In historic declaration, Israel and United Arab Emirates agree to normalize ties
Israel and the United Arab Emirates reached an historic agreement on Thursday to set up full diplomatic relations between the two countries, the third such deal the Jewish state has struck with an Arab country after Egypt and Jordan.In other words, Israel is to act like any other western nation, to put business and profits above all - a la Eisav - and give up any notions of ever returning to and fulfilling her national destiny as an Am Kadosh.
...Announcing the deal, US President Donald Trump wrote on Twitter: “HUGE breakthrough today. Historic Peace Agreement between our two GREAT friends, Israel and the United Arab Emirates!”
...The UAE’s de facto ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, issued a more circumspect statement on Twitter, saying “The UAE and Israel also agreed to cooperation and setting a roadmap towards establishing a bilateral relationship.”
However the nation’s foreign minister was more direct, acknowledging that “the UAE is employing its decision for normal relations with Israel.”
He said the country was doing so “With courageous initiative, to preserve the chances of a two-state solution,” and added that the nation “calls for the resumption of negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis, and is committed to working with friends to establish security and ensure the stability of the region.”
...“This normalization of relations and peaceful diplomacy will bring together two of America’s most reliable and capable regional partners. Israel and the United Arab Emirates will join with the United States to launch a Strategic Agenda for the Middle East to expand diplomatic, trade, and security cooperation.”
“As a result of this diplomatic breakthrough and at the request of President Trump with the support of the United Arab Emirates, Israel will suspend declaring sovereignty over areas outlined in the President Vision for Peace and focus its efforts now on expanding ties with other countries in the Arab and Muslim World,” the statement added.
"These are the statutes and ordinances that you shall keep to perform in the land which the Lord God of your fathers gives you to possess all the days that you live on the earth. You shall utterly destroy from all the places where the nations, that you shall possess, worshipped their gods, upon the lofty mountains and upon the hills, and under every lush tree. And you shall tear down their altars, smash their monuments, burn their asherim with fire, cut down the graven images of their gods, and destroy their name from that place." (Devarim 12:1-2)
And so shall we do, despite ALL our enemies - including especially those who pose as "friends" - with Mashiach Tzidkeinu at the head of our nation!!!

But sources in the Evangelical community told The Jerusalem Post that they cared much more about bringing peace in the Middle East than changing the status of barren hilltops.

[Johnnie] Moore and [Joel] Rosenberg were part of the first delegation of Evangelical leaders to the United Arab Emirates in October 2018 during which talk about normalization of ties occurred, and they took part in many subsequent meetings throughout the region. As Evangelicals, they said, those meetings always included an additional subtext, sometimes overt and sometimes inferred, because Evangelicals, nearly 800 million of them, are known to be devoted and loyal friends of the State of Israel.
“Our vibrant, global and influential Christian movement not only represents one of the most important constituencies to the presidents of many countries, including the United States, we are also a type of global firewall against antisemitism, and its latest iteration in anti-Zionism,” Moore said.
But he said that the Evangelicals’ commitment to peace-making has successfully made them allies with Arab governments combating extremism and served as an effective bridge builder between Arab communities and their Jewish neighbors.

Protecting Christians in the Middle East is an important part of the nascent peace deal America has brokered between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, US President Donald Trump told reporters in Washington late Thursday as he clarified that West Bank annexation was off the table right now.
“Christians have been persecuted by some countries in particular in the Middle East. This [the UAE deal] is a big start, It is going to be a strong start, a very powerful start” toward protecting Christians in the Middle East, Trump said.
“If you look at the way Christians have been treated in some countries, it is beyond disgraceful. If I had information and if I had absolute proof of some of the stories we have heard, which is not easy to get, I would go in and do a number to those countries, like you would not believe,” Trump said.
As a result protecting Christians in the Middle East would also be a component of future deals that would be signed between Israel and other countries in the region, he clarified.
Christianity “is a very big part of the overall negotiation. As countries come in, the UAE has agreed very strongly to represent us, I think will, very well, with respect to Christianity, because in the Middle East it is not treated well. It is treated horribly and very unfairly,” Trump said. The president also attempted to clarify some of the confusion with regard to any Israeli plans to annex portions of the West Bank.

Psyche Op to instill fear in the hearts of the Jews envisioning hoardes of Sheikhs swarming over the Temple Mount from the farthest reaches of the planet. Because there weren't enough problems for the Jews thus far. And the Palis have been righteously played. No longer collateral, they have nothing to bargain for, they no longer serve a purpose, and that isn't sitting well with their leaders. Negative attention is the way they'll go. Being literal thorns in our thighs and eyes. That's just the icing for this whole shebang because everyone knows that underneath every *agreement* is the plan for destabilization. So as far as the Erev Rav are concerned, it's a brilliant plan.
