"The Holy Land Will Not Fall Into the Hands of Edom"

Israel Realtime

Trump’s “Day After Gaza” Plan Revealed:
The Washington Post has outlined details of President Trump’s ambitious vision for Gaza, presented last week at the White House. The plan seeks to completely replace Hamas rule and reshape Gaza into what Trump described as the “Riviera of the Middle East.” Key points include:
1. American Trusteeship: A ten-year U.S. trusteeship would oversee Gaza’s governance, aiming to stabilize and rebuild the territory before eventually handing authority to local forces.
2. Mass Relocation: Gaza’s roughly two million residents would either relocate internally to designated zones or move abroad. Those moving abroad would receive a $5,000 grant, four years of rent assistance, and one year of food subsidies—an extraordinary incentive given local economic conditions.
3. Smart Cities & Development: The plan envisions six to eight AI-based smart cities, luxury tourism resorts, industrial zones, and upgraded infrastructure. Funding would come through the GREAT Trust (Gaza Reconstitution, Economic Acceleration, and Transformation), relying on public-private investment with major contributions expected from Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The U.S. favors Qatar’s involvement, though Israel remains hesitant.
4. Security Framework: The IDF would maintain overarching security authority, while private contractors and third-country forces handle ground operations. Within about a decade, daily security responsibilities would transfer to vetted local forces.
5. No Palestinian State: The plan deliberately omits any reference to a Palestinian state. Instead, it is structured strictly as a U.S.–Israel agreement, emphasizing a controlled, long-term rebuilding process without political concessions.

Justice Upholds the World

5 Elul 5785
Erev Shabbat Kodesh
Parashat Shoftim

Judges and officers shall you appoint in all your cities - which Hashem, your God, gives you - for your tribes; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment.  You shall not pervert judgment, you shall not respect someone's presence, and you shall not accept a bribe, for the bribe will blind the eyes of the wise and make just words crooked.   Righteousness, righteousness shall you pursue, so that you will live and possess the Land that Hashem, your God, gives you.  (Devarim 16.18-20)

From the Stone Edition Chumash Commentary...

Establishment of just courts: Previously, the Torah implied that there had to be standing courts to resolve disputes (Exodus 21:22, 22:28); here the Torah gives the formal command that such courts be established in every city of Eretz Yisrael, with a Sanhedrin, or high court, for each tribe.  In addition to judges, the Torah requires the appointment of officers of the court, who would have the responsibility to enforce the decisions of the judges, and would circulate in the markets and streets to enforce standards of honesty and summon violators to the court for adjudication (Rambam, Hil. Sanhedrin; Ramban).

Most of the Sidrah deals with commandments directed to the leaders of the nation, because their conduct has a powerful influence on the rest of the people, for good or bad (Sforno).  In addition, the Torah warns very forcefully that decisions of the Sanhedrin must be obeyed (17:10-13), for God granted its Sages the power to interpret the Torah's laws on a day-to-day basis.  If there were to be a breakdown of respect for their interpretation, the downfall of the nation could not be far behind; such a breakdown would lead to anarchy, with the Torah being fragmented into many Torahs (Ramban to 17:11).

They shall judge ... with righteous judgment:  The mere appointment of personages to staff the courts is not sufficient; they must be qualified and righteous, so that they will judge honestly and correctly (Rashi).  If the community has a hand in appointing unqualified judges, God holds them all responsible for the resultant perversions of justice (Or HaChaim).

(BH FILMS) GOG U'MAGOG WAR

War of the Worlds

THIS Is Exile, Too!

4 Elul 5785

Just like when we were ruled by the Greeks or the Romans!

Trump expressed hope that a full conquest could be avoided and an agreement reached beforehand.

Tony Blair and Jared Kushner participated in a meeting on Gaza at the White House on Wednesday and presented President Trump with ideas for a post-war plan,....

▪️EGYPT TRAINING PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY TO TAKE OVER GAZA? Wall Street Journal: Egypt has begun training Palestinians to be part of a force of up to 10,000 soldiers who will 'provide security' for the Gaza Strip, and in fact will control it in the day after the war. According to the report, most of the recruits will come from the Palestinian Authority security services in the West Bank.

Exile will end when we are free of the domination of the nations...
The idea is most famously articulated in the teachings of Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag, also known as the Baal HaSulam, who focused on Kabbalistic and Hasidic thought in the early 20th century. His work elaborated on the distinctions between the state of exile (galut) and the state of redemption (geulah).

Key elements of this theological concept:

The nature of exile (galut): In this view, exile is not defined solely by the physical dispersion of the Jewish people. It is fundamentally a spiritual state of subjugation where the Jewish people and the divine are subject to the will of other nations and forces. This involves both physical oppression and spiritual concealment.

The nature of redemption (geulah): Redemption is the restoration of freedom and honor. It is a state where the Jewish people live in their own land, their sovereignty is established, and God's glory is revealed to the world. It is the spiritual and physical reversal of the conditions of exile.

