Parashat Behar

It is no coincidence that Parashat Behar, whose theme is so intimately intertwined with the Land of Israel and with the Jewish nation’s custodianship over the Land, is invariably read in the three-and-a-half week period between Yom Ha-Atzma’ut (Israel Independence Day) and Yom Herut Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Liberation Day).This is the parashah in which God decrees that the Land will return to its original owner. And this is the time of the year in which the Land – part of it, in the meantime – indeed returned to its true original owners.
Please Hashem, may the Prophet Yeshayahu's vision of the Third Messianic War return ALL the lands to your children once and for all time THIS YEAR AT THIS TIME!!! And may Shabbat peace reign over it all!!

ReplyDeleteI just ask how did we get here? Where are the citizens to stand up against the evil that is constantly being thrown at us. By not finishing the job as promised out loud before the world to erase the subhuman creatures that committed the most heinous of crimes but
then in a split moment, it's as if all this never happened and we are back to square one. If we do not wake up and cry out loud to Hashem
to save us and redeem us immediately, what will be?
Amaleik has taken over and we are commanded by Hashem,
