Is This What We Have Been Watching For?

20 Adar 5786

An article appeared today, in both Hebrew and in English, which I believe corresponds to an important signpost predicted to herald our redemption.  I wonder if anyone caught something like that today.  Did you?  Care to share?

Which article are you referring to? I would love to read it

  5. I don't want to say anything too soon. I thought if anyone else had seen something very noteworthy in today's news, then it might be worth talking about. You know that I hold a great store by what "Yehudit," a"h, said. Many of her predictions have already come true or are ongoing. One of them just recently began to be fulfilled and the next step, by my reckoning "the big one", may have happened in the last 24 hours. I'd need more time to know for sure, but I was very, very excited by what I saw and thought surely someone else has noted this. If a few people had already made the connection, I would feel more confident in talking about it.

I will give you a website where you can find the story that I am referring to, but you have to find it. If you do and can connect it to one of Yehudit's predictions, I'll confirm or deny. https://ch10.co.il/

You can also find it on the website which I do not link to, so you are on your own there.

    1. Is there still a website where Yehudit's writings can be found?

    2. Yehudit's 'Prophecy'

Specifically what she says about MBY's first act before he even knows he is the one chosen to be what Rabbi Kahane calls the "Inaugural Messiah."

  6. Devorah Chayah, I would have said, the allowing of Amiram ben Nurit (ben-Uliel) to have conjugal visits, but apparently the page you linked to doesn't have that story. I'm sure I'm wrong, though; it's not enough.

  7. Maybe I found it. MK Tzvi Sukkot sleeps in a shelter with residents from Kiryat Shmona. Why? https://ch10.co.il/news/1051347/

I posted another comment earlier, but didn't ID myself. Sorry about that. -HDG

    2. HDG, you were right on. I just wanted you to complete the picture. Once Hezbollah was raining down missiles supplied by Iran, MBY would "arrive to the North" out of his care for Am Yisrael. I watched for this in the last go-around but it never happened and then there was a ceasefire til last week and now, here is something that looks very promising, but of course, we have to see where it all goes from here. If you check into his history as I did this afternoon, I think you will agree with my opinion that he is the best contender for the job we have seen yet. As for why Yehudit says a number of observant Jews will refuse to follow him at first, I think it is because he will be seen as too radical for most, but we know this is how MBY will have to be to do his job.

    3. I also saw this on A7. I know you don't go there, but they did, all right. Why would any politician sleep in the same place with the rabble?

Yehudit says this: He will operate through his qualifications and through his love for Am Yisrael that is embedded in him. He doesn't know yet that he's Mashiach ben Yosef.

    4. Actually, I do go there to read, but there were too many times that they violated journalistic integrity, to the pooint that I sowre not to use them as a source. If I find somehting interesting there, I go looking for corroboration and if I find it, I know it's real and then I use that one as my primary source.

On your second paragraph - very true. And I was very surprised at how much effort he has made to be out with the people all over the country finding out the problems and coming up with solutions. What an amazing "unknown" treasure.

      Another example...

Quote: MK Tzvi Succot (Religious Zionism party) has been prominent in documenting and raising alerts about drones carrying weapons from the Sinai Peninsula over the Egyptian border into Israel.

    1. How does that connect to Yehudit's predictions, Leah? You've caught the scent.

    2. I remember when Zvi Sukkot was indeed one of the hilltop youth. When the mosque in the town of Yassuf next to Kfar Tapuah was burned down, both he and Meir David Kahane (son of R' Binyamin Ze'ev son of R' Meir David hy"d) were both taken in as suspects.

I believe it was a pretty obvious rouse to have an excuse to bring them in, maybe to threaten them, maybe to

After that, I lost track of Tzvi, and do not know how he became an activist. I am sure he as attracted to Ben Gvir, and his knowledge and experience. He stood for elections a few times, then finally made it in.

He grew up in the Haredi town of Beitar Ilit, and went to a Zilberman's yeshiva (Litvish looking, where they wear tefilin all day and hold to wearing techellet).

He did not serve in the IDF, receiving an exemption, due to his stating in his intake interview that he had no trust in the army after its evacuation of Jews from Gaza (& Northern Shomron) in 2005.

He could be a natural unifier between hilltop and haredi youth, the need of which I have been talking about for years.

