THIS is the essence of Hanukkah.  The same assmilationist forces, even after 2200 years, are still trying to destroy Judaism.  You can call yourself a Jew or an Israeli or a Zionist, a Chr*stian or a Muslim, but let go of the Torah.  In modern Israel, it's a cultural icon, a reminder of our history, but not to be taken too seriously.  Like the Torah Jew, the Torah itself must adapt to the 21st century where Technology is god.

But heed the eternal message of Hanukkah - "Mi l'Hashem elai!"  These assimilationist forces must be resisted at all costs.  The battle still continues...
