This is relevant for our time - right now!  The nations certainly are confused.  Jets had already taken off when Trump called off the strike and is now back to talking.

What does it mean that Paras/Persia/Iran "will destroy the world?"  Whatever Iran's next move will be, it will lead ultimately to the downfall of the Current World Order and directly lead to the Mashiach World Order.  

The Yalkut Shimoni (Yeshaya 60:499), records the following amazing but scary prophecy regarding the events that will unfold just prior to the Messianic Era: 

Rabbi Yitzchak said: The year in which the King Messiah reveals himself [5786], all the nations of the world will be fighting with each other. The King of Paras [Iran] will fight with the King of Arabia, and the King of Arabia will go to Edom [USA] to seek counsel from them. 

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the country’s de facto leader, spoke to Trump by phone during the week to plead his case, according to a Saudi diplomat and a U.S. official. Salman and the leaders of other U.S. allies in the Middle East were concerned about how Iran would retaliate in the event of U.S. strikes.

Iran had begun warning gulf states that its retaliation would not be as calibrated as it had been after the U.S. attack on its nuclear facilities in June, when Iran telegraphed its intentions and then lobbed roughly a dozen missiles at the al-Udeid Air Base, according to multiple officials.  (Source)

The King of Paras will destroy the entire world,...

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, delivered a particularly aggressive speech today (Saturday), placing direct responsibility for the recent riots in his country on U.S. President Donald Trump. The remarks came, paradoxically, following a public gesture by the American president toward the Iranian regime.

Over the weekend, Trump chose to thank the Iranian leadership on his social media platform, TRUTH Social, after they canceled a long list of scheduled executions. "I greatly respect the fact that all of the executions scheduled for yesterday (over 800) were cancelled by the leadership of Iran. Thank you!" Trump wrote, continuing his refrain from direct military strikes on Iran for the time being.

However, Tehran refused to accept the olive branch. In response, Khamenei launched a harsh attack, claiming the American president’s hands are stained with the blood of those killed in the recent protests.  (Source)

The Jewish people will also be screaming and confused, and will say, "To where shall we come and go? To where shall we come and go?" And G-d will say to them, ‘My children - don’t be afraid - for all that I have done, I only did for your sake. Why are you afraid – the time for your redemption has come!"

At the same time, a nation from the end of the world will be awakened against wicked Rome. And it will make war against her for three months, and many nations will gather there, and they will fall by her hand, until all the children of Edom will gather against her from all corners of the earth. And then G-d will awaken Himself against them, as it says, a “a sacrificial slaughter for the Lord in Batzra”, and it says, “to shake the corners of the Land”.

And after this, the children of Yishmael will be finished from the world. And all the supernal powers of the nations will be broken, and no power will remain above except for the power of Israel alone.  (Source)

DANIEL'S TEN TOES / HORNS?

There has been a really huge, and quite shocking, development, which while currently centered on Gaza, holds the potential for very far-reaching consequences.  It has been in the works for awhile but the details are only just now coming to light.  Donald Trump is "unveiling" this plan in its entirety as his own initiative at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 - the end of the first year of his second administration.

I hardly know where to begin.  This will require patience on the readers' part because it's going to be long and detailed but it may be the most important blog post I have ever written.  A major change is about to be implemented, starting with Gaza.  Please stick with it to the end.

Following first is an excerpt from a Ha'aretz report on Trump's Friday announcement...

Trump Announces Gaza Board of Peace After U.S. Declares Move to Phase Two of Cease-fire

President Donald Trump announced early Friday the creation of a Board of Peace that he said will administer the Gaza Strip, according to a post on his social media platform, Truth Social.

"It is my Great Honor to announce that THE BOARD OF PEACE has been formed," Trump wrote. He did not name the board's members, saying details "will be announced shortly."

Trump also reiterated that the process has moved to a second phase of an agreement to end the war. "We have OFFICIALLY entered the next phase of Gaza's 20-Point Peace Plan," he said.

