THIS NEEDS TO GO EVERYWHERE!

 14 Elul 5780

I feel privileged to be able to pass along to the readers a tremendous communication which has been made available to me by someone wishing to remain anonymous.  It is a quite lengthy letter addressed to rabbanim et al. in Passaic, New Jersey by Rabbi Yitzchok Dovid Smith.

Within the letter itself Rabbi Smith states:  "This letter is not intended as a private letter. Due to the vital nature of this communication it may be distributed to anyone who will benefit from this information."  Therefore, I take him at his word and pass it along to you as well and strongly encourage you to pass it along further, particularly to the rabbis of our communities.

I have not seen a more cogent analysis and presentation of the facts of what we've come to know as The Plandemic of 2020 in all the months since it first started. It is truly unique in its scope and breadth in light of his personal experience and accounts, and all I can say is yasher koach and kol hakavod to Rabbi Smith on the initiative and courageous leadership which he has shown in bringing this to the attention of the public at large.

May Hashem bless all his efforts with success and liberate His people from fear and the delusions of madmen who have usurped the reins of power over the entire earth.

Due to the length and the necessity of maintaining the formatting, I am making this available through my Google Drive, so there is no need to download a .pdf file, although anyone who wants their own copy is invited to write me at tdnjslm@gmail.com and I will gladly forward to you the .pdf I received.

BEYOND WICKED

 11 Elul 5780

Last week's parashah, Ki Teitze, holds first place for having the greatest number of mitzvot.  Among them, one in particular stood out for me because of something I had recently read: "You shall not see your brother's ox or sheep straying, and ignore them. [Rather,] you shall return them to your brother." (Devarim 22:1)

The Concise Book of Mitzvot compiled by The Chafetz Chayim lists this as positive mitzvah number 69, "it is a positive commandment to return something lost to a member of Jewry," and it says the following about it:

...It is a religious duty to return a lost object even to a wicked person.  But if someone eats carcasses [non-kosher meat] out of spite and defiance, or he violates the Shabbat openly, he is a heretic, and it is forbidden to return a lost object to him."

That gave me pause because of the implication of a vast difference between a wicked person and one who meets the definition of a heretic.  Apparently heresy goes beyond wickedness.  However, from my experience, there are very few Jews today who are willing to concede this fact or to identify the heretic so as to fulfill this mitzvah of withholding the lost object. This lack of balance in our observance is partly the cause of the situation we find ourselves in these days.

So, my question now is this:  If Jared loses an item during his photo-op at the Kotel Hama'aravi, are we obligated to return it or not?  I mean, you have to wonder.

Here is a person who presents himself as an observant Jew and yet he is leading the world (and forcing Israel) to adopt a policy whereby the holiest parts of Eretz Yisrael will be given to terrorists to make their own State and whereby hordes of Muslim infidels are proclaimed to be welcome to flood the holiest place of all - Har Habayit - knowing that they claim it for themselves and vow God's house will never be rebuilt there.  Wicked?  No question!  But, how can it be that there is something even worse; that eating non-kosher meat on purpose and violating the Shabbat in public is even worse than that?

To my mind, they all paint a picture of someone who does not believe that HKB"H really exists, or that He has really commanded, or that He really judges, else they would be afraid of the consequences of performing such actions which run so contrary to His expressed will.

Thankfully, I don't think I'll ever be confronted with this particular dilemma.  I don't anticipate ever crossing paths with Jared Kushner.  But, if I had to decide which mitzvah to adhere to in his case, I'd choose to err to the side of most doubt and I'm convinced that what Jared Kushner is doing is beyond wicked.  And that goes also for anyone and everyone who rallies around the Golden Calf of "Peace."

"In Jerusalem on Sunday to meet Israel’s leaders, Kushner declared “The stage is now set” for “previously unthinkable” economic, security and religious cooperation, with more to come."    (Source)

"When You Go Out to War..."

GUEST POST...

CLARIFYING THE LAWS OF WAR

"When you will go out to war against your enemies, and Hashem your G-d will deliver him into your hand and you will capture its people as captives..."

Rashi teaches us that this verse from our parsha is talking about an optional war - for in the wars of the Land of Israel, it cannot be said, "and you will capture its people as captives", because it has already been said, "you shall not allow any person to live". From this we learn that there are two types of wars, a "milchemet mitzvah" and a "milchemet reshut", compulsory and noncompulsory war, respectively.

How unfortunate it is that so many of us do not know the difference between the two! As Rabbi Kahane HY"D writes:
"To our sorrow, these concepts have been corrupted and confused by yeshiva students accustomed to the exile. This applies both to those in the Diaspora and those in the Land of Israel, the exile having had a pervasive influence in both places. They are ignoramuses in this regard, so much so that they have no idea what a 'milchemet mitzvah' is, what its parameters are, and whether such a concept exists today at all. And the Torah dons sackcloth."
Let us start with the noncompulsory war - this is a war where the king wants to add greatness or reknown or to capture land, where there is no outside threat against the Jewish people. This type of war can only be done with the authorization of the great Sanhedrin, the 71 judges - obviously no small matter. Interestingly enough, in last week's parsha, we find the priest calling out to all the people who had gathered to go to war, that all those who have built a new house and not begun to live in it, let them go back home lest he die in war. Or any man who has planted a vineyard and has not redeemed its crops, let him go home. Or any man who has betrothed a woman and not married her, let him go home, etc. In all of these cases, we are talking about a noncompulsory war, for in a compulsory war everyone goes out to battle - even a groom from under his canopy.

