In case you thought nothing was going on except the plandemic...

But back to the scamdemic, it has also been used as an excuse in some places to destroy books which can't be sanitized (my word as it serves a double meaning).  Found on Facebook...

I am sure the school district is using the excuse of COVID. My young son started summer camp through our school district and all the books have been removed from the classrooms. They claim that the books cannot be cleaned. 

Hundreds and hundreds of books regarding American history including Native Americans like Sitting Bull and Famous Sioux Chiefs, foreign nations far and wide, the Holocaust and even Mister Rogers, found in dumpster behind Sunrise Park Middle School in White Bear Lake, MN. No sign of any fiction books, just non-fiction regarding history, cultures, wars, tyranny, communism, politics, etc. They are trying to erase history and I can’t understand why not donate perfectly good and relevant books to a library or cultural centers. This is sad!

Principal responds after photos of school library books in dumpster cause social media stir

The principal of a middle school in White Bear Lake, Minnesota is responding after photos showing stacks of books in a school dumpster spread on social media.

The photos of the books struck a nerve with community members. After seeing one social media post, Ryan Swanson told FOX 9 he drove out to the school to see for himself.

"I was so mad, I just left," he said.

He says the discarded books appeared to be non-fiction and included topics such as Native American history, the Constitution and World War II. Swanson says he salvaged about 30 books and saw others filling up bins to donate the items.

Sunrise Park Middle School Principal Christina Pierre sent a message to parents Friday morning, explaining their media specialist had put outdated library books in the recycle bin after "weeding through the collection."

"The weeding procedure is important to help us find a new home for books 10 years and older to ensure that materials are keeping up-to-date with the needs of ever-changing curriculum, school goals and student needs," wrote Pierre.

I'm 66 years old and this is the first time I've ever heard that books have an expiration date!

 IT'S NOT ABOUT YOUR HEALTH - IT'S ABOUT CONTROL.

THINK ABOUT IT! If the new vaccines were about protecting health (which one would expect to extend life expectancy), why would it be listed as part of a plan to reduce world population numbers???

AVOID THE VACCINES! AVOID TESTING! They may be infecting people via the test!!  

Furthermore, if you think this "second wave" or any additional future "waves" of this virus are caused by the public's failure to adhere strictly to the "guidelines,"  THINK AGAIN!

THEY ARE REINFECTING PEOPLE THE SAME WAY THEY STARTED IT and that is why the symptoms are "all over the map."  Name any symptom of illness and it is now associated with COVID-19 infection!!

Is there more than one strain of the new coronavirus?

Back on 13 Tammuz/July 5, 2020, I wrote The War Going on Right Under Our Noses describing the outbreak of a cyber war that actually started on Rosh Chodesh Iyyar.  At first, it seemed to be a tat-for-tat exchange confined to the Middle East, but this past week, the ante was upped when it reached US shores.

Chamishi - 5th Aliya - Bamidbar 33:50-34:15

G-d speaks to Moshe in Arvot Moav and commands the People to enter, conquer, acquire, and settle the Land, according to the “Divine Lottery”.  This is one of the 613 mitzvot according to Ramban - the mitzva of YISHUV ERETZ YISRAEL, the mitzva to live in Israel.  Ramban says that this mitzva applies in all times, including our own.

Part of the mitzva, explains Ramban, is that the people of Israel may not shun G-d’s gift and promise, and go conquer and settle elsewhere.  Jews who live anywhere in the world outside of Israel should always remember their “stranger in a strange land” status. Adopting someplace else as your own and removing Israel from your personal agenda, contravene the spirit (and maybe the letter) of this mitzva.

The boundaries of the Land are detailed.  These boundaries are now for the 9½ tribes, since Reuven, Gad and half of Menashe have claimed their allotments on the East Bank.

Read the description of the boundaries of the land that is being given by G-d to the Jewish People.  To the Jewish People.  To the Jewish People.  To us.  Unlike the identity of many of the encampments, we know where these boundaries are.  Eretz Yisrael for the Jewish People goes at least (see next paragraph) from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River.  The Torah does not seem to indicate that parts of the Promised Land should become a foreign state - regular or demilitarized - or be given to enemies of the State of Israel or the Jewish People.

