I have to say that my feelings are mixed when it comes to encouraging Western, particularly American, Jews to make aliyah. Invariably, they want to drag America with them when they come. They want to strengthen democracy and tolerance. They view the Israel/America relationship as sacrosanct and perpetuate the xian image of the Jewish G-d. All things which I personally abhor. It is the American immigrants who have made the shidduchim whereby missionaries and "right-wing" politicians have gained entre to Israeli society.
Take Mike Huckabee for example. The English news division of Arutz Sheva (American immigrants by and large) is gaga over him. (Do a search and se how many articles have been written about him for A7.) An American Jewess, who visits Israel frequently, came into my workplace the other day and raved on and on about getting her picture taken with Huckabee. They call him "a solid supporter of Israel;" wants to move the American Embassy to Jerusalem (please don't!); says the Arabs have 22 other countries to live in (yes, but what about the Israeli Arabs?).
It so happens that Mike Huckabee is one of those new revolutionaries who wants to take the US back to it's true xian roots. If the theocrats in America can take over the political landscape by infiltrating all the higher offices, they don't need to resort to a coup.

Israel will have a "friend" in the White House as long as she is attached to Edom and acts as a virtual pipeline for Western culture to the Middle East. On the day that any Israeli leader, i.e. Mashiach, refuses to continue to cooperate, it won't matter if it's a Republican or a Democrat and we have already seen this all played out over and over again in recent history, but for a people whose refrain is "never again!", the Jews seem to have a very short memory.
I think there must once have been a time when Jews would have steered clear of any politician openly professing the religious views that Huckabee espouses, but that day appears to be over. There's no telling how many "right-wing" and "Orthodox" Jewish Americans would vote for him given the opportunity, out of fear of Obama.
Huckabee's allegiance to his man-god Yeshu will trump any loyalty to rights protected under the constitution. Not allowed? Just amend it! All Jews have to gather in Israel before Yeshu will come back? So send them on over. It'll be doing them a favor!
And fortunate they will be if their fate follows the model of Medieval Spain and not 20th-century Europe! G-d forbid!!

A solution was reached yesterday to the issue of visas for visiting Christian groups — which dominated headlines last week after a furious letter from US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee was leaked to the press — in a meeting yesterday between the Prime Minister’s Office, the Interior Ministry, and the US embassy, an Israeli lawyer who represents Christians in Israel tells The Times of Israel.
“Thanks to the hard work and fruitful cooperation between the US Ambassador, the Ministry of Interior and the Prime Minister’s Office, a solution has been reached to the satisfaction of all parties,” says Calev Myers. “The Evangelical Christian organizations active in Israel, which represent the vast majority of Zionists in the world today, will receive all of the visas they need through a streamlined and efficient application process.”
In his letter to Interior Minister Moshe Arbel last week, Huckabee threatened to publicly declare that Israel no longer welcomes Christian groups to Israel over what he said was Jerusalem’s failure to approve tourist visas for evangelical missions.
Once again, the issue was never about "tourist" visas for Chr*stians "visiting" Israel. This is about A3 visas for resident clergy and staff of resident Chr*stian organizations. This one did manage to get one thing right when they called them "missions"!!
Hundreds, if not thousands, of 'support' staff are now entering on "clergy" visas. Each person granted one of these visas is allowed to bring spouse and children with them and all of them are eligible for this visa which is only renewed once a year and up to five years. However, the State is not strict with these rules. After three years of living in Israel they can apply for citizenship!!
To obtain Israeli citizenship through naturalization as a non-Jew, a resident must live in Israel for three consecutive years with permanent residency status. Additionally, they must demonstrate that Israel is their primary place of residence and prove a certain level of Hebrew language proficiency.

The thing is, it's being portrayed as an issue of hassling Chr*stian tourists, but nothing could be further from the truth! Tourists from the United States do not need to pre-apply for a visa to visit Israel. It is automatically granted on arrival and no one asks your religious or political views.
However, if one intends to stay long term, one must leave Israel and re-renter to renew the three-month tourist visa (over and over again) and that is a thorn in the side of the missionaries, especially groups like Hayovel who serve as a conduit for funneling in so-called Christian Zionist (Judeo-Chr*stian) agricultural workers.
The only visa presently available for long term Chr*stian workers is the A3...
Eligibility Criteria: A/3 Clergy Visa - Must be invited by an established and recognized religious organization in Israel. Must provide evidence of their suitability for the religious assignment, such as ordination credentials or theological school certificates. May need to undergo an interview at an Israeli mission.
From what I've been able to gather there might have been some kind of "understanding" about the possible granting of blocks of visas to organizations to be disbursed as they saw fit. If anyone has any actual proof of this, please forward it to me.

