A Solstice Solar Eclipse Is About To Happen

...On Saturday, June 20, 2020, the solstice will occur as the Earth's north pole reaches its maximum tilt towards the Sun. Just 9 hours later, the Moon will pass perfectly between the Earth and the Sun, creating an annular solar eclipse for a myriad of observers across Africa and Asia. It's an incredibly rare occurrence to have a solstice solar eclipse,....

The solar eclipse occurring on the June solstice of this year, 2020, occurs precisely 19 years after the last solar eclipse on a solstice: June 21, 2001 [30 Sivan!].
We know that these events are intended as signs for the world and that solar eclipses are significant for the nations.  Considering that the attack of 9/11 happened three months after the previous such eclipse, we have to wonder if this one will have a matching bookend to finish out this period of history.  Is it a sign of something really big coming again around 23 Elul this year?

  1. The bottom of this page suggests that if a solar eclipse occurs in Tamuz (and this solar eclipse is based on the invisible moon of Rosh Hodesh Tamuz), there will be many wars. We will see what happens.

  2. ...regarding the solar eclipse - it's still Sivan by every definition.

  3. The solar symbolizes edom.
    The lunar symbolizes Israel.
The fact that the lunar is eclipsing the solar is a sign that an Yisraels strength is waxing.
Edom (rome aka america) must fall for Israel to ascend (yerushalayim aka am Yisrael).

We should not fear the end of edom. In fact we should welcome the fall of the last kingdom of golus. This has to take place.

I await the rise of moshiach ben Yosef.

The Molad of Tamuz is very much related to the solar eclipse. I believe that is the intent of the sefer. Therefore, I still strongly believe that the statement stands.

  5. yaak - good point that the molad for Tammuz was on Sunday. Presumably the molad is very much astrologically related to the month and what transpires in "the heavens"...