As chair of the Board of Peace, Trump said he supports a Palestinian technocratic committee appointed this week to manage Gaza during what he described as a period of transition. "These Palestinian leaders are unwaveringly committed to a PEACEFUL future," he said.

Trump said the United States, working with Egypt, Turkey and Qatar, would ensure the disarmament of Hamas, the surrender of all the group's weapons and the dismantling of tunnels in the territory.

"Hamas must IMMEDIATELY honor its commitments, including the return of the final body to Israel, and proceed without delay to full Demilitarization," he said, referring to the remains of the last remaining hostage, Ran Gvili. "As I have said before, they can do this the easy way, or the hard way."

"The people of Gaza have suffered long enough," Trump added. "The time is NOW."

Senior U.S. officials said late Thursday in a briefing with reporters that Washington sent formal invitations to countries to join the Board of Peace on Wednesday.

Because of the short time frame, the officials said, it is likely that no formal responses have yet been received regarding the board's composition. However, Britain's Times newspaper reported several days ago that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is expected to be a member.

According to a source who spoke earlier this week with the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, the administration was also expected to circulate the board's charter along with the invitations.

The U.S. officials said the Board of Peace is expected to be formally unveiled at the World Economic Forum in Davos, which convenes next week.

As previously reported by Haaretz, the charter circulated to countries could include language that would allow the Board of Peace to expand its mandate to address other conflicts around the world, effectively replacing the United Nations – a prospect that has raised concerns and opposition among both Arab and Western countries.

"Everyone is in a celebratory mood," one senior official said, referring to the move to phase two announced earlier this week by Witkoff. "And since it happens to coincide with Davos, it seems the circumstances have aligned."

The officials also said the White House is seeking to improve relations between Israel and Turkey in connection with Gaza. The Turks, one official said, "certainly have influence over Hamas. We want to see Turkey and Israel begin to rebuild their relationship, and we believe that can happen. I hope we can get both sides to soften their rhetoric, focus on interests and see the advantages both countries would gain from working together."

In announcing the transition to phase two of the plan to end the war, Witkoff also announced the establishment of a Palestinian committee to administer Gaza. "We are announcing the launch of Phase Two ... moving from cease-fire to demilitarization, technocratic governance, and reconstruction," he said. Witkoff stressed that the United States expects Hamas "to comply fully with its obligations, including the immediate return of the final deceased hostage. Failure to do so will bring serious consequences."

Almost simultaneously with Witkoff's announcement, the Palestinian Authority and Palestinian factions, led by Hamas, issued separate statements expressing support for the committee and the move to phase two. The U.S. State Department even shared a post by Palestinian Authority Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh.

Israel, by contrast, refrained from issuing an official response. A statement from the prime minister's office focused on continued efforts to locate the body of hostage Ran Gvili and downplayed Witkoff's announcement, describing it in passing as a "declarative move."

The announcement of the Board of Peace had been scheduled for Monday but was postponed. Sources familiar with the matter told Haaretz at the time that the delay was due to the White House's desire to "tie up loose ends" on various issues related to the board. The Board of Peace is expected to oversee the work of the technocratic committee, and for the committee to begin operating, its members must formally receive their letters of appointment from the board.

The Board of Peace is expected to be structured hierarchically. At its top, symbolic-diplomatic level, Trump himself would sit, alongside the leaders of the three mediating countries – Egypt, Turkey and Qatar – as well as the leaders of the U.K. and France. Haaretz has learned that Germany was also asked to join the board and is considering the request favorably. 

At the second level would be an executive committee, expected to include Nikolay Mladenov, the Bulgarian diplomat designated to head the board's executive arm; Witkoff; the president's son-in-law Jared Kushner; World Bank President Ajay Banga; and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. Under the executive committee would be officials responsible for day-to-day coordination with the Palestinian technocratic committee.  (Source)

Let's turn now to the declaration of "Technocratic Governance."  This does not bode well for the future of Democracy.  Be warned.  It's a shocker.