“As the U.S. Ambassador representing President Donald Trump, I am formally demanding that this deteriorating relationship with the Department of State be resolved so that this matter does not escalate further,” Huckabee added. “It would be deeply regrettable if our embassy were to be forced to publicly announce throughout the United States that the State of Israel no longer welcomes Christian organizations and their representatives and that, instead, it is engaging in harassment and negative treatment of organizations with longstanding ties and positive engagement with Zionism. At the center of the current controversy is the Tel Talpiot outpost, near the Palestinian villages of Qusra and Jalud. The outpost has been evacuated several times over the past two years, but each time settlers returned to the site and reestablished it.
The latest escalation began in recent days, when the settlers went beyond simply returning to the original outpost site and began expanding their presence. They erected tents very close to homes in Qusra, including one directly on a Palestinian access path. Local residents said the new Israeli presence had frightened them and, in practice, restricted the movement of several families.
IDF response
The IDF responded forcefully. Even before the tents were evacuated, the IDF Spokesperson issued an unusually severe statement describing the settlers' actions as "illegal, reprehensible and unacceptable activity that harms the residents of the villages and the fabric of their lives."
In response to the tensions, the IDF took several significant steps.
A closed military zone order was imposed on the area, barring entry to anyone who was not a local resident. On Wednesday, IDF and Border Police forces arrived at the site, closed down the tent erected on the access path and evacuated the position. The military also decided to reinforce the sector with an additional infantry battalion in an effort to restore order and operational control and prevent further incidents, while placing additional forces on alert.
Troubling incidents on the ground
The events in Qusra also included several other problematic incidents. Footage circulated in recent days showed soldiers who had arrived at the site praying together with settlers inside one of the tents. The IDF said the incident was under review and made clear that if reserve or active-duty soldiers were found to have participated in illegal activity, they would face disciplinary action.
The US angle
Huckabee's comments have now added an extraordinary diplomatic dimension to what had been a local incident. The US ambassador, long identified with strong support for Israel and the settlement movement, used the highly charged term "Israeli terrorists" and disclosed that the US Embassy had approached Israeli authorities and asked them to remove those involved.
...The Qusra incident, which began with the reestablishment and expansion of an outpost that had previously been evacuated, has thus become an issue involving both the IDF and the US Embassy in Israel.
The media has been in an uproar for several days over an Arab from the murderous Palestinian village of Qusra who claims that “settlers are laying siege to his home.” The incident has developed into a major diplomatic clash, especially since one of the members of the Palestinian family holds US citizenship.
...It should be noted that the Palestinian homeowner at the center of the incident has been involved in multiple violent attacks on Jews.
Local Jewish residents reject the account that the house is under siege and argue that the picture being presented in the media and on social media is partial and detached from the security and regional context on the ground.
A source familiar with the details told JDN News that the house in question is not located within the built-up area of Qusra, but in a remote location on Jabal Ein Eina, which overlooks the entire Shiloh bloc and is considered a strategically significant point in the area. According to the source, the scattered Palestinian structures in the area were built as part of an effort by the Palestinian Authority and nearby villages to establish a foothold on the strategic mountain.
“There was no siege whatsoever on the house,” the source said, saying that the structure was erected nearby for Jewish shepherds to use for shade during the summer. He added that the residents of the house were able to enter and leave and that no one prevented their movement.
It's well worth reading the whole long article. Some reports remark on the "surprise" experienced by Huckabee's strong reaction considering his "love for Israel" and "support for the settlement enterprise."
This is not the first time we've seen this. Have we already so soon forgotten the "burned church" blood libel that he condemned and never corrected once the facts were out?

A report published by Middle East Eye claims that the United States and Israel are quietly advancing a dramatic proposal that would dismantle Jordan’s longstanding custodianship over the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in Yerushalayim and replace it with a new governing structure more closely aligned with Israeli oversight and interests.
According to multiple American, Jordanian, Palestinian, Gulf Arab, and Western sources cited in the report, the initiative is being championed by President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. The proposal would reportedly end the authority of the Jordanian-backed Islamic Waqf and establish a new Israeli-created administrative body that would redefine the Al-Aqsa compound as a “multi-faith centre.”
...Two American officials told the outlet that Washington had already prepared a draft outlining its vision for the future of the compound. According to those sources, the Trump administration envisions transforming Al-Aqsa from an exclusively Muslim religious site into a tourist destination representing all three Abrahamic faiths.
A Western official and another source briefed by Jordanian authorities said one proposal under discussion would create a rotating oversight structure involving multiple Arab countries.
According to those sources, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, and the United Arab Emirates have already been briefed on the American initiative.
However, two Gulf Arab sources and another individual familiar with Jordanian deliberations said Saudi Arabia strongly opposes the proposal, viewing it as dangerously destabilizing.
Sources cited in the report said Israel first presented the concept to the Trump administration nearly ten years ago, but that the effort intensified after Huckabee assumed his diplomatic post last year. According to the report, Huckabee “repeatedly” urged Washington to move forward with the plan.
The across-the-board euphoria over a second Trump presidency amid the steady flow of announcements of pro-Israel cabinet picks, is awe-inspiring, but not in a good way.
...Huckabee is a staunch defender of Israel and his intended nomination comes as Trump has promised to align U.S. foreign policy more closely with Israel’s interests as it wages wars against the Iran-backed Hamas and Hezbollah.

What a warped view of reality!!

Who Is David Decker? Believe it or not, the same misguided person who brought us Kimberly Rogers-Brown has recently introduced Decker to Jewish readers of Breaking Israel News. (Obviously not a good judge of character)... "Pastor" David Decker is an unrepentant idolater who has dedicated his life to converting Jews in Eretz Yisrael for the last 38 years and has raised a new generation to follow in his footsteps (not unlike Tommy Waller).

This is, of course, the same Mike Huckabee who endorses a missionary organization intent on converting Jews to Christianity...
A popular news site that by all indications champions the coming together of Jews and non-Jews, and which shall remain unmentionable on this blog, reports that in addition to Huckabee, "financier Anthony Scaramucci, and TV commentators, Noelle Nikpour, Danielle McLaughlin, Esq. and Lee Carter" are also onboard. They are making it all about them. This is all about Eisav grasping onto Ya'aqov for survival because his time is finished. It won't help him.
