In the year 1000, Christendom expected the return of their failed Messiah to complete the job he did not do the first time. The Crusades to liberate Jerusalem and the Holy Land from the infidel Muslims started 95 years later. It would seem that the church decided it was not enough to wait and hope for his return, they would have to do something to aid and abet it. They began to believe that J***s would not come and establish a kingdom on earth without their help. He was waiting for his followers to do it and then he would come back to rule over it.
It's critical to understand that Christian beliefs can be adjusted or change over time in relationship to the circumstances that exist at any point in time.
This is not unlike what happened at the end of the 19th century as Jews began returning to the Land of Israel. The Church took it as a necessary sign of the second coming and interest in Jewish evangelism began to take root.
The Brownsville Mission to the Jews was formed in 1894 by Leopold Cohn, a Jewish immigrant who converted to Christianity. In 1924, the organization of Jews who had converted to Christianity changed its name to "American Board of Missions to the Jews" (ABMJ). In 1984, the name was changed again to its current name, "Chosen People Ministries."Jews for Jesus was founded by Moishe Rosen, a Baptist minister of the Hebrew Christian movement who was previously a member of the American Board of Missions to the Jews (ABMJ). The organization was formed in 1970 under the name Hineni Ministries as a subsidiary group of the ABMJ.
When Jews for J***s started, it seemed all the evangelical efforts were paying off. It appeared that Jews were about to begin converting en masse just as they'd hoped. Adherents like to say that more Jews had converted in the past few decades than had done in the past 20 centuries combined.
Meantime, as with early Christianity, Gentiles began joining by the droves and soon outnumbered the Jews. That's when it turned from J4J to Messianic. Then the Ephraimites broke away to do their own thing and the Hebrew Roots movement got started in the evangelical churches, and that in turn, led to huge growth in so-called Christian Zionism and inspired even more interest in the Land of Israel. Soon, there was an exponential growth in organized Christian tourism.
The Messianic "believers" in Israel saw an opportunity, as did settlement "leaders," and crass Israeli politicians. Thus began the mad rush to claim Christian dollars and political influence. Thus began the interfaith alliances and interactions which would see Jews and Gentiles (idolaters no less) in bed together in the Land of Israel and the election of a US president on the basis of what he would do "for Israel." A deal had been struck with the devil and we are just now becoming aware of its true cost.
This is so terrifying. I knew there were missionaries here I don't think I realized the extent of the problem. How deeply they have infested our country. I feel a burning level of fury..they are deceitful and twisted like the nachash in Gan Eden. What liars and thieves they are..you would think our fellow Jewish have some conscious national memory of how much we suffered at the hands of these murderous animals. Xian Europe is soaked with the blood of Jewish people...Shoah, Pogroms Crusades ect. The name of Yushka should make a Jew shudder and cringe with abhorence. I am truly sickened by this. What can we do to stop this or at least mitigate some of the damage?

DeleteThis is the spiritual war that we have to fight before Moshiach. Everything comes from HaShem and we need to hold on to H-m for dear life. Thanks for letting people know that we have so many snakes among us hope they wake up who are not strong enough to withstand this evil.

I only saw part of the video, but so far...
ReplyDelete1. We are so confused as a people. Former Speaker of the Knesset and proud carrier of a French/EU passport Avraham Burg came out against taking money from collected by Eckstein, but for the completely wrong reasons: "...because it will will incite war between Muslims and Jews." He's not wrong, but this idea of this alliance vs. that alliance with non-Jews is SO off track.
2. Did you see Eckstein's face? So smug. So superior.
3. Tomer Devorah states above: "It's critical to understand that Christian beliefs can be adjusted or change over time in relationship to the circumstances that exist at any point in time."
This is the crux (no pun intended) of the matter. Throughout Bereishit, Esau changes strategies according to what he believes he needs to conquer Ya'aqov. He begs, he negotiates, he pursues to kill, he embraces, whatever it takes. We've seen the parallels throughout history: Crusades, Inquisition, pogroms, and now The Kiss of Esau.
Tactics are changing once again. The 'kisses' are done. When you get to the end of that video, you will get a glimpse of where it is heading now.