The central distinction: The core difference lies in the shift from being a subjugated people under the rule of others to a sovereign nation with self-determination. This transition from domination to self-rule signifies the end of the exiled state and the beginning of the redeemed one.  (Source: Google)

This situation of complete sovereignty has never yet been realized in the modern era.  The State of Israel has only always been a vassal state.  May the end of this war realize the vision of complete sovereignty of Jews in the Land of Israel - a Final End to Exile!

You Can't Improve on Perfection

3 Elul 5785

There are still some points to be taken from last week's parshah before we move on.  I'm hearing more and more so-called rabbis undermining the importance and centrality of mitzvot to our avodat Hashem.  So, hear this well and don't be mislead...

See, I present before you today a blessing and a curse.  The blessing:  that you hearken to the commandments of Hashem, your God, that I command you today.  And the curse:  if you do not hearken to the commandments of Hashem, your God, and you stray from the path that I command you today, to follow gods of others, that you did not know.  (Devarim 11.26-28)

The next three Sidros (Re'eh, Shoftim, and Ki Seizei) contain the bulk of the commandments found in Deuteronomy.  Up to now, Moses mentioned such fundamental commandments as love and fear of God, and general exhortations against idolatry, and delivered inspirational sermons stressing the people's duty toward God and their obligation to live up to the holiness of the Land (Chizkuni).  He begins this recitation by putting the commandments into perspective, saying that the choice of whether or not to accept the Torah in its totality is nothing less than the choice between blessing and curse.

...The blessing will come to you only on the condition that you hearken [תשמעו] to the commandments (Rashi).

Homiletically, "hearing" is a metaphor for blessing, because the only way a person can attain God's blessings is if he has the ability to hear, i. e. assimilate what the Torah wants of him.  (Stone Commentary)

Safeguard and hearken to all these words that I command you, in order that it be well with you and your children after you forever; when you do what is good and right [the mitzvot] in the eyes of Hashem, your God.

...The entire word that I command you, that shall you observe to do; you shall not add to it and you shall not subtract from it.  (Devarim 12.28-13.1)

...One who seeks to "improve" the Torah by adding new commandments runs the risk that what human intelligence considers an honor to God may be an abomination in His eyes.

[In this generation, we suffer severely from people who believe we should be more "moral" than Hashem.]

...By definition, it is impossible to improve upon perfection.  For one to add to the Torah implies that God has fallen short, which is as disrespectful as saying that this or that commandment is wrong or irrelevant.  (Stone Commentary)

War By Other Means

1 Elul 5785
Rosh Chodesh Bet

The Bila'am Plan

When Balak built his altars overlooking the Israelite camp, it was the beginning of his war on Klal Yisrael, but they had no inkling of it as yet.  Not a shot had been fired because this war was being fought in the spiritual realm.

"...please come and curse this people for me, for they are too powerful for me. Perhaps I will be able to wage war against them and drive them out of the land, for I know that whomever you bless is blessed and whomever you curse is cursed." (Bamidbar 22.6

Balaam said to Balak,  "Build me seven altars here...."  (Bamidbar 23.1)

Rashi says these seven altars corresponded to the seven altars built by our Patriarchs - Avraham Avinu built four; Yitzchak Avinu built one; and, Ya'aqov Avinu built two.

Bila'am's plan was to cause Klal Yisrael to sin via immorality and idolatry [the two usually go together], thereby provoking God's wrath and removing their Divine protection in preparation for the fighting war.  (See Bamidbar 25, Sanhedrin 106a)

The Blessing and the Curse

This past Shabbat's parsha began with the subject of blessing and curse.

"Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse.  The blessing, that you will heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today; and the curse, if you will not heed the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn away from the way I command you this day, to follow other gods, which you did not know.

And it will be, when the Lord, your God, will bring you to the land to which you come, to possess it, that you shall place those blessing upon Mount Gerizim, and those cursing upon Mount Ebal.

It's notable that within this admonition about the curse in parashat Re'eh, it takes care to emphasize idolatry in the context of binging upon us a curse.

How interesting, too, how the Chr*stian enemy is obsessed with the Abrahamic promise:

"... I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse, and all the families of the earth shall be blessed in you." (Breishit 12.3)

But, the similarities don't stop there.

Hayovel built their center of Chr*stian worship davka, as they like to boast, on Mount Gerizim.  Where blessing was meant to sprout, a curse has taken rooted!!

Additionally, the late Chr*stian Dominionist leader Jack Hayford built four altars across the Land to mimic Avraham Avinu, apparently not realizing that these are more in line with Balak's altars!

"...On the prayer pilgrimages I have led in Israel, we built four altars based upon God’s Word to Jacob (Gen. 35). At each one we sang, worshiped, and prayed...."  (Source)

They are now places of pilgrimage for Chr*stians to practice their avodah zarah.  These are their locations...