A technocratic government is a system where leaders are chosen for their specialized knowledge (like science, economics, or engineering) rather than political popularity, aiming to solve complex societal problems with expert-driven, data-based solutions, contrasting with traditional democracy's focus on elected representatives and public opinion. This model emphasizes efficiency, using scientific methods to manage society, but faces criticism for being undemocratic and potentially ignoring public will, often appearing during crises when traditional politics falter.

Key Characteristics: 

Rule by Experts: Governance is handled by technocrats (experts in specific fields) like economists, scientists, or engineers.

Data-Driven Decisions: Policy is based on objective data, analysis, and methodology rather than ideology or political expediency. 

Focus on Efficiency: The goal is to manage society like a technical problem, minimizing waste and bureaucracy.

Contrast with Democracy: It prioritizes competence and skill over popular vote or political affiliation in selecting leaders.

Criticisms:  The primary criticism of technocracy is that it is undemocratic.  Critics argue that it lacks accountability because leaders are appointed rather than elected by the people.  It may prioritize mathematical efficiency over human values and social welfare.  It can create an elitist "knowledge gap" between governing experts and the general public.

Is it possible that this is what Trump had in mind when he hinted that there could be a way to extend his term in office and also why he has declared that mid-term elections in November 2026 are not a good idea?  Is Democracy on the way out?

The fourth kingdom will be as strong as iron: Just as iron crumbles and flattens everything, and as iron shatters all these, it will crumble and shatter. The feet and the toes that you saw, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron: It will be a divided kingdom...

Abarbanel: The lands of the Roman Empire came to be dominated by Edom and Yishmael, represented by Chr*stianity and Islam. Both - one as strong as iron, the other as weak as clay - comprise the latter day "fourth kingdom".

... in the days of these kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom forever, it will not be destroyed, and the kingdom will not be left to another people; it will crumble and destroy all these kingdoms, and it will stand forever.

Israel's redemption is not merely the story of one more people's national liberation. Israel's Exodus from Egypt ushered in a new era – a divine nation was established, as well as a purpose for the world.  The mission of this liberated nation is Kiddush Hashem, and the erasing of the heresy of chillul Hashem, of [Pharaoh's words]  "I do not know Hashem."  Therefore, had Hashem Himself not brought our forefathers out of Egypt with this intention, then even had a good king freed them, it would have been meaningless, because it would not have led to the establishment of that divine nation, and the fulfillment of its glorious destiny.

The Exodus had to be implemented, directly and unequivocally, by G-d and not through any agent, because the battle here is a paradigm of all subsequent history, the basis for Israel's faith throughout their generations – the knowledge of Hashem, versus “I do not know Hashem”.  It is concerning this struggle that G-d promises, “I will execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt.”

This is a religious war: the G-d of Israel versus the gods of the nations [and, one has to add, against Israel's trust in the nations!]  Just as Israel was redeemed from Egypt without having to turn to any outside party or human ally (which was precisely what the Egyptians originally feared : “If war breaks out, they will join our enemies, fight against us, and leave the country” [Ex. 1:10]), so must we understand that in our generation, too, G-d is Israel's sole Redeemer – not Lord Arthur Balfour, not the United Nations, not the U.S.A.

This fits well into my scenario - that Iran will make the first strike which is why the midrash says:  "...and Paras will go and destroy the whole world."

Trump and Netanyahu have shown fear and weakness.  This is practically an invitation for Iran, especially given the significance of tonight's date.  Not only is it their holy weekly worship day, but it is also a major Islamic holiday:  "The Birthday of Islam"!  How auspicious for them!!

Eid al-Mab'ath: January 16, 2026 in Iran (commemorates Prophet Muhammad's night journey and ascension). It is a major religious occasion where Shia Muslims gather for prayers, feasts in holy cities like Qom and Mashhad, and spiritual events marking this significant day. This day is a public holiday in many Muslim countries, with Iran observing it with significant religious fervor.

