Rav Richter is a national treasure of am yisrael. Frum Jews who have been losing their minds over Trump, doing extreme mental gymnastics for him and his, should be utterly ashamed of themselves. It's a complete lack of emuna and a huge chilul Hashem. The geula can come today berachamim, Be'D, and all the nevuot zaam do not have to happen. No war, no signs. Just like some women have cryptic pregnancies and births. Imho, at some point geula watching can become counterproductive to the actual geula.
“The vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie. Though he tarry wait for him, for it will surely come… it will not be late!” (Habakuk 2:3)
“Therefore wait for Me, says G‑d, for the day that I rise to the prey; for My judgment is to gather nations, that I assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them My indignation, all My fierce anger. For all the earth shall be consumed by the fire of My jealousy.” (Zephaniah 3:8)
“Happy are all those that wait for him.” (Isaiah 30:18)
Waiting for Mashiach, anticipating his coming, is not simply a virtue but a religious obligation. Rambam thus rules that whoever does not believe in and whoever does not await (eagerly looking forward to) the coming of Mashiach, in effect denies the whole Torah, all the prophets beginning with Moses. In the popular formulation of his thirteen Principles of the Faith (the hymn of Ani Ma’amin) this is put as follows:
“I believe with complete faith in the coming of Mashiach. Though he tarry, nonetheless I await him every day, that he will come.”
May the Holy One, Blessed Be He, continue to give us the strength and the faith to continue to wait, however long it takes.
We're supposed to be anticipating Moshiach today. Not on account of this or that gematria, celestial alignment, Torah code etc, etc. Even the nevuot zaam do not have to happen. It's not demoralising to focus on today, what is demoralising is all the promises etc, after x, y and z. Imho, saying it will come after x,y and z is delaying the geula because it removes the focus from today. We're supposed to be in a place of tsaaka of Ein Od Milvado, and not a minute more.
Neshama: Do you recall a premonition of Yehudis (dream or otherwise) about Turkey and Egypt in a “confrontation” with America? With not good results? This came to me recently after reading about the aggression of Egypt (and knowing the upredictability of) Turkey. Someone commented to me that he recalled such a scenario as part of a “premonition”. Thought I would ask you.
No. Yehudit does say that both Egypt and Jordan declare war against us. I imagine that will be linked to Trump's insistence on them taking Gazans when he enacts his plan for Gaza, something he doubled down on just yesterday.
I also recall something similar a while back if not from Yehudit then from someone else, either the NDE or facilitated communication individuals.
Essentially it predicts Turkey and Egypt initially being in conflict with each other, with either the latter taking Egypt and both targeting Israel or both entering into an alliance against Israel (that possibly includes Jordan).
It was roughly around the time Sisi took power from the Turkish backed Muslim Brotherhood under Morsi or sometime afterwards.
Although in reality Sisi’s support for MB affiliate Hamas since then is no different from before, which could basically amount to the same thing.
All of this is more of the same of not being 'tamim im Hashem Elocheicha'. People have dreams, there may be truth in the dream at the time of the dream. That does not mean that is how it will come to pass. All of this is bekochi, I, my ego, is trying to figure out exactly how and when it will happen. Is that really more important than the geula actually happening? Hashem wants our hearts and our tsaaka, not our reckonings. Maybe this is why we are not supposed to calculate the end. We should focus more on what we can do to bring it.

I'm also tired of the moshiach predictions and the ad hoc excuses the day after. It's demoralising.
