  1. Quotes from this evening's news outlets...

The IDF has announced that it will soon be holding its largest exercise ever, simulating a full month of battle on Israel's north and south borders and sustained rocket fire against internal targets. Chief of Staff Kochavi has dubbed the exercise 'Chariots of Fire', and announced that he does not intend to delay it despite heightened tensions throughout Israel.

Hamas calls for mass occupation of Temple Mount

The IDF has issued instructions that in light of greater than usual tensions in Judea and Samaria and an expectation of violent altercations in the near future, troops on guard throughout the area are to exercise greater than usual caution and restraint.

Alongside multiple disturbances in Jerusalem, border guards report unrest in Hebron.

Palestinian media reports disturbances at multiple checkpoints near Shechem.

Palestinians attacked Jews living in area of Shimon Hatzadik Kever in Jerusalem on Thursday night. A Jewish-owned vehicle was torched, and rocks and bottles thrown at the Jewish residents. Jewish residents claim Police refused to respond to their calls for help tonight, and have reportedly taken matters into their own hands. It appears that residents opened fire at Palestinians who attacked them, finally prompting police to respond.

Israel’s security establishment is preparing for several critical days in Jerusalem that could determine whether the country sees a return to calm or a major conflagration, according to media reports Saturday.

Police and the military were bracing for renewed violence a day after Jerusalem saw some of the city’s worst violence for years, with 200 Palestinians and 17 Israeli police officers wounded as hundreds rioted in the Temple Mount and cops broke into the compound to quell the unrest.

Channel 12 reported there are acute alerts of potential terror attacks in the West Bank and Jerusalem in the coming days, after a week that has seen a deadly shooting attack, a failed shooting attack on soldiers and repeated clashes in the capital that have left dozens of policemen and hundreds of Palestinians wounded.

  2. I'll repeat this here in case you missed it on the Shabbat post. I think TPTB turn the Arabs off and on according to their own agenda. They've turned them on now because they are ready to start moving in. They intend the violence to escalate to the point that the whole world is screaming for them to intervene. The word "genocide" is already being bounced around and most people are more than eager to buy into that narrative. Our non-government will prove non-effective and the UN will be 'forced' to send in peacekeepers. Then, it's just a hop, skip and a jump until they insist the only way to ensure all religious rights in Jerusalem is to internationalize it under UN supervision. It's a no-brainer since they've been harping on this for 80 years at least.

What they don't yet understand, apparently, is that the Arabs can only be controlled so far and then they are out of control and this Yishmaelite nature actually works to our benefit, although painfully.

I'm not saying at all that they will succeed, only that I believe this is their game plan, but HKB"H has a different plan in mind and it involves our righteous Mashiach.

  3. The Palestinians have succeeded in turning the dispute over the ownership of a number of houses in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah into a major crisis that has now caught the attention of the United Nations, the European Union and the US administration, as well as several countries and local and foreign media organizations.

This is from a JPost report but note that there is no "dispute" as the courts already ruled the property does indeed belong to Jews and the squatters have to move out. In any other country on earth, this would not be the subject of international interest or commentary.

  4. (TOI) The international community, including Israel's Arab allies, condemned the Jewish state Saturday for the violence in Jerusalem a day earlier that saw 200 Palestinians and 17 Israeli police officers wounded, as well as for pending evictions of Palestinians in East Jerusalem's Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood

  5. See?

Jerusalem’s on fire, and it’s poised to spread in Israel, Gaza and the West Bank

The Israel Police have failed to contain the violence in the capital — the worst in at least 4 years — and the country’s political leadership is nowhere to be found

  7. This is Redemption-In-Its-Time. Like Shabbat, it comes regardless of whether we are ready for it or not. And nothing and nobody can stop it or delay it.
