Yishmael Cannot Be Controlled

      Shavua Tov!

A committee at the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday passed with overwhelming majorities a series of resolutions critical of Israel, lambasting the Jewish state, among other things, for ostensible human rights violations against Palestinians and “repressive measures” against Syrians in the Golan Heights.

The three Arab countries with which Jerusalem recently signed normalization agreements — the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan — did not change their traditional voting pattern and supported all resolutions critical of Israel.
When Israel heard "normalization," they erroneously thought "normal" from our perspective, but it turns out it is "normal" the way Europe "normally" acts towards us.  So much for the great benefits of the Abraham Accords!

Yishmael (the Arabs and Muslim nations) cannot be controlled and C-O-N-T-R-O-L is what the New World Order (Seder Olami Chadash) is all about.

Opposite Qualities

Our Sages have revealed to us that Yishmoel and Edom represent the two roots of evil.

Edom demonstrates its evil potential through the attribute of orderliness [seder], particularly in their so-called "culture." Seder [orderliness] is a product of the attribute of building: the ability to take separate parts and fashion them together in order to fulfill a uniform purpose or to meet a particular goal. Arrogance is a natural outgrowth of this quality (as can be found in the regime of Nazi Germany and in other nations associated with Edom). We have explained above (Chapter 4), that arrogance is the main character trait of Edom.

At the other end of the spectrum is the manner in which Yishmoel activates his evil potential, by means of chaotic destruction and elimination of orderliness (see Chapter 2). As is written in the Torah (Bereishis 16:12), "And he will be a wild [pere] person, his hand on everything and everyone's hand upon him." Rashi explains (ibid.): "'His hand on everything - they are thieves. 'And everyone's hand is upon him' - Everyone hates them and antagonizes them."

Pere versus Seder

We thus see that these two nations, Edom and Yishmoel, have diametrically opposed characteristics - seder/order versus pere/wildness.
Therefore, when they rise up and take action, it is only "natural" that it results in their clashing with each other. Clearly, this is the ostensible reason for the antagonism between Edom and Yishmoel at the beginning of the war of Gog and Magog.

Let us delve deeper into this issue. The Ramchal (in his sefer on the Torah Bamidbar) writes that the war of Gog and Magog will bring about the nullification of the forces of evil in this world. This is the reason, writes Rav Yitzchak Isaac Chaver, that immediately prior to their elimination, these two forces will attempt to strengthen their position by provoking the opposite force. They will both strengthen themselves to the maximum extent possible, before they are completely removed from the world! This follows the natural order of things in this world. We know, for example, that a candle's light becomes greater just before it is extinguished (Biurei Aggodos, Afikei Yam on Sanhedrin 98b).

If it is a fact, as it is being reported in some places, that the Abraham Accords is all about forming a coalition of Arab states to follow the US into a war with Iran, they'd better act fast.  These Yishmaelim will not be able to pretend for very long.

  1. A US under a Biden administration will not go to war against Iran unless attacked. I expect to see appeasement not hostility. Where does this leave our budding relationship with Ishmael? All the promoters of this illusion will be replaced in January.
