NATIONWIDE STRIKE SET FOR SUNDAY TO PROTEST EXCLUSION OF GAY COUPLES
Thousands of people are expected to take part in a nationwide strike on Sunday to protest a law passed Wednesday that denies state-supported surrogacy to homosexual couples and single men.
...Jeremy Seeff, a director of the LGBTech group and founder of the Israeli Diversity Standard charter told The Jerusalem Post that it sees the strike’s coincidence with Tisha B’Av as a fitting time to fight sinat chinam (baseless hatred).”
Seeff and his colleagues worked through the night, in collaboration with the Aguda, to appeal to major companies in Israel join the cause. Their efforts were successful and by Thursday morning some 60 companies had already come on board. And it seems Hamas was unimpressed by the latest threats from Jerusalem about a Gaza ground assault if the incendiary flights did not stop...
Quneitra falls to Syrian army. Damascus: 1974 accord permits Syrian air flights over Israel’s Golan border
Syrian rebel resistance to the Syrian Army advance on Quneitra opposite the Israeli Golan crumbled on Thursday, July 19, in the absence of Israeli military support.
...Israeli officials and military leaders were dismayed by a message received from Damascus claiming that the 1974 Separation of Forces Accord, which both governments resuscitated this week, allowed Syrian aircraft, including assault helicopters and UAVs, to fly over the buffer zones of the Golan up to the Israel border. Damascus relayed a copy of the accord to Moscow with a warning that any Israeli attempt to shoot down a Syrian overflight would be a breach of the 1974 accord, and its endorsement on July 16 at Helsinki by Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.
...On July 13, Israel shot down a Syrian drone entering the buffer zone. This is no longer permissible. Israel is even precluded from discovering if the intruder belongs to Iran or Hizballah, leaving both these hostile entities free to fly at will over Israel’s Golan border.
Rockets from Gaza, mortars target Israeli patrol, 20 fires caused by balloons
Several rockets slammed into Israel’s Eshkol District from Gaza Thursday afternoon. Mortar fire was directed on an IDF patrol after an Israeli drone struck a Palestinian balloon squad, killing one of its members. From early morning, balloon bombs from Gaza have ignited another 20 fires in Israel.Of course, they do have until end of business tomorrow to comply.
The way things seem to be going, why don't they just put up the 'white' flag, c'v. Israel has to defend itself. This is war and unless they destroy the enemies, well....
ReplyDeleteAlso, the world has gone mad. Even in the U.S. one of the infamous TV afternoon shows 'The View', an extremist leftist show invited a fine rightist guest, Judge Pirro, and they then went beserk and threw her off the show and cursed at her with foul language. She was just on Sean Hannity's radio talk show and told what happened to her today. This is all m'Shamayim because they have literally gone insane. The inmates are running the asylum, no doubt! The Geula is around the corner!
