New Parties, Old Faces

10 Iyyar 5772
Day 25 of the Omer

Why do these tired, old rejected politicians believe that forming a new party with a new name will cause people to flock back to them. Uh, been there, done that! The average Israeli is not as gullible as the members of the "Elite" might think.

In 2011, Ehud Barak left Labor and started his own party called Independence. Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert joined Kadima when it was fresh and new, but once that wore off and people saw that it had no real substance, it lost it's popularity. Now, the two of them are looking to start yet another "new" party, but they still only have their "old" faces and nothing but the name will have changed.

  1. Rav Ades Shlit"a warned Livni 2 months ago not to antagonize Haredim, and it she did, she will fall.
