Netanyahu Has Truly Lost the Plot

27 Kislev 5786
Third Candle of Hanukkah

Either he is completely out of touch with reality or he is making very cynical use of the holiday to score points with the gentiles.  In his speech given at the Western Wall Hanukkah candlelighting event he made the following statements...

“...We are fighting today the battle that the Maccabees fought.  They fought for the survival of the Jewish people and the Jewish faith against an enemy who wanted to extinguish us, wipe us out from the face of the earth.  We were fighting our battle but we were also fighting the battle of civilization, because our civilization is built on the Judeo-Chr*stian tradition."

"If the Maccabees had failed, there would be no Judaism. There would be no Judeo-Christian civilization. There would be no United States.  ...There wouldn't be the civilization of freedom.  The respect for our common traditions, our common values, all of that would not happen were it not for [the Maccabees].”
Considering that "Judeo-Ch*stianity" is itself the modern incarnation of Hellenism, his remarks are not only self-serving, they are at odds with the historical record.

Western civilization, which he champions so faithfully and eloquently, is the inheritor of Greece, the very empire the Maccabees fought against.

These remarks are jarring in their disconnect from the truth.

The eternal people deserves a more worthy leader.  Mashiach NOW!!

  1. I still don't understand if he really believes this stuff, or if he's just doing it for the PR, support, and money(?). Not sure it matters, but I'm curious.

  2. From what I read, Judeo-Xtian originated as a term for "converted Jews". Also, the founders of the US based the country on "Torah Judaism".

    1. It is supposed to represent a fusion of Judaism and Chr*stianity through the "values" they reputedly "share". However, anyone familiar with the "New" Testament interpretation of the "Old" can confirm that Judaism and Chr*stianity are opposed on every point I can even think of.

Just for two of them consider that if a situation arises in childbirth where only one can be saved from death - the mother or the unborn child - Chr*stianity says the child must be saved at the expense of the mother's life and Judaism rules the opposite.

While Judaism does not encourage divorce, it allows it in certain circumstances and actually requires in the case of adultery. Chr*stianity teaches that divorce is a sin in every circumstance.

I can't imagine where you got this idea that the founders of the United States based their system of governance on Torah Judaism. That is patently untrue and there are too many proofs to present here.

    2. As I understand it the "values" part came about during the 50's or so, as a repudiation against the Soviet Union.

There were letters at the time that spoke highly of the local Jewish communities and took guidance to some degree. When I heard them I would have liked to find the source, but had no idea where to search. I doubt anyone knows what the founders actually believed. It is interesting how the seal depicts the Magen David.

  3. Are there still those same values today. I find it curious that many who "claim" those values now praise toeva lifestyle tolerance. For decades they spoke about overturning Roe v Wade, but there is silence about changing the decision on marriage, which I could never understand Why the state has any role in the matter. It made a license a three-party contract.

  4. Tomer Devorah you are so right, Bibi has gone insane my opinion. He needs to be replaced by a Torah observant Jew who wants to rebuild the Holy Temple now. It’s time let’s go.

  6. Nothing new, he speaks about "values", the darkness that the "enlightened" apostates, free masons, christians, etc etc., they call it "light".
    Look at Yeshayiahu 5:20.

  7. You can't take anything you hear our politicians say at face value. So don't let it ruffle your feathers. As for a Torah observant Jew as PM...that will not happen. We must wait for Moshiach and then there will also no longer be a medinat Israel, only the kingdom of Israel.