(Perhaps - no, no perhaps - it's a definite!)  Do you believe that G-d created the world? Do you believe that G-d commanded us to keep the Shabbat?  Do you believe that G-d gave Eretz Yisrael to the Jewish People, in perpetuity?  Do you believe that it is His Will that we, His People, live in Eretz Yisrael?  These questions are not 'pick and choose' for us.  They are The Package Deal that G-d made with us and the reason He took us out of Egypt and made us a nation - His nation.

In G-d's original promise to Avraham Avinu, the land to be given to his descendants was to be "from the Egyptian River until the great river, P'rat".  The boundaries described in this week's sedra contain a territory significantly smaller than that which was promised. Our Sages tell us that the original promise includes territory to be added to Eretz Yisrael in the future, in the times of the Moshiach.

You Can't Trust The Numbers or the Government That Relies on Them

The numbers being quoted in the media are completely useless for determining the true scope of the pandemic in Israel.  And yet the politicians are threatening the citizens with all kinds of punitive measures based on the situation as perceived through these skewed statistics.  We've already seen people harassed on the streets by the police; whole neighborhoods locked down; people forced to leave home and go to "coronavirus hotels."  Limits on activities have already been renewed with promises of High Holy Days being a repeat of Pesach and threats of synagogue and yeshivah closures once again.

The inmates who have taken charge of the asylum tout "record" numbers of infected and "record" numbers of serious cases, but it is impossible to get a true accounting of the real numbers as the reports are contradictory depending on where you look for them.  (For example today's count of new cases was either 1200+ or 1500+ depending on where you were looking.)

Recently, I quoted Dr. Yoav Yehezkelli who said: "What matters is not the total number of patients, but the number of severe illnesses and intubated patients. As long as these figures are under control, the situation is good."

The constantly increasing number of overall cases is clearly the result of increased testing [Health Ministry said set to reduce testing as system overwhelmed by outbreak - Asymptomatic people won’t be checked; Israeli HMOs warn they'll start 'throwing away' virus tests due to overload]  but now the reported number of "severe" illnesses has more than doubled since then.  And that is explained here:

Israel’s recent rise in serious COVID-19 cases partly due to change in criteria - Doctors at Israel’s largest hospital amended their approach to categorizing virus patients, impacting national stats; goal is to standardize criteria, they say, not inflate figures.

However, that's exactly what happened.  Despite the seeming worsening of the pandemic in Israel in a so-called "second wave," the mortality rate remains relatively low.  But even those numbers can't be taken at face value as the Israeli media is reporting 375 deaths as a result of COVID-19 as of today's date, while the WHO makes it 364.  

Whom do we believe?  There is no way to know how the dead are being counted as many countries have admitted to decisions and practices which skews those numbers as well.  Either way, the figure remains relatively low.  Even taking the higher figure of 375, that averages out to 2.5 persons per day (since Feb 21 when counts began).  

By comparison, in 2016, the most recent date I can find for statistics, there were a total of 35,717 deaths from all causes in the over-65 age group (those determined to be most at risk from COVID-19).That's an average of 97.8 persons per day.

The reason our perception of this pandemic is so out of touch with reality is because at no other time have the media and the government ever reported on daily deaths from any other cause.  I also have to wonder why the number of ventilated patients is still rising when ventilator-assisted breathing has been determined by many credible medical sources to be a cause of higher mortality.  (See Are Ventilators Making Some COVID-19 Patients Worse? and Why Ventilators May Not Be Working as Well for COVID-19 Patients as Doctors Hoped.)

This was shared today on Facebook.  It is genius.

Many people these days express the sentiment that it feels like we are living inside a movie.  Someone took it a step further and turned the events of 2020 into a "movie" trailer.  Someone else commented: "I heard they changed the title to: '2020: Everything 2012 wanted to be.'"
