Painting the Target Around the Arrow

  30 Menachem Av 5780
    Rosh Chodesh Aleph

It's what the Christians have always done to make their false religion "fulfill" the prophecies of our Tanakh.  Now, they are even doing it with their Greek Testament. Their Book of Revelations is written in a kind of code using terms like beasts and dragons.  That makes it easy for people to identify it in any way that is convenient for them to understand.

It says in one place that the "second beast" would have the power to force all people, "great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast, or the number of its name."  And then it tells you what the number is - "666."

Christian End-of-Days authors, seeing the technology being unveiled, began in the eighties to claim that the bar code was this mark, and then it was RFID chips, and next it will be Quantum Dots or Nanowire Ink.

Of course, they simply ignore those pesky preceding verses that claim the "beast" performs great signs and wonders to deceive the inhabitants of earth - even to calling down fire from Heaven - and that he causes all to worship the "first beast" who had miraculously survived a fatal head wound.  Even though none of that has happened (nor likely ever will), since the "beast" at the top of the Christian food chain is behind it all, he is in the best position to "paint the target around this arrow."  They always conveniently ignore what doesn't fit and focus attention on what can be made to fit.  This is how Christian prophecy gets "fulfilled."

You might say they experimented with a "mark" the last go around, but back then, they were just getting started.

"Beginning in 1941,...registration consisted of a tattoo, which was placed on the left breast of the prisoner; later, the tattoo location was moved to the inner forearm. It was not only Jews who were marked: all prisoners other than ethnic Germans and police prisoners were tattooed. These tattoos were just one of the ways in which the Nazis dehumanized their prisoners. Despite the perception that all Holocaust prisoners were given tattoos, it was only the prisoners of Auschwitz after 1941 who were branded this way."   (Source)

On the other hand, the Hebrew prophet Yechezkel (chapter 9) records that those destined for survival when Jerusalem was invaded received a mark on their foreheads.

And the Lord said to him, "Pass through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and you shall mark a sign upon the foreheads of the men who are sighing and moaning over all the abominations that were done in its midst." [Rashi: You shall mark a sign on the foreheads of the righteous men in order to be for a sign that the destroyers should not strike them.]

And tefillin is worn on the forehead and on the arm and hand.  ["And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for ornaments between your eyes." Devarim 6:8]

To require a symbol of submission to the "State" or "NWO" to be displayed in the very places where loyalty to HKB"H is displayed would be their way of mocking God.

The first time I had to have my temperature taken to enter a shop a few months ago, they aimed a scanner of some sort at my forehead, but today, only the second time I've been required to submit to this scan, they pointed it at my hand.  I can't for the life of me figure out how they can read body temperature accurately this way.  These being the two most easily accessible parts of the body made me wonder if it's not more about getting us all accustomed  to being scanned in these areas for when they roll out the required universal biometric ID.

I don't think it will come to that, but I don't doubt for one moment that is what they want and what they have planned.  If Hashem let's them get that far, there will be a choice, a difficult choice for sure, but we will have Mashiach with us to give us direction.  This is likely where we all have to head to the desert and eat broomroots for 45 days.

Just remember, the righteous remain in this world to enjoy the messianic era.  It is the reshaim who are taken out of it!

  1. I admire your passion in doing what you do, and your drive in getting the message across. Do you not though think or feel that the time has come for the Jews to become the actual lights for the nations and literally BEGIN the process of teaching them the 7 Mitzvot Noach? Because otherwise it's like beating a dead horse. I really like the saying: *if they knew better, they'd do better*. Look at who they had as leaders and *teachers*. Everyone that could and did lead them astray. It's time we began our work. Let's start. I envision billboards everywhere with the basics. Chodesh Tov.

  2. Where does it say “ . If Hashem let's them get that far, there will be a choice, a difficult choice for sure, but we will have Mashiach with us to give us direction. This is likely where we all have to head to the desert and eat broomroots for 45 days. “
I read a reference to this, but don’t know the source.
I wonder if this is so, maybe we need to run to the desert (prepare your bug-out bag) because like with Sodom and the five cities, it will rain down fire and brimstone on the corrupt cities of the world, leaving behind only the righteous?

  3. Bluestar, you find me among the 613 mitzvot where it says Jews need to go to the goyim and teach them the sheva mitzvot. That makes missionaries out of us. Instead, the prophetic vision says they hear about our reputation and come to us to inquire. And that's how it was during King Shlomo's reign. And how it will be once again when we have MBD as our leader.

Right now, we've got nothing to show them because they are ruling over us. We are the mirror image of them. When we have solved our own problems first, then we can fix the world and strangely enough, when we have solved our own problems the world will already be a far ways toward being fixed!

However, we are still at the first step - getting our thinking straight.

  4. Neshama...

The last 45 days of Chevlei Moshiach will be more difficult than the first days. The troubles of those final days will move the community of Israel to do complete teshuva, and, thereby, they will be privileged to merit the geula.