Eid al-Mab'ath (or Day of Bi'tha) is a significant Islamic holiday celebrated on the 27th of Rajab (lunar calendar) commemorating the day Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received his first divine revelation from the Angel Gabriel in the Cave of Hira, marking the start of his prophethood and mission to spread Islam as God's final messenger. It's a joyous occasion, particularly in Iran, marked by prayers, gatherings in mosques, and reflection on moral and spiritual growth, symbolizing humanity's guidance from darkness to light.

Eid al-Mab'ath commemorates one of the most significant events in Islamic history: the day the Prophet Muhammad received his first divine revelation and was appointed as the final messenger of God. This event marks the beginning of the Prophet's mission to spread Islam to humanity.

If I were a religious Muslim, I would surely take Trump's backdown as a sign.

Maritime shipping headed into Iranian waters are holding their positions pending potential military action. There has been a large-scale evacuation of American personnel from Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. Some European airlines have canceled flights. Public shelters have been opened in Dimona, Beersheva, Ashqelon, Nahariya and Eilat. Iron dome defenses have been stationed in Jerusalem neighborhoods. Parts of the Nevatim Air Base in the Negev are being evacuated. Order 8 emergency call-up notices to reserve soldiers has begun. Israel is at its highest level of alert.

My Last Word on the Subject

We just read in last week's parashah Paro's excuse for genocide of Jewish-born baby boys.  "Jews are a threat to us."  There were Jewish NAZIS in Germany; meaning they voted for Hitler's anti-leftist policies and identified 100% as a loyal, patriotic German citizen.

It didn't help them then and it won't help now.  Criminal elements among illegal immigrants is supposedly the target today.  Something every citizen can rally around.  Nevertheless, American citizens are being caught up in the sweeps and held for days without recourse - all civil rights denied to them.  The next targeted group - and there is always another group and another - could be you.  

The covenant every Jew has with HKB"H is that we WILL remain separate and apart from the nations.  If we do not maintain it, they will do it for us.  

Mashiach is here, the final exile is ending.  America will NEVER be great again.  It will lie destroyed like Egypt.  How many will agree to leave and how many will disappear into the darkness?  The warning signs are appearing everywhere!!

If you want out and don't see a way out, are you begging HKB"H day and night for a solution???

The US Has Gone Full-On NAZI

I don't know how many of you follow the news from abroad, but while a lot of the reportage is focused on the protests in Iran and the oppressive measures the regime there is using against the public, the same thing is going on in the United States.  Under the direction of Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers are abusing their limitless powers and committing public executions without consequence.  Note the slogan attached to the lectern at a recent press conference.

The phrase "One of ours, all of yours" emerged in early January 2026 as a controversial slogan appearing on U.S. government podiums during press conferences led by Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.

The meaning behind the phrase is widely interpreted as a message of collective responsibility and retaliation:

Context of Use: It was first prominently displayed following the fatal shooting of a legal observer by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. During the address, the slogan was used to shift focus to a separate, earlier incident where a federal agent had been shot, framing the new slogan as a response to such acts.

The "Ours" vs. "Yours" Dynamic: Critics and historians interpret "ours" as referring to federal agents and "yours" as referring to the citizenry. The implication is that harm to one federal agent (one of ours) would result in a retaliatory response against the broader public (all of yours).

Historical Associations: Many commentators have linked the phrase to a Nazi-era policy of collective punishment. Specifically, it has been compared to the ideology behind the 1942 Lidice massacre, where Nazi forces executed an entire village in retaliation for the assassination of an SS officer.

...a recent slogan used by a U.S. government agency drew strong comparisons to a German Nazi phrase. The phrase in question was "One Homeland. One People. One Heritage."

In January 2026, the U.S. Department of Labor shared a social media post with the slogan "One Homeland. One People. One Heritage." The language drew immediate and widespread condemnation because it closely mirrors the infamous Nazi Germany slogan: Nazi Slogan: Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer (meaning "One People, One Realm/Empire, One Leader").

Critics, including X's AI chatbot Grok, noted the chilling parallel, highlighting how the Nazi slogan was a central piece of propaganda used to emphasize national unity and the cult of Adolf Hitler.

In this case, it's the cult of Trump!!