And what is a "milchemet mitzvah", a compulsory war? The Rambam lists three things that are considered a compulsory war: The wars against Amalek, the wars against the seven nations who lived in the Land prior to the conquest of the Land by Joshua, and troubles that befall the Jewish people. The Rambam clarifies concerning non-Jews who came to wage war against Israel, to collect tax from them, to steal land from them, or to force a decree upon them, even regarding a light mitzvah. In all of these cases we go out to war, as it is a compulsory war, a commandment. Even more than this: We find that no permission is needed to wage a compulsory war, as we have seen with the case of a noncompulsory war; rather, the king/government must go out to war at once, and any delay is considered as part of the bloodshed.

We even find in the Talmud that it states: In a border town, even where the non-Jews are not attacking to kill Jews but just to demand hay and straw, we go forth armed to attack them, even violating the Sabbath to do so.

Should we be so fanatical, that just for hay and straw we go out to fight and kill? Even disregarding the Sabbath for this? The answer is, of course - Yes, for it is a compulsory war, and in a compulsory war every ones goes out to fight, even on Sabbath....

With love of Israel,
Levi Chazen

HISTORIC STORM: "It Is The Finger of GOD"

 7 Elul 5780

LAURA = לאורה = 242

And Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord with which he had sent him and all the signs that He had commanded him.  (Shemot 4:28)

And the people believed, and they heard that the Lord had remembered the children of Israel and that He saw their affliction, and they kneeled and prostrated themselves. (Shemot 4:31)

And it shall be to you as a sign upon your hand and as a remembrance between your eyes, in order that the law of the Lord shall be in your mouth, for with a mighty hand the Lord took you out of Egypt.  (Shemot 13:9)

The words in red have the same gematria as the name of this hurricane.  All of these examples come from the context of the first redemption from Egypt.  Draw your own conclusions.

"HURRICANE KATRINA ANNIVERSARY"

 4 Elul 5780

They obviously learned nothing from that historic event fifteen years ago.  By all accounts, Katrina was a result of the US-mandated expulsion of Jews from Gush Katif - one stage in their peace-making process.  And with Pompeo here in Israel today and Kushner to follow to push through the latest stage of the plan to parcel out the Land of Israel, this is just a reminder of what can happen.  Don't know how many more warnings they have left before HKB"H puts them out of the peace-making business permanently.

"DUCK AND COVER!"

 Shavua Tov!

The people of the United States are under very heavy judgment because of what their leadership is trying to do to the Jewish people in Eretz Yisrael.  They need to let their voices be heard in Washington, DC that they do not approve and in Shamayim for mercy!!

From America's propaganda press in Israel on Thursday.  More than Hamas in Gaza is floating balloons here...

AND NOW AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK, THIS ANNOUNCEMENT...

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration will send two top officials to the Middle East this week in a bid to capitalize on momentum from the historic agreement between Israeli and the United Arab Emirates to establish diplomatic relations.
Three diplomats say Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and US President Donald Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner plan to make separate, multiple-nation visits to the region in the coming days to push Arab-Israeli rapprochement in the aftermath of the Israel-UAE deal.
Pompeo is expected to depart tomorrow for Israel, Bahrain, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Sudan, according to the diplomats, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the itinerary has not yet been finalized or publicly announced. Kushner plans to leave later in the week for Israel, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Morocco, the diplomats say.
Obviously, they are going to want to ram this through in order to continue building momentum for the presidential election.  Since Saudi Arabia has come out very strongly publicly that they will make no deals with Israel until there is a Palestinian State, I guess Pompeo and Kushner are coming to twist arms in the hopes that they can make a real estate deal with the Temple Mount.  Their problem is they don't seem to understand that it belongs to HKB"H.  HE is the One they have to deal with.  Good luck with that.

The main striving of the Erev Rav is to mate Esau and Ishmael and separate the two Messiahs, and our own main battle is to shatter and rout the power of the Erev Rav, the impurity of evil Armilius, from Israel. (Kol HaTor)
Regarding which Rabbi Meir Kahane wrote in Ohr HaRa'ayon...
...Whether redemption comes "in its time" or "in haste," Mashiach ben Yosef will act to promote Kiddush Hashem, namely, through the conquest of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, and he will do things which will anger the nations, yet he will not fear them. Precisely these deeds of his which sanctify G-d's name will bring the final redemption, by the fact that all the nations will go to war against Israel, and Israel will be alone with no helper but their Father in Heaven. Only in this way will we be able to achieve the final redemption through true Kiddush Hashem - G-d against the whole world."

 The showdown is coming!