Rav Avrohom Azulai wrote (Chessed leAvrohom, Maayan 5, Nahar 35): "The troubles shall increase as they never did before.... These are the 45 days in the future when Israel will go out of Jerusalem to be in the desert of the nations of the world, just as Lot was displaced during the upheaval of Sedom, when he was not able to save even a small piece of bread, and he was rushed out into the desert. Actually, the troubles of Israel will be in a very similar manner. Bnei Yisroel will be dispersed throughout the desert, and all the troubles that Israel ever experienced will not be like these troubles.... There, Israel shall count 45 days... they will eat only salty roots that they will find in the desert, and then they will all repent there. Those who cannot stand it will go to the nations of the world, and be destroyed with them. The rest will have their share of suffering, each according to the measure of his sin. The tzaddikim will be grateful for the salty roots in their stomachs, as if it were mon, and they will become stronger in their belief and trust in HaShem; the mediocre ones will do teshuva; the evil ones will turn away, or will repent and be remorseful."

...These are the words of the prophet (Daniel 12:1): "And at that time... it shall be a time of trouble like never before, from the time you became a nation until the present, and, in this time, Your nation shall escape...."

...The Chessed LeAvrohom describes the great and tumultuous events that will occur at the time of the redemption (Maayan 5, Nahar 35): "And, immediately, the dying ones in the desert will rise up, and the salvation will sprout. The Shechina will arise out of her dust... and, immediately, the redeemed ones will come to the rebuilt Jerusalem and the rebuilt Beis HaMikdash, and the Shechina will come with them and dwell in the Beis HaMikdash. The Holy One Blessed Be He will grab the corners of the world and shake out the evil ones from it, and, thereby, there will be no joy except in HaShem, as it is written, 'This is the day that HaShem took action, we shall celebrate and rejoice in it!' Amen, thus shall be HaShem's will."

  5. Thank you very much.
We could take this as literal, but may I suggest, and it would need a Kabbala expert to discern:

Question: what does it mean “desert of the nations of the world”? (the non believing ones)
AND could this not be sodl?: "Actually, the troubles of Israel will be in a very similar manner. Bnei Yisroel will be dispersed throughout the desert, and all the troubles that Israel ever experienced will not be like these troubles.... There, Israel shall count 45 days... they will eat only salty roots that they will find in the desert, and then they will all repent there”

“throughout the desert” meaning the non-Jewish nations?

The “45 days” could be years?

“salty roots” not sure this reference (may be the ’sparks’ dispersed),
but “repent there” could mean doing teshuva in chu”l

“Those who cannot stand it will go to the nations of the world, and be destroyed with them” could mean the assimilated (lost) ones.

I believe this all is kabbalistic. After all it is Rav Azulai, famed Kabbalist wiki

  6. Realizing that a call to teach Torah to non-Jews is sure to raise eyebrows in the world of mainstream Judaism, HaRav Ginsburgh insists that the emergency measure it is no different than Torah breakthroughs of the past. He explains that the Prophets of Israel long ago told us that this orientation would change when the nations would flock to Jerusalem to learn the word of Hashem, (Isaiah, 2:3; and see Zephania, 3:9). “We have already been commanded to teach non-Jews the Seven Mitzvot of Bnei Noach, (see the Laws of Kings, 8:10), something the Lubavitch Rebbe emphasized and which his followers practice. But for the peoples of the world to recognize that Judaism is the true word of Hashem, and the source of whatever sparks of truth which other religions contain, they must be exposed to the endless expanses of Torah wisdom, both the inner dimensions of Kabbala and the revealed, down-to-earth guidelines for life.”

  7. Bluestar, In my opinion, based on my (albeit meager) learning, these are dangerous and erroneous ideas.

  8. Bluestar, I'd like to add some words of explanation for the opinion above. The four "revolutions" in Torah study that Rabbi Ginsburgh talks about were not brought about by a rise in stature of the Jewish people. Just the opposite. They were events brought on by the degradation of the Jewish people.

    1) Torah sh'b'al peh written down - the IDEAL was that it remain oral. Only because we sinned and were wxiled did it necessitate writing it down and that was as tragedy for us because it allowed anyone to access it.

    2) Rabbis allowed to make parnassah from their Torah - does this really need any explanation? How has the Torah been cheapened among the rabbanim due to their dependence on it for parnassah? How are they tempted to pervert it in order to keep the funds flowing??

    3) Women may engage in formal Torah learning - brought about as a result of increasing secular educational opportunities for women. Which has now brought us to "Orthodoxy" advocating for smichah for women. And delayed marriage and childbearing!

    4) Teaching Torah to gentiles - following on the other three, this has come about through our debasement while most of the rabbis involved with gentiles do not insist that they first give up their idolatry but declare them "righteous" even as they pray in the name of their false god. It wasn't bad enough that Jews were assimilating among the gentiles,
now we have reached a place where gentiles (the vast majority still fully Christians) are assimilating among Jews - going to the synagogue, dressing, acting and talking like religious Jews and now seeking to live right in our midst!

You can't quote the prophecies of the conditions that will exist only in the messianic era and say they apply to this sorry situation today. That time has not yet arrived and when it does, it will be because of our rise in spiritual stature, not because we have sunk so low.