  9. Some interesting facts about TsYS (Tsvi Yedidiyah Sukkot). He was born a month before Rabbi Kahane was niftar - Oct. 5, 1990 which was Erev Sukkot. ["One comes and another goes..."] He is married to the daughter of the righteous Rabbi Hillel Lieberman, ztz"l, Hy"d. He lives in Yitzhar and has five daughters and one son. His parents are US citizens.

  10. I guess no one else is as impressed as I am. A family member asked me how did someone with his history ever get elected to the Knesset in the first place. What popped into my mind was that Moshe Rabbeinu grew up in Paro's palace. Hashem has His ways.

  11. I agree, I'm also very impressed by Zvi Sukkot, I discovered him after Oct 7. But has anybody heard anything about Jonathan Pollard lately?

  13. It's not gonna be Pollard. He is a suffering soul for Klal and a MBY tool as we all are living out this Takufa waiting for Hashem to anoint the brave one who will finish this war and inaugurate the Temple may it be here soon, and I believe it comes before ....any second now...

    1. Don't worry about Jonathan. He has his place: He's a Levi. Some years ago (maybe just after he arrived home from the exile, 2021-ish?) I watched him being interviewed by Tamar Yonah on video. One of the many things he told her was that he's a Levi on both father's and mother's sides (not that it matters; all it takes is the father).

Unfortunately, I can't find the video on You-Tube, but I'm sure it's there, unless "they" scrubbed it from the internet. I know that I'll be looking for him in the Levite choir be"H, b"n... - HDG

Are you saying that MBY can be someone who has publicly visited Har Habayit (which most Rabbanim nowadays do not allow)?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The Rambam visited Har Habayit. If a person really knows and follows all the pertinent halachot, it is not an issue. The rabbis made a general ban because 1) there is no compelling need to ascend in the absence of the Temple service; 2) most people can't be trusted to know and follow the halachot and the penalty for violation is so very stringent, and 3) in our times it's difficult, if not impossible for some, to have the proper awe of the Place and the Presence . I know because I've witnessed it myself.

I imagine that it is for reasons like this and perhaps the issue of 'violence' connected to settlement activities and against Arabs, etc. that Yehudit wrote: "There will be those that will oppose him, including religious Jews that follow the Torah and its commandments."

For those who see Pollard in that role, the same applies. He expresses 'controversial' ideas like using nukes, etc. to which a lot of religious people would take exception.

    2. I'd add the following to the above: "Some Talmidei Chachamim will begin to recognize him as the savior of Bnei Israel and will join him. Others will only join him much later."

Whomever MBY turns out to be, this makes a lot of sense. No one, not even MBY himself, will know for sure until events transpire and the results are manifested into our reality.

For now, we have well-founded hope and that's not nothing.

  17. From Habayitah blogspot today about MBY: "The Dying Messiah: Traditional sources (e.g., Sukkot 52a) suggest he will die in the war against Gog and Magog. However, the Arizal and Vilna Gaon interpreted scriptures to mean he will not die, but instead endure immense suffering and 999 tests."

    1. Quoting Google...

The obligation to pray for Mashiach ben Yosef (Messiah son of Joseph) not to die is primarily found in Kabbalistic literature and commentaries on the Talmud, specifically in works expanding on Sukkah 52a. The Gemara in Sukkah 52a describes Mashiach ben Yosef being killed in the battle against Armilus, but later sources, such as the Kol HaTor (based on the teachings of the Vilna Gaon), emphasize that through prayer, righteous actions, and repentance, this death can be averted.

      Key details regarding this prayer:

Source of the Risk: The Talmud (Sukkah 52a) discusses the death of Mashiach ben Yosef.

The Counter-Prayer: Later mystics (mekubalim) and commentaries, such as in Kol HaTor, teach that it is our duty to pray that he does not die.

The Goal: The aim is to bridge the gap between Mashiach ben Yosef and Mashiach ben David, turning the potential tragedy into a complete redemption.

Basis for Reversal: It is taught that through intense repentance and the merit of the generation, the decree of his death can be rescinded.

    2. The Rambam states that Mashi'ah Ben David will not die,... at least not until his heir assumes the throne. This is one of the reasons we know that Ben Kuzba (Bar Kokhba) was not Mashi'ah Ben David.

    1. Well, we have possessed it so many times, and given it up. Who knows? Maybe we'll keep it this time. The significance? Southern Lebanon is actually the northern parts of the territories of Asher and Naphtali, which we were granted at the time of Yehoshua Bin Nun. See map here.
