God help us and save us from today's Hellenists!!!

...As part of strengthening the relationship between the State of Israel and the Jewish People in the Diaspora, Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, together with dozens of Jewish and Zionist organizations, will inaugurate a new tradition – a March of Solidarity with Diaspora Jewry.

About 5,000 marchers from varied backgrounds will join the parade, including: soldiers, university students, high school students and youth movement members; members of organizations working in cooperation with the Diaspora Jewry, members of Knesset, Israeli government ministers and honored guests from Israel and abroad.

...The parade will include marching bands, huge floats that will feature displays from the Jewish world, enormous displays, and gala performances by Netchi Netch and Matisyahu. The parade will also includes floats from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.   (Source)

  1. Thats the problem with Israeliut. It lacks an internal ideological core, a spirit so to speak. Early on in the Zionist movement, the Israelis made a heroic attempt at creating an Israeli culture. They had poets, actors, philosophers and all sorts of bright, creative types. But this attempt at creating a culture out of thin air failed. Just like the new "Soviet man" failed for the same reason. Culture develops over time. Culture cannot be invented by bureaucrats or philosophers.

Judaism and the Jewish nation developed from the Avos and Imahos, Yezias Mizraim, har Sinai and other seminal events in TaNAcH and Jewish history. This is the polar opposite of Israeliut which is an invention out of thin air less than a century ago.

How does this tie in with yet another Goyish parade in Israel? Basically, the medinah is constantly inventing silly additions to the Israeli culture to fulfill an existential gap that deep down Israeliut can never fulfill. Hence the need for a parade "just like in New York".

  2. It just gets more sickening. About politics, we are close to an upheaval that could pave the way for Mashiach to gain control and begin his work. However as much as I’d like that, I believe he will not show until the prophecy of Yishmael and Eisav coming against Yisrael occurs.

  3. This is a total waste of time. This event will be forgotten in a month.

  4. Firstly, parades are so not a Jewish thing. Secondly, the State really thinks it's a mini US. They are so far removed from anything that is close to Yiddishkeit that if they keep going down that road, better to not even think about it. But, this descent is part of getting closer to geulah. In the meantime, it's very depressing.