  • Western Altar - Caesaria National Park (GPS: 32.515472, 34.898285)
  • Northern Altar - Tel Fakher (GPS: 33.225250, 35.691055
  • Eastern Altar - near Argaman Industrial Area (GPS: 32.16041, 35.51267)
  • Southern Altar - near Wadi Rahby Camping Area (GPS: 31.283020,35.369217)

I've been told that this year, the International Chr*stian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) feast tour will worship at the four altars!

Consider this account from one of the participants at the October 2023 ICEJ feast tour:
ICEJ brought over 600 Christians on a solidarity visit to this very kibbutz [Be'eri] just two days before the Hamas invasion. While there, we dedicated the new “Christian Embassy Nature Park” and planted trees and tulips only 150 meters from the Gaza border to re-green burned parts of the Be’eri Forest. Yet this very spot is where scores of terrorists broke through the security fence and carried out the massacres at Kibbutz Be’eri and the nearby music festival close to Re’im. So we feel a special obligation to help the stunned residents of Be’eri to recover and rebuild their lives.
And back to the scene of the crime in 2025:
"This year, the Feast of Tabernacles will open with a gathering near the Gaza border to honor those fallen and encourage rebuilding the communities."

"There is nothing sweeter than worshiping at Biblical landmarks…"

We have the Torah record as proof that the Bila'am Plan works!  And here is the proof that it continues to be used against us up until today!!

Thousands upon thousands of Chr*stian pilgrims descend upon us in an invasionary force every year at the Fall "Feasts" just like GoguMagog is meant to do.

Is it possible that their avodah zarah at the four borders of our land are bringing a curse upon us, leaving us open to a greater invasion yet to come, God forbid!!!

From the Stone Edition Chumash commentary on parashat Re'eh...

To illustrate "those who stray" [Devarim 11.28], the Torah cites idolatry, because one who worships an idol is considered as if he had repudiated the entire Torah (Rashi), for idolatry is a rejection of God.

However, we also learn from the kibbutz who locked their gates to preserve the sanctity of Shabbat and escaped the curse and remained blessed.  So may every Jew and Jewish family and Jewish community survive and thrive despite the attempts to bring us down.

After all, the curse only had its effect when we fell prey to their schemes.  Our fate is in our own hands.  It's OUR choice - the blessing or the curse.

What Will Elul Bring Us?

30 Menachem Av 5785
Rosh Chodesh Aleph

And the War on Torah continues.  Without shame, without yirat Shamayim...

In 2023, gender-segregated Yom Kippur prayers nearly brought Tel Aviv to a standstill. Now the city, often hailed as Israel’s bastion of secularism, finds itself in the middle of a quieter but no less charged dispute: a legal struggle over the status and character of its synagogues.

Tel Aviv has hundreds of synagogues, many dating back before the founding of the state. Some were built on privately purchased land, others on plots allocated by the city. About 130 of them, however, suffer from faulty or incomplete registration, leaving the land listed under municipal ownership.

That bureaucratic detail has given the city leverage. In recent months, officials began quietly approaching dozens of synagogues with new lease agreements that commit them to operate on the principle of equality—“without distinctions of gender or faith.” Congregations worry that such language could be used to challenge their Orthodox practices. Some agreed to sign; those who refused have been hit with eviction lawsuits.

The new contracts stipulate that each synagogue must provide services to “all residents of the neighborhood and nearby areas without distinctions of age, gender, or faith,” and that the style of prayer must be set by its managing committee accordingly. No activity deviating from this purpose would be allowed.

Among the institutions affected are the Great Synagogue on Modigliani Street, once led by Rabbi Shlomo Goren, the IDF’s famed chief rabbi who blew the shofar at the Western Wall in 1967, and Rabbi Israel Meir Lau’s synagogue on Smuts Street.

Courtroom battles
Those resisting the city’s demands are already finding themselves in court. In one case, the rabbinical court ruled that Tiferet Zvi Synagogue on Herman Cohen Street was a religious endowment, preventing a municipal takeover. The city has appealed to the High Court of Justice to overturn that decision.

City Hall argues synagogues are public resources akin to community centers, and therefore it must oversee their use. One official put it bluntly: “It cannot be that in a completely secular neighborhood a synagogue stands empty except on Saturdays, when ultra-Orthodox worshippers arrive from outside, instead of the building being used for local needs.”

Worshippers counter that the equality clause would erase the Orthodox character of their congregations, outlawing gender separation and potentially obliging them to accommodate non-Orthodox or even non-Jewish prayer....

Of False Prophets and Idolaters

28 Menachem Av 5785
Erev Shabbat Kodesh
Parashat Re'eh

The Midrash says on Parashat Re'eh:
...Moshe explained to the Jews: "Eretz Canaan is full of objects pertaining to idol worship. You cannot build a Land of holiness, with a Beit Hamikdash in its midst, while surrounded by the artifacts of idolatry."

