The Ugly Israeli

16 Shevat 5786

In 1963, a movie came out in the US called "The Ugly American" starring Marlon Brando.  It was about American meddling in the affairs of other (lesser) nations.  I guess today it would be called "Democracy Building."

Anyway, with that in mind, I often look at these anti-Torah chilonim and think to myself "The Ugly Israeli".  Here is a perfect example...

The B’Tzalmo organization submitted a formal request on Sunday to Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara demanding the opening of a criminal investigation against a candidate in Yair Golan’s Democrats party on suspicion of incitement to racism and calling for her disqualification.

The request follows footage from a private political gathering posted on social media, showing the candidate presenting demographic data about the Chareidi population and saying, “They double their numbers every 25 years…this means that in 25 years they’ll make up 50 percent of the population—unless we stop it.”

She then claimed that Chareidi birth rates have dropped over the past few years due to financial sanctions. “I can tell you that over the past three years—since sanctions began, since we stopped funding schools without core curriculum studies, and since we stopped subsidizing daycares—birth rates have gone down,” she said. “Now this process must continue.”  (Source)
It's just one example, but these sentiments actually run far and deep in Israeli society.  We really have to keep in mind the fact that this is NOT a Jewish country and it is becoming less so every single day.

Is Israel Still Jewish? The Terrifying Truth Behind the New Aliyah Statistics

Israel to Import 5,000 Foreign Workers to Work as Kindergarten Teachers

  2. One thing I want to add, based on the article above about importing 5000 foreign works for ganim, this isn't just a Cheredi gan issue, it is widespread throughout the country. It is bad enough these workers are from countries that practice Avodah Zara, it is now much worse that our Jewish children will be directly exposed to them.

    1. You can't tell me that there are not 5000 Jewish women (out of two million+ Jews in America) hwo could not have been recruited for these jobs, but they don't even try!!

    2. Exactly, I am sure there are plenty of Jewish women who could fill those jobs. There is definitely more to this than a shortage of workers.

  3. From the most recently released Epstein files...

In his three and a half hour conversation with Jeffrey Epstein and Larry Summers in 2013 former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak also provides an intriguing insight into the racist nature of the Israeli state.

"What's the future of Israel?" asks Summers.

Barak believes Israel needs to wake up "before it is too late." The country, he says, is drifting "along the slippery slope to a one state nation .... with an Arab majority."

The solution? - "To break the monopoly of the orthodox Rabbinate on marriage and funerals and whatever and the definition of a Jew, and accept .... massive conversion into Judaism. In a successful country, many will apply."

In that way "we can control the quality much more effectively." Unlike the founders of Israel who had to accept people "from North Africa, from the Arab ... now we can be selective."

    1. Totally Not surprising this comment came from him.

    2. Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, a far left radical, is caught bragging to Epstein that he repeatedly begged Putin to greenlight the mass importation and mass conversion of a million Russians to Israel.

He openly describes Russians as a superior “quality” compared to the Arab and African Jews Israel absorbed out of necessity, bluntly admitting this was crude social and political engineering designed to dilute Orthodox influence.

Barak leaves no ambiguity about the goal, declaring, “what we need is just one more million to change Israel in a dramatic, dramatic manner, the million Russians.”

  4. I am always more interested in what each one of us can actually do to remedy a situation. Jews REFUSING to make aliya, and Israel filling up wiht goyim are two sides of the same coin. The jewishpress recently had an indepth article about hte economic situation of american frum jews only. The vast majority are doing well, excellently, very well, only thrity percent describe their situation as fair or struggling. Rav Glattstein gave an interview recently, inadvertnely he threw a light on the real reason fro not making aliya, combined iwth the jp article. The real reason they don't make aliya is cos the majority of the community has too much gashmiut, not not enough.
There is parnasa in EY, especially if one can work remotely. There isn't the stupifying, soul destroying levels of gashmiut that most american jews 'enjoy'. They could change the situation in EY. We can't do it all by ourselves. The majority of frum jews have agency, it's a choice not to make aliya. Especially in the current climate with all the signs clamouring for their attention.
I don't know why any the aliya figures are now considered news. It's been known for a while. So do we choose to we part of the solution or not.
As an aside, any Jew in galut wiht money in dollars should urgently transfer some of it to shekels in Israel, whilst it still has some value. The 'mighty' dollar will not save you.

    1. I totally agree with this. Just look at the number of foreign owned apartments in this country it is probably by Frum Jews and the numbers keep going up. It is actually probably better financially for them to buy an apartment as foreign investor than as a citizen. Whenever the government announces Aliyah from North America, they never give the demographic make up. That is because majority of the Jews coming from the US are most likely not Torah Jews. Part of the problem is that you hear many US Rabbis coming out with rationalizations like if everything is not perfect for Aliyah don't go, knowing full well that nothing is perfect. Many of them are also to scared to loose there Kehilot and their cushy jobs. I will say, that Gashmiut here in Eretz Yisrael has also gone up quite a bit since we made Aliyah. Shopping malls are full, Israelis are spending money. I see new Hybrid and Electric vehicles everywhere here. I recently read that Israel has one of the highest number of millionaires per capita of any country and it keeps going up, so I don't think for many wealth Torah Jews Gashmiut is the only reason. They simply don't have the burning desire to come and live here.

  5. Moshiach is coming. Money will not have any value. This will not be a ww2 scenario. U will not need passports. The planet will turn into Isreal. Wherever u live will be fine. This is my story and I’m sticking to it. lol Malky

  6. When I visited to Eretz Yisrael as a teenager it was very difficult to find anything Jewish unless you went to Mea Shearim or Bnei Brak, or spotted a few kippot serugot here and there. These days the situation is very different; we have turned a corner. Whole metropolises are growing up full of Torah observant Jews, young families, children everywhere. The seculars had their plan to make us a nation like all the other nations; Hashem has His plan . Their time has come to an end, but as bad losers they will try anything to fight Hashem. Eli B.

  7. Just from this post alone, it proves what the whole agenda of those in power in Israel and elsewhere is and that is the complete deJudaization of the State, chas v'chalilah. This was the agenda from the beginning of the establishment of the State. They can push their agenda but at the end, they will fail miserably. This also proves that we are so close to Redemption.
They can conspire and plan but it will fail and 'boomerang' on those
who wage this war against the G-D of Israel, the G-D of Creation!
Meanwhile, this is frustrating and frightening, just another part of the process of our Geulah.
This is why the problems with our mortal enemies continue because our people do not learn and do not understand anything and so, they
need to be awakened and sadly, without any relief, as we see the tremendous increase in worldwide anti-semitism.
We must cry out to Hashem that we need our salvation ASAP and nissim (miracles) that all these 'lost' Jews do wake up and realize
that it is time for them to do teshuvah and return to our roots. The
assimilation over the centuries has gone so far that it would be
miraculous for them to return; but they must return in order to not be
    lost forever, c'v.
These problems must be rectified so that our Geulah will come with
mercy from Shamayim for every true Jewish neshama.
