Who Are the "Kurds"?

11 Tishrei 5780

This controversy about the Kurds has nothing whatever to do with Jews or Israel.  Ayelet Shaked is remiss in making public statements in regard to Israeli support for the Kurds.

Certain Western powers made certain promises for certain favors in the past and that's between them and the Kurdish people.  The Kurds are ethnically Persian and religiously Muslims.  The PKK wants their new country to be Marxist.  None of this has any connection whatever to us.

So, please stop playing their game of "Pick-a-Side."  Israel stands alone and apart with HKB"H!

  1. You are absolutely right. I should probably watch this video, too. I want to make sure I wasn't too nice about them here: Kurdistan.

The one thing I found interesting about the Kurds was the map (embedded in the above link) from a Kurdish professor. It shows the map he believes should be Kurdistan, and it does not appear to conflict with the borders of a hopefully, future Land of Israel.

  2. Agree, though what to make of claims Jews and Kurds are genetically related?

Additionally Esser Agaroth is correct to point out Kurdish territorial goals curiously do not appear to conflict with the hopefully soon to be complete future Land of Israel.

  3. Just read the ten facts you highlighted above. Sounds like there is absolutely no connection to our people, the ancient Israelites. They sound as if they might have been from a tribe of sun, moon and heavenly worshippers. There are quite a few of these types of peoples and religions today all stemming from all the avoda zoras of ancient times. They probably are an offshoot of the Kurds.

    1. I found their obsession to maintain a separate identity compelling - no intermarriage, etc. But, I'm sure you must be right.

  4. There is no doubt that the Kurds are the closest genetic relatives to the Jews. That doesn't mean they are Jewish, but they are still our closest biological relationship. Abraham's family was almost certainly Kurdish. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genetic_studies_on_Jews

  5. Remember I said smokescreens? Everything that's going on for the mass convincing is being said. The bottom line is that - regardless of whatever is being dropped in the media -the end result will be US troops in Saudia. And you just know it's a hop, skip and a jump from there to Jerusalem.

    1. US plans to send thousands more troops to Saudi Arabia
      Oct 11, 2019 @ 19:40
Pentagon sources reveal that a large number of additional troops, possibly thousands, are to be sent to Saudi Arabia, following the Sept.14 attack on its oil facilities attributed to an Iranian cruise missile-drone attack. No official comment has come from the Pentagon. DEBKAfile: Washington is reassessing its military deployment in the Gulf region, including the role of its aircraft carriers, in the wake of that attack. (Debkafile)

  6. "Jews and Kurds are genetically related?" This is like the other DNA claims of being Jewish that count for nothing. https://www.timesofisrael.com/rabbinate-dna-tests-seek-jewishness-in-the-blood-become-a-bone-of-contention/
The key question is "Is your Mother Jewish or have you had a Kosher Torah Conversion and who can verify it?" Everything else in a lie without proof. For example with the Russian Jew without documentation, what about a Beit Din Conversion. The First Question the Beit Din will ask is "Will you keep the Mitzvot?" The reason why the conversion process is so long is that the Rabbinate need to verify that you will keep the Mitzvot.