"Eliminate everything associated with idolatry - such as altars, stones, or trees - by whatever method is most effective. Demolish them, burn them, or cast them into the sea. Leave no trace of idolatry! If a place was named after idols, change its name."
While it is a mitzvah to eliminate idols in any country (where Jews have the legal power to do so), in Eretz Yisrael the obligation goes further: The Jews are required not only to destroy all known idols, but must search for and demolish all the hidden ones as well.

The Torah repeatedly emphasizes that idolatry is the severest of sins. There could be no greater audacity than using one's intellect, which is capable of inferring the presence of the Creator, to deny G-d's uniqueness and attribute the vast intelligence that obviously activates all of creation to powers other than Him [even another human being.]

...The Torah declares that besides the inherent evil of worshiping idols, G-d hates the wicked rites of the idolaters. A Jew must therefore distance himself from all idolatrous practices.

...Moshe warned the Jews, "If any 'prophet' - whether Jewish or otherwise - ever arises in your midst and claims that a deity other than Hashem gave him a prophetic message, or even claims that Hashem Himself ordered the permanent abrogation of any mitzva of the Torah, know that he is an imposter. ...Do not attribute any truth to his words, even if he performs wonders in heaven or on earth. [Even if he says he is here to "stand with Israel."] ...G-d is testing your loyalty to Him.

...The Torah enacts very strict laws against a maisis, a (Jewish) "instigator" or "missionary" who attempts to persuade our people to accept strange gods.

He is not included in the law of "loving a fellow Jew." Rather, it is a mitzva to hate him, in accordance with "Hashem, do I not hate those who hate You?" (Tehillim 39.21) He may also not be judged favorably, not treated mercifully, and in his case, Beit Din is exempt from its usual obligation to find exonerating factors for someone condemned to death.
...Rambam comments, "By not favoring a rasha and not covering up for him, we bring peace upon the Jewish people."

Even if you want to say that Chr*stianity is allowed to the gentiles - it is NOT ALLOWED to gentiles in Eretz Yisrael!! And even if you believe that they have "pure" motives, we are forbidden to allow them to perform Chr*stian worship on holy soil. How much more so to invite them to do so and to participate in it or even observe it!

In Sefer HaMitzvot it is written, "It is a negative commandment 213 not to turn astray after idol-worship, neither in thought nor in word, nor even by watching."

Sefer HaChinuch Negative Commandment 426 - "show no mercy to idol-worshippers (we should have no kind feelings for those who worship idols, and nothing about them should be good or pleasing in our eyes; in other words, we should remove far from our mind, and it should not [ever] arise in our speech, that there could be anything of value in one who worships in idolatry, and he should find no grace or favor in our eyes)
I've said this before, but it's worth saying again and again and again if I can get this idea across. The extent to which this sounds harsh or extreme to you is the extent to which you have assimilated Western values which stand in contradiction to Torah law.

Hashem says His thoughts are above our thoughts. It's up to us to align ourselves with the Torah and not to try to change it to fit "the times." We've become too complacent about this matter and too accepting of Chr*stianity even to the point of denying that is even idolatry.

It is absolutely abhorrent to HKB"H and for that very reason, so should it be to us as well!!

~ Shabbat Shalom - Chodesh Tov ~

URGENT: WORLDWIDE CALL TO FAST AND PRAY

27 Menachem Av 5785
Yom Kippur Katan

We stand on three pillars - Eretz Yisrael, Am Yisrael and Torat Yisrael.  WW1 was about taking control of Eretz Yisrael out of the hands of the Jews; WW2 was about mass murder annihilation of Am Yisrael, leaving WW3 to be the one focused on destroying the Torah.  Believe it or don't believe it, but we are in WW3 - the third war of GoguMagog - and it started on Simchat Torah to bring home that point.  It is now culminating in the all-out war on the Torah world - the rabbis, yeshivahs and yeshivah students.

The great irony of it is that they are using the war they launched and mismanaged all the way through as the main excuse to go after them.  I'm not going to detail all the abuses of power and lies and organized media incitement.  I'm not going to go through all the reasons why the yeshivah students are neither needed nor guilty of either "draft dodging" or "desertion."  Either you know or you don't.  Either you support the Torah world as a legitimate part of our national defense or you don't.  Either you recognize that this is a major move toward spiritual shmad or you don't.  If you don't, I can't help you.  If you just hate chareidim and only need a good excuse for it, I can't help you.

What might help is to understand the reality of what is happening here - that this is a war on Torah, the final test for who will merit to enter the Messianic Era.

It's time to make a final decision, choose your side and take a stand that registers in Shamayim!!

