There is no question that America is the final incarnation of the Fourth Empire - "Wicked Rome." It's the only Empire left in today's world.

Its destructiveness derives from the non-existence that cleaves to it, since the fourth empire is the end and finish of the world empires; their deterioration and ruin.

Right now, the world is watching to see what will happen when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi attempts to land in Taiwan, possibly as soon as tomorrow. China has been issuing the direst of warnings all week, even threatening to shoot down her plane, but nobody knows how far they are really willing to go.
A visit to Taiwan is not on any official schedule, but speculation has her landing there anywhere from tomorrow, August 2, to Thursday, August 4.

DeletePutin's recent speeches devote many words to the American Empire. There are many terms for it (a particularly good one is "The Empire that Never Ends," as noted by SF author Phillip K. Dick). How this war in Ukraine is existential.
ReplyDeleteHe also speaks of what could be considered his own Agenda 2030, and how it contrasts with the West's. Certainly, it's a better world, but only by comparison to total evil.
The word "sovereignty" figures prominently in his latest speech. We are witnessing the end of the ability of America to assert its GloboHomo agenda everywhere. There may be 200 "sovereign" states in the UN, but even at the simple level of the financial, until recently, pretty much all used SWIFT to transact internationally, those who control it will shut off entire countries if they deviate even a tiny bit from the agenda.
All Putin offers, and this is what all the chess moves involve by him and everyone else, is some sort of multi-polar sovereignty. It's still pretty bleak. He's not offering to spill the beans. Hashem doesn't fit into the picture at all.
The West considers this war existential too. They are willing to have this war fought to the last Ukrainian, and certainly beyond, to bring Russia and the other BRICS nations to heel. The suffering of large numbers of their own because of their responses to the war is a feature, not a bug. Turkey is making overtures. NATO would disintegrate. Saudi Arabia is considering! That would be the end of the dollar right there.
Regarding Pelosi, I don't know if China will make such a bold move or not. Many speculated Putin would not restore the gas flow after the 10 day maintenance period too. It doesn't matter. They will make some move, soon enough, in some way.
It should also be clear that whatever military conflict is in play, it could be absolutely minimal, but still cause widespread death and destruction everywhere in a very short amount of time. WW3 doesn't have to approach anything close to the scale WW2, or even Viet Nam, to instigate worldwide suffering. It doesn't have to resemble it in any way. Russia has probably committed no more than 200K soldiers to the war (it started with much less), even now, and all have been from second string forces, not the front line troops, which are still anticipating a wider conflict with NATO.
Think of the effects internationally of China's recent Covid shutdowns. This is war by other than military means, even if means their own people suffer.
The Americans still have to answer for the nuclear bombs they unleashed on the world. For all their talk of defending the world against weapons of mass destruction, they are still the only ones to have ever used them. And "coincidentally", the anniversary of that event falls out this year on Tisha b'Av.
DeleteShe’s there already in Asia, in Taiwan. Maybe China will prevent her from leaving. That would be a good thing. It may be what she brings back with her that is crucial; there are critical parts made in Taiwan that have not been able to reach America, that can spell the complete stoppage of functioning America.
