"...and on the 15th of Nisan they will in the future be redeemed from subjugation to exile.” (Tanhuma, Bo 9)

Daniel: Conclusion - The Little Horn's Demise

9 Marcheshvan 5780

What will be the end of the little horn of the fourth empire - the end of all exiles for the Jews?

The Court assembles, the Judge sits, and the Books are opened. (Daniel 7:9-10, Paraphrased)
...because of the sound of the haughty words which the horn spoke, I watched until the beast [representing the fourth empire - "Rome" -] was slain and its body destroyed and consigned to a flame of fire.  (Daniel 7:11)
From A Commentary Anthologized from Talmudic, Midrashic, and Rabbinic Sources:
Because of the sound of the haughty words.  The wrath of the Ancient of Days was aroused by the blasphemous words of the small horn (Rashi).
The final judgment upon the fourth kingdom will not take place solely on account of its evil deeds.  Its ultimate downfall shall come as a consequence of the falsehoods perpetuated by the religions represented by the small horn (Mayenei HaYeshuah 8:8; Malbim)
And its body destroyed - in this world ...
And consigned to a flame of fire ...
... In the world to come - Gehinom (Mayenei HaYeshuah 8:8).
fire, refers to the flame of Jacob:  And it shall come to pass that the house of Jacob shall be a fire ... (Obadiah 1:18; Rashi)
Ovadiah 1:17-18 in full...
On Mount Zion there will be refuge, and it will be holy; and the house of Jacob will inherit those who had dispossessed them.  The house of Jacob will be fire, the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for straw; and they will ignite them and devour them.  There will be no survivor to the house of Esau, for Hashem has spoken.
How are we to understand this?  Is it literal or maybe metaphorical?

I can't help wondering what part some or all of these high-profile American-Jewish names may play in a metaphorical scenario...

    1. Mnuchin holds the country's purse strings. If the economy sours, Jews and money are a lethal combination.

Kushner's alliance with Saudi Arabia and insistence on harming Israel with yet another ill-conceived peace plan could bring America down all by itself.

  2. But most of those mentioned above are hateful people and the real yehudim (almost every religious Jew & even normal thinking secular ones) feel the same way about them. The leftist dem party has turned into a joke. This is the most confusing era ever and we must put our total emunah and bitachon in H', because He is running everything (good & bad). Also, we have to remember that these wealthy and powerful 'jews' are really Erev Rav.

  3. Joe Lieberman is actually one of the most decent politicians that exist in the world (and there aren't many of those). He is also shomer shabbat and shomer mitzvot, as well as a long-standing supporter of Israel. I've met some of his relatives personally. I know he is a Democrat, but he was a member of the party long before they became mainly a group of SJW losers and socialists obsessed with identity politics and killing babies. If he doesn't get saved in the final judgment, I don't want to even think what's gonna happen to the rest of us.

    1. They are already psyching themselves up for a real war over it. I know this.

  4. The perceived or real threat these people represent to the traditional American way of life is fueling Jew-hatred in America. The perceived or real alliance between such Jews and the Democratic party in America could contribute to the splintering of American society to the point that it really does result in a second civil war - the spark that lights the fire so to speak.

And it's not just American Jews. Who does the "Right" perceive as the greatest threat of all - a Jew - George Soros.

And who is in the middle of the trouble threatening to bring down President Trump - the Jewish President of Ukraine Velodymyr Zelensky. Who might even now be giving evidence against Trump's trusted attorney Rudy Giuliani - two Jews - Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman.

  5. I tend to read zh mostly finance & politics. Certainly not anti semitic yet when you go into the threads incredible hatred for us, and just waiting for systemic collapse. Unfortunate insane Jewish support for progresive Democrats-Abortion LGBQTETC.is giving them the rope they want..

  6. Well, all this is happening because H' is leading us to the Geulah and, to me, anti-semitism usually builds up to awaken the Jews (those who are still able to see and understand) that they need to do teshuvah and come home. The problem here is like Rabbi Mizrachi said in a recent video, Bibi is so-called 'right' but really 'left', but his opponent, Gantz, is so far left, so what we have is bad and the other literally, terrible. In the U.S., we have Trump who is, so far, good for the Jews and is fighting an uphill battle, even within his own party, but, c'v, the opposing side would be the disaster of which you speak of, which they are already showing. Sanders (Erev Rav) is a literal anti-semite and his hatred for Israel is open. The anti-semites just need even a small opening to unleash their hatred. H' shomer Amo Yisrael!

  7. On what basis do you claim "Trump is good for the Jews"?

  8. So far he has been the friendliest presideny to the Jews. We do not know what's in man's mind, but we need, at this point, to have hakorat hatov. There is a problem in the U.S. All the previous administrations were on the same wavelength and that's why he has so many problems within the gov and his party. Because all the bureaucrats who continue on from administration to administration are of the same ilk, all globalists who are all in the same inner circle and usually have a deep hatred for the Jews and Israel, i.e, the state dept. This is well known and it doesn't matter if they're dems or republicans. He has turned their whole agendas upside down and that is why they admitted, even openly, as soon as he was elected before he took office that they want him 'out'. Whatever happens in the future is something we have no control over. The only thing we could definitely be sure of is if the other candidate would have won, better not to even put it in words because it would have been disasterous for everyone and particularly for Israel and the Jews, in general. Even notable rabbis have used the term that his winning was the Hand of H', so to speak. Whatever, it is H' running the show and believe it will lead us to Geulah. One thing for sure, he didn't have control on a lot of picks, whether for VP or otherwise; there are tremendous powerful forces and only because of his character, steadfastness and determination is he able to have some control where others would have folded by now. Believe everything is m'Shamayim and that we, the Jewish people, have to do teshuvah and wake up because there are many leftist Jews. r'l, whom I'm afraid to say seem to be completely lost to our people. The rest is all up to H'.

    1. You still have not answered my question. On what basis do you claim that Trump is "good for the Jews"?

Now, I have other questions, but I still want an answer to the first one. Are you implying that had Hillary won, it would not have been God's will? Are you saying that Obama was not also God's will? Do you really think whoever is president of the US really determines Israel's fate?

  9. This is the third try getting this comment through because the other two were just sort of taken away out of the blue. So I will have to shorten my comment. Didn't say or mean to say that he's better or good for us, just tried to emphasize that he was definitely the better choice (every observant Jew knows that). As far as being the Hand of H', of course, as everything is the Hand of H' Who controls everything. But, this was a clear sign from Above (being that 95% of the people were sure the other candidate would win). This was sort of an out of the box situation. Jews and non-Jews said the same thing. Hoping Jews realize that anti-semitism is growing worldwide and will do teshuvah and realize it's time to go habayitah!