TODAY is Yom Kippur Katan for Rosh Chodesh Elul, the beginning of the 45-day countdown.  All the Torah leaders around the world have agreed together to call for a day of fasting and prayer as the appropriate response to the criminalization of Torah students.  It is highly significant also for the fact that the move toward attempting to conquer Gaza City is beginning.  60,000 call-ups have reportedly been issued today.  This is not just about yeshivah students, it's about what comes next for the future of all Jews everywhere!

Your decision whether to participate in the Yom Tefillah (in whatever way you are able) or to remain apart from your brothers and look upon them with condemnation could very well determine what comes next for you personally.  We are approaching the point at which HKB"H is going to openly intervene.

Here is what you need to know...

In light of intensifying conscription efforts and the arrests of yeshiva bochurim, Gedolei Yisroel have called for massive atzeros tefillah to be held in cities and towns across the country this Thursday.

Harav Dov Landau shlit”a and Harav Moshe Hillel Hirsch shlit”a issued a joint letter urging Klal Yisroel to gather b’rabim and cry out in tefillah and tachanunim to annul the decrees threatening the olam hatorah.

According to the plan, instead of one massive atzeres in Yerushalayim, there will be simultaneous gatherings held “b’rochovos ha’ir” throughout the country.

This follows the historic gathering of Gedolei Yisroel — both Litvish and Chassidish — in Ma’aleh HaChamisha, where it was proclaimed that Thursday would be a yom tefillah for all of Klal Yisroel.

In their announcement, the Gedolim called to dedicate Erev Rosh Chodesh Elul as a full yom tefillah and hisorerus. Every individual is asked to add special tefillos, do teshuvah, work on middos, and increase their limud Torah, so that the gezeirah should be torn up. As part of the day, there is a call for bitul melachah, with Yidden refraining from regular work unless absolutely compelled by an employer. From the age of fifteen and up, all who are able should fast for half the day, while those who cannot fast should do a pidyon with tzedakah. Yidden in chutz la’aretz are likewise urged to join in fasting, giving tzedakah, and davening, so that together Klal Yisroel will cry out to Hashem to annul the decree and bring rachamim and yeshuah.

The Badatz of the Eidah HaChareidis likewise issued a public call to dedicate Erev Rosh Chodesh Elul as a yom tefillah, urging all who are able to fast a half-day and to daven for the removal of the harsh gezeirah.

Jews in Antwerp, London, Paris and New York set to protest ‘religious persecution’ of yeshiva students Thursday, with domestic prayer rallies to be held in Bnei Brak and Jerusalem

Ultra-Orthodox leaders have called for an international day of prayer and fasting on Thursday in response to recent government efforts to conscript ultra-Orthodox yeshiva students and arrest those who ignore government orders to enlist.

Rabbi Dov Lando, the spiritual leader of Degel HaTorah, one of the factions of the Haredi United Torah Judaism party, issued a public appeal to Jews around the world to treat the day as if it were Yom Kippur Katan, a minor fast day in which worshipers recite prayers usually read on the Jewish Day of Atonement.

In the United States and Europe, Haredi Jews are “preparing to tear open the gates of heaven to overturn the conscription decree that threatens the Torah world,” party newspaper Yated Neeman declared on its front page on Tuesday, quoting Lando as saying that “Jews are persecuting Jews because they are learning Torah.”

Ultra-Orthodox newspaper Hamodia, seen as a mouthpiece for UTJ’s Hasidic Agudat Yisrael faction, likewise called for a “day of prayer, fasting and the cessation of work to cancel the decree of forced conscription and religious persecution” on Thursday.

Despite the ongoing war in Gaza and the plight of the hostages held by Hamas in the Strip, the State of Israel has “found the time to persecute Torah students” and “deprive them of their civil rights,” the paper declared.

Prayer rallies are expected across Israel, with mass gatherings in Bnei Brak and Jerusalem slated to take place.

The Bnei Brak religious council, a taxpayer-funded government body, was listed as one of the backers of an anti-enlistment event Thursday morning.

The event, set to take place at the central city’s Yeshua L’yehuda yeshiva, will consist of ideological encouragement for “the holy and mighty yeshiva and kollel students in the face of the conscription decrees,” a promotion for the event stated, using Biblical language used to reference soldiers and other fighting men.

The religious councils is one of three organizations listed as backers of the event, which will feature several top Haredi rabbis, including former chief Sephardic rabbi and current Shas party spiritual leader Yitzhak Yosef, a staunch opponent of military service for yeshiva students.

...According to the HaMevaser newspaper, which is affiliated with another wing of Agudat Yisrael, prayer rallies are set to be held in Antwerp, London, Paris, New York, Chicago, Miami and elsewhere. The paper called on everyone aged 15 and older to fast for half the day, while stating that those unable to do so should donate to charity in an effort to appeal to God to “hasten their redemption by canceling the decree.”
However, be warned. Don't let this be you! Don't stumble in the final hour by taking your eyes off of HKB"H and placing trust in "Egypt."

