The Death of Mashiach Ben Yosef - Part 2

23 Adar Bet 5784

...the first to predict the rise of a secular Jewish state as prelude to the coming of the Messiah is Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel of Prague (1525-1609) known as "Maharal", in his discussion of the rise of "the Kingdom of the Messiah".

Maharal affirms that the coming of the Messiah is not, as often thought a sudden event; it is a process. The "Holy kingdom of Israel" - Maharal's term for the reign of the Messiah will emerge from an earlier, non-holy kingdom.

The Midrash states: Just as Moshe, who was destined to break the power of Pharaoh, was brought up in Pharaoh's palace, so the Messiah, who is destined to settle accounts with Edom, will live with them in their city. The ultimate failure of the empire of Edom will give rise to a new and different kingdom - the Kingdom of the Messiah... (From "Who is the Messiah?" By Rabbi Aryeh Carmell)
We may recall in days and years to come that the 21st day of Adar was the day the decree was issued - the AG's decree to draft Torah learners and stop the transfer of State funds to the yeshivot - and which has likely instead decided the fate of the State and its Erev Rav regime.  Venahafoch hu!  What they intended for us will come upon their own heads.

Like the final plague on Egypt which was decided before Moshe Rabbeinu even left Midian:

The Lord said to Moses, "When you go to return to Egypt, see all the signs that I have placed in your hand and perform them before Pharaoh, but I will strengthen his heart, and he will not send out the people.  And you shall say to Pharaoh, 'So said the Lord, "My firstborn son is Israel." '   So I say to you, 'Send out My son so that he will worship Me, but if you refuse to send him out, behold, I am going to slay your firstborn son.' " (Shemot 4:21-23)
Developments over the past 24 hours...

“As is known, the Rav said many times in the name of HaGaon HaRav Elyashiv, z’tl, that the zechus of the existence of the State is only in the zechus that it supports mosdos Torah. And the public is afraid – who knows what will be now? And they want to hear divrei chizuk and hadracha from the Rav.”

Uncharacteristically, HaRav Zilberstein wrote a very brief response: “Limmud Torah is what protects us and we have nothing left but this Torah.”

He then wrote: “Writing and signing with a broken heart” – and signed his name.

This one merit may have been the only thing keeping the State, under the rule of the Erev Rav regime, in power.

Following the display yesterday in Meah Shearim, after months of trying, Iranian forces in Iraq finally managed to deliver a strike on a significant target in Eilat...

If my analysis is right, it won't wait now.
I think it has already begun.
