! May it be! Only Hashem knows!

    1. Moshiach can come the day after simchas torah or during simchas Torah or 2 days after simchas torah. It can come any day. It doesn’t say anywhere that it can only come during Sukkos or pesach.