When you pray, please have the kavannah for the cancellation of the gezeirah of exile!!  It is too small-minded to speak only of a cessation of the persecution of Torah students.  Every true Jew is suffering from the exile from our Torah - from the inability to put into practice what we learn from it, all the mitzvot that the State refuses to allow us to perform, including ending this war the way HKB"H has already prescribed!!  And so may it be His will.  Mashiach will come when we are willing to heed his voice.  Let's prove that we are ready.

The Regime Is Being Run By A Bunch of Losers

26 Menachem Av 5785

As I've said before, this government can't take us where we need to go.  It can't win because it doesn't have what it takes to win, and yet it also can't lose or they are done, so we are just spinning like tops getting nowhere fast. They are done though, they just don't know it yet, or they know and refuse to accept it.

It's prime time for Mashiach!!

From Israel Realtime Updates...

🟥 Tensions rose among Israeli ministers ahead of a key government vote, as more than half a billion shekels were cut from ministries and coalition agreements. The move drew sharp criticism from within the coalition.

At the same time, the government approved a massive 30.8 billion shekel increase for defense, citing the ongoing war and rising threats from Iran since June. The deficit is expected to grow from 4.9% to 5.2%, while 1.6 billion shekels of the budget will be allocated to humanitarian aid for Gaza residents.
[Yeah, try that on for size.  Have you ever heard of anything more self-defeating and self-destructing??!!  Bunch of LOSERS!!!!]
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich defended the decision, [Of course he did!!!!!!  Loser, loser, loser!!]  ...describing his position as “a demanding and often thankless role” that requires balancing urgent military needs with economic stability at home. He accused “a handful of populist ministers” of chasing headlines instead of supporting the government’s financial strategy.

Defense Minister Israel Katz welcomed the expanded defense budget and praised Smotrich for his cooperation. Katz called the move “essential in light of the State of Israel's unprecedented security challenges,” emphasizing that it will allow the IDF and security forces to act forcefully against threats—particularly from Iran—and continue the mission of returning hostages and defeating Hamas in Gaza.
[Then, we've got this...  The Losers are sooooo predictable!!]
Israel Radar@IsraelRadar_com

Netanyahu aides say Israel is focused on taking over Gaza City.  But behind the scenes, Israeli negotiators continue to look into partial hostage deal, N12 News reports.  Don't be surprised if a deal is finalized after all.

Finally...

A group of religious soldiers from Battalion 77 of the Armored Brigade sent a sharply worded letter to their commander following a two-day battalion vacation, Arutz Sheva reported.

The soldiers wrote that they were promised that the vacation would take place in a setting that was separated by gender and with respect to their religious lifestyle but were sorely disappointed when they discovered “that these were false promises.”

The soldiers said that the event was held at a place where female soldiers were walking around in clothing that was not appropriate for their religious way of life. According to Arutz Sheva, the event was held near a pool, and although the soldiers were promised that there would be separate swimming hours, this promise was also not fulfilled.

“This was a severe blow that severely damaged our faith, our values, and our way of life,” they wrote. “We expected the battalion—which is entrusted with the value of comradeship—to take care of the needs of soldiers who are shomrei mitzvot. Instead, we left with a feeling of hurt and betrayal.”

The letter was signed by dozens of soldiers from the battalion, who demanded an appropriate response to the situation.  (Continues...)

I could have told them that!

The Cost of Maintaining Non-Aligned Interests

24 Menachem Av 5785

The US Ambassador is acting true to character by continuing to frame the visa issue with the United States as a matter of Chr*stians "visiting".  This can't be other than purposeful obfuscation, in my opinion.  (See specifically at 40 secs in.)

As a consequence, the gates have been thrown wide open for a flood of missionaries arriving to take up long-term positions.  Once they've been here five years, they can apply to become permanent residents and even citizens, further opening the doors to their extended families.

New Missionary "Staff" Invitation

23 Menachem Av 5785

The Jerusalem House of Prayer For All Nations (JHOPFAN) has issued an invitation to Chr*stians to apply for new "staff" positions with their organization, promising long-term visas.  In view of the recent developments on this front, [see also here.], I imagine they have Mr. Huckabee to thank.  No wonder they want to keep it secret...

Tom Hess is one of the worst.  He started the Jerusalem House of Prayer For All Nations...

"We are the Jerusalem House of Prayer for All Nations, based on the Mount of Olives, operating 24/7 prayer & worship since 1987. We are one of the longest-running 24/7’s on earth today. Our heart is to bless the Lord, bless His land and people, calling all nations up to Jerusalem in prayer, worship, and unity, preparing the way for the King of Glory." [That would be "J" for them.]