I don't care what big name rabbi says it - all the more reason you have to question it because the yetzer hara goes after the big names so he can mislead all the more who follow them blindly.

Of course, you are free to believe whatever you wish. The author of the book cited claims these 45 days follow at the end of the 9 months of global rule by Edom. He was taking the time frame literally as 9 months and 45 days.

As to the meaning of "the desert of the nations of the world," I think the rest of the sentence explains it.

These are the 45 days in the future when Israel will go out of Jerusalem to be in the desert of the nations of the world, just as Lot was displaced during the upheaval of Sedom, when he was not able to save even a small piece of bread, and he was rushed out into the desert.

"The desert of the nations of the world" is called this because it is a creation of the nations of the world. It is a place, in Eretz Yisrael, that we will have to escape to in order to survive because of what the nations of the world have done. And our escape is expected to be sudden and fierce.

Apparently, our deliverance from the desert will be equally sudden and momentous:

The Shechina will arise out of her dust... and, immediately, the redeemed ones will come to the rebuilt Jerusalem and the rebuilt Beis HaMikdash, and the Shechina will come with them and dwell in the Beis HaMikdash. The Holy One Blessed Be He will grab the corners of the world and shake out the evil ones from it, and, thereby, there will be no joy except in HaShem,....

This is not a situation that can be described as ongoing during the recent past or present in my humble opinion. It sounds like it is the very final birur and absolute last chance for teshuvah. But, please, believe whatever you want.

  10. How does one account for the above scenario when IIRC we are also expected to elect a king, destroy Amalek from under heaven and build through Beit HaMikdash in that particular order?

  11. The source for the 45 days in the desert is much earlier than Rav Avraham Azulai ZTVK"L.

It's found in Bemidbar Rabba 11:2, for example.

  12. Without talking to Rav Azulai, ztz"l, I can only make a wild guess. My guess would be that this is what happens when we reach geulah b'ita. We run out of time before accomplishing the tasks that were set for us, so HKB"H does it.

...truth is lacking, and he who turns away from evil is considered mad, and the Lord saw and was displeased for there is no justice.

And He saw that there was no man, and He was astounded for there was no intercessor, and His arm saved for Him, and His righteousness, that supported Him.

And He donned righteousness like a coat of mail, and a helmet of salvation is upon His head, and He donned garments of vengeance as His attire, and He was clad with zeal as a cloak.

According to their deeds, accordingly He shall repay, fury to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies; to the islands He shall pay recompense.

And from the west they shall fear the name of the Lord, and from the rising of the sun, His glory, for distress shall come like a river; the spirit of the Lord is wondrous in it.

And a redeemer shall come to Zion, and to those who repent of transgression in Jacob, says the Lord.

  13. Fantastic, Devash. Agree with both you and Samson! Believe we have been so long in galut and our mindsets are very, very similar to the non-Jews being so assimilated within their midst that even though many are religious Jews, they do think the same way as non-Jews do in most areas of life, except in Jewish law, which is r'l, constantly being watered down. We must make it understood, especially to many of the Chabad groups that it is not our purpose and only when individually non-Jews ask to be converted (sincere ones have Jewish neshamot). The Seven Mitzvot of Noach is okay for us to advertise & promote, in a way, because those are Laws from H' to them that they are obligated to obey; thereby, we can be of help!

  14. Understand, it was the following that immediately came to mind.

The Gemara says, "Israel was commanded with three precepts when they entered the Land: To appoint a King; to annihilate the seed of Amalek; and to build Hashem's chosen house. And the Gemara continues, And how do I know which comes first? You have to say raise up a King. And how do I know whether to build the Temple first, or to annihilate the seed of Amalek? You have to say first annihilate the seed of Amalek. The Gemara is speaking of the initial entry into the Land and of the construction of the first temple, but the Rambam decides that this is generally true. 'Israel was commanded with three precepts upon entering the Land...the King's appointment precedes the war with Amalek, and the annihilation of Amalek precedes the building of the Temple.' This is a clear order not a haphazard arrangement."

Now one could say is it our fault for allowing things to get to this point where Heaven intervenes on our behalf even if Rambam says the Geulah is a natural process entailing that amongst other things the Nations no longer have power over Israel and the Jewish people.

Yet such a stance is too simple and rather unfair to condemn and hold people to unrealistic standards without taking into account the circumstances considering the multi-generational forces pitted against the Jewish people and the various plots they have initiated against us, not to mention the 2+ millenia of suffering since Hashem is only supposed to give his people trials they able to overcome which is certainly not the case here and inevitably brings us to questions of theodicy - short of Hashem accelerating the Geulah in his time by causing the Nations to further violate their part of the Three Oaths.

  15. Jesterhead (Pt 2)

On the other hand, there is no reason to think that with Mashiach at our head and the control of Edom being destroyed, we would not then "immediately" upon our return to Yerushalayim BEGIN to enact this entire process and each stage progresses one right after the other without stopping until looking back over history, it really does look to be an "immediate" occurrence.

    Chodesh tov and Shabbat shalom!!
