From Altneuland to the present day, a model society requires cooperation. Instead of pushing Arab-Israeli citizens beyond the political field of vision, the time has come to build a courageous alliance that can curb fanaticism and moral decline.In Altneuland, there is an episode centered on a debate over whether non-Jews should have the right to vote in the new society. It is always possible to search with a flashlight for flaws. But this is a man who condemned the Oct. 7, 2023, attack, who has declared his recognition of Israel as a Jewish state and who, more importantly, has consistently extended a hand to the Jewish public. We must not refuse it. Abbas has repeatedly condemned the Oct. 7 massacre, and he has publicly said that Israel "was born as a Jewish state" and would remain one.

ReplyDeleteResponding to reports that a home was set ablaze by settlers in the southern West Bank overnight, Israel Police says forensic investigators determined that the fire broke out due to an electrical failure, not deliberate arson.
Palestinian media outlets had reported that Israeli settlers set fire to a home in Khillet al-Farra, in the South Hebron Hills. A video obtained by The Times of Israel shows the homeowner claiming that settlers told her personally to leave the area before throwing an incendiary device through her window and setting fire to the house.
In a statement, police say that arson investigators visited the site this morning and determined that a short circuit was to blame for the fire. (Source)

Just reading this makes one want to puke. How in the world can this even be an acceptable idea. This is what happens when you have a Jewish population that has no idea what and who they are. But, we must not forget that the 'state' has never really acted 'Jewish' because it has been and still is led by the Airev Rav together with non-Jewish alliances.

if I'm correct, thought that Ofir Winter is an orthodox Jewish general. I guess even those called 'orthodox' are really not.

(Ynet) Democrats party leader Yair Golan called on former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Yisrael Beiteinu leader Avigdor Liberman and former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot to include Arab parties in the coalition after the next elections. "We must not fear a Jewish-Arab partnership in the next government," Golan said at the Democrats party conference.