Recent quote:

"We know that the Jewish People were scattered all over the world. In the last one-hundred forty years, six and a half million Jews have returned to the Land of Israel. Israel has been reborn as a nation. There are still six and a half million who need to come back [from the US]. So, God is calling his people – 700 scriptures – calling his people back to the Land of Israel, but also calling them back to the God of Israel. So, we’re encouraging people to pray that they will come back to the Land AND come back to their God, because he says, “When the Lord builds up Zion, then he will return in his glory.” [In the Christians’ minds, this is a reference to “J”.] So, the Messiah, the King, is not coming back until the Jewish People return to their Land and return to Messiah, to their God, to their King. And so we stand in the gap and encourage you to pray for the fullness of aliyah in the natural, back to Israel, but also for the fullness of spiritual aliyah, that they will recognize their God and recognize their King, and recognize their Messiah."

"Beyond Comprehension"

21 Menachem Av 5785
Erev Shabbat Kodesh
Parashat Eikev

Quoting Rabbi Nachman Kahana:

An important idea regarding a “difficult” verse in last week’s parashat Va’etchanan...

Devarim 4,6:

Observe them (the mitzvot) carefully, for this will reveal your wisdom and understanding in the estimation of the nations when you perform all these decrees and they will say, “Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people”.
Question: A chok (חוקים) by definition is a heavenly decree beyond Man’s ability to comprehend (kosher vs unkosher animals, the red heifer, tuma and tahara, etc.). The pasuk says that erudite, learned goyim will praise our wisdom when we abide by the chukim. But this negates the fundamental basis of the scientific method that places logic and empirical proof as the guiding tools which open the secrets of nature. So why would the goyim reap praise upon us for acting in accordance with chukim?

I submit: the acceptance of chukim implies that we are aware that there is a world beyond human logic (Quantum Mechanics), and it is that leap of faith and intellectual acceptance which demonstrates our wisdom and understanding.

And its inverse, when the Jews distance themselves from the Torah, they make foolish mistakes and appear to be unwise in the eyes of the gentile peoples.

How to win a war
I recall that on the first Shabbat of basic training (tiranut) in boot-camp a few kilometers from the evil city of Shechem, I was asked to speak at the Shabbat meal. I spoke about our ancestors who entered Eretz Yisrael under the leadership of Yehoshua bin Nun with the order to “eliminate” all men, women and children of the seven Canaanite nations who controlled the land. I asked the soldiers that if we would get orders to enter Shechem and destroy the city and all its inhabitants, who among us would be able to carry out the order. Very few hands went up. And then I said that is the reason that the Medina will continue to suffer many more years of bloodshed.

There are no innocent citizens when at war with another country or religious faith, because whoever identifies with the aims of their leaders is as guilty as the soldier in uniform who shoots an RPG (anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade).

In 1933, approximately 3.6% of the German population were official members of the Nazi Party. In 1939, however, it was estimated that the vast majority of Germans identified with the goals of Judenrein (a land and world free of Jews). This was justification enough for the United States and the United Kingdom to kill hundreds of thousands (not enough) of non-combatants through bombing raids of the major cities.

The Germans were hungry, and the allies provided them with humanitarian aid in the form of half-ton bombs. The Germans were sick, and the allies sent them antibiotics in the form of TNT. That’s the way to win a war.

Viewing the enemy as human
Perhaps, the opening word of the Torah begins with the letter BET in order to inform us that this world is plan B and not what HaShem originally planned. Adam was the perfect male and Chava the perfect female, and Gan Eden the perfect location. Yet, they both managed to sin on the very first day they were created; and from that sin, death appeared and all the evils that Man has perpetrated to this day.

The lesson to be learned is that the mother of all further sins is the first sin. It has been proven empirically by leading physicists that when one closes the first button on a sweater improperly, chances are that all the rest will be out of place.

In the wake of the Shemini Atzeret atrocities, the original sin of our government was to negotiate with Hamas. This sin erroneously acknowledged their status as human beings; when, in fact and in Halacha, they became the living dead.

It is not recommended to approach an angry cobra and attempt to negotiate with it. If the “peace now” humanitarian does not immediately kill the cobra, then he will become its next meal.

Insanity is the de facto state of affairs in Gaza today. Hamas toys with Israel every day. The majority of international humanitarian aid continues to be violently hijacked by Hamas thugs and then sold to their Arab brothers at usurious prices. At the same time, the Hamas leadership offers unacceptable and constantly changing terms for releasing our live and dead hostages and ceasing the war.

The twins, Yaakov and Esau, were endowed with opposing genes – Yaakov with kindness and his brother Esau with the killer instinct. That is why there are only 13 million Jews in the world but billions of descendants of Esau.

Our mantra should be JLMM (Jewish Lives Matter More), because the life of one Jew is more precious than all the people of Gaza and their allies.

Following is a case in point…

Sparing enemy lives
The book of Melachim (chap. 20) relates the incidents pertaining to the battles between Achav, King of the northern tribes, and Ben-Hadad, King of Aram (today’s Syria).

Ben-Hadad mustered a huge army led by 32 kings with their horses and chariots, and besieged Samaria, the capital of the northern tribes.

After Ben-Hadad made impossible demands of the Jewish people, Achav and his generals understood that war was imminent.

A prophet appeared before Achav and announced, “This is what the Lord says: Do you see this vast army? I will give it into your hand today, and then you will know that I am the Lord.”

The army of Israel defeated the Arameans. Ben-Hadad escaped on horseback with some of his soldiers, while Achav’s army inflicted heavy losses on the Arameans.

The prophet returned to Achav with the warning that Ben-Hadad would renew the war in the coming year, and Achav would again be victorious.

The following Spring, Ben-Hadad did indeed declare war. This time, the Jews killed 100,000 Aramean foot soldiers in one day, and a wall collapsed on another 27,000 as they attempted to enter the city of Aphek.

Ben-Hadad hid in an underground room, knowing that his chances for survival were nil; but his officers said to him, “Look, we have heard that the kings of Israel are merciful. Let us go to the king of Israel with sackcloth around our waists and ropes around our heads. Perhaps he will spare your life.”

They sent a message to Achav to the effect that Ben-Hadad was still alive and was begging for mercy.

Achav received the message and replied, “Is he still alive? My brother?” And Achav permitted Ben-Hadad safe passage back to Aram. When Ben-Hadad came out of his hiding place, Achav had him climb into his own royal chariot.

The prophet reappeared to Achav and said, “You have set free a man I had determined should die. Therefore, it is your life for his life, your people for his people”. The following year, Ben Hadad attacked again and Achav was killed.

Lesson #1: When HaShem delivers an archenemy into our hands, we do not have the right to spare him, notwithstanding any political and other calculations.

In the latest round between Israel and Hamas, their military leadership is deep underground trying to escape our bombs. Although our leaders have not described Hamas as “our brothers”, we continue to allow them in Gaza and in Qatar to plan and try to carry out their clear and unwavering goal of destroying Medinat Yisrael and murdering every Jew here.

The Hamas leaders and followers are no better than Ben-Hadad of Aram. They have forfeited any privilege to live. Were it not for the perverse and misguided democratic morality of our State, the war would have been over a year ago.

Who Could Be Worse Than Haman?

16 Menachem Av 5785
Shavua Tov!

I was having a discussion with a family member over Shabbat and he quoted, "Hashem will raise up a king worse than Haman."  It started me thinking.  How many times have I heard that quote and I never thought to ponder what could possibly be worse than Haman who wanted to extinguish the life of every single Jew in the world?

What occurred to me is this:  Destroying the soul is always worse than killing the body and being betrayed is always worse coming from someone you trust rather than from an avowed and recognized enemy.  And who would qualify today on both counts - Armilus, the King of the Erev Rav

  • Armilus is a figure described in Jewish texts like the Sefer Zerubbabel and the Midrash Vayosha as a wicked king who will arise at the end of days to persecute the Jewish people.
  • He is often depicted as an antagonist to the Messiah, and some texts even portray him as conquering Messiah ben Joseph.
  • Some interpretations of Jewish tradition link the Erev Rav to the rise of Armilus.
  • According to these interpretations, the Erev Rav's negative influence and rebellious nature will contribute to the conditions that allow Armilus to flourish at the end of days.
  • In essence, their actions and character are seen as a precursor to the evil that Armilus embodies.
  • The joining of Eisav and Yishmael is the result of Armelius, the sar of the Erev Rav, who are able to destroy Israel and the entire world, may G-d have mercy.
  •
Who stands at the head of the Erev Rav regime today?  A Prime Minister reigning for a total of eighteen years!

I could list for you a multitude of political "sins" for which this person has been guilty over the past 30 years, but it should suffice to simply point out that we are where we are today because of his failed leadership at the head of the Erev Rav regime.  He has brought us to the brink of extinction (body and soul) where only the intervention of Mashiach will save us.  And all that time he has presented himself as the Savior of Israel and a large majority of Jews believe him to be such, despite what reality shows them.

See here, just two weeks ago, with Pastor Paula White-Cain, millionaire televangelist, "false-teacher" and Trump's chosen pick for "senior advisor" in the White House's "faith office."

...At the time the Targum Jonathan was written, the importance of the Roman Empire was rising, and there were also people from the people of Israel who wanted to resemble them and increase the military power of the people of Israel similar to the power of Rome. The name 'Armilus' combines two names, the name 'Aram' which recalls the symbolic figure of "Aram" (whom Othniel subdued), and the name 'Romulus', about whom a legend spread at the time as if he was the founder of the Roman nation, and from the combination of the two names the name 'Armilus' was created.  (Source)

This is just horrible!!  It's no leadership at all!!!  The soldiers don't need a "rest", they need to be turned loose to win the war so they can all go home!!!!  Just horrible.  😢
