UPDATE!! The commander of the Iranian Navy declares that the Strait of Hormuz will be closed in the coming hours. Approximately 25% of the world’s oil supply moves through this strait, with a majority going to: China, India, Japan and South Korea.
... Related: Over 50 oil tankers are urgently trying to leave, fearing an immediate Iranian blockade.

We really don't know other than what the MSM is reporting just how effective these attacks from the US are. It could very well be that the Iranians did in fact relocate a lot stuff beforehand in anticipation of it.
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting what some will say come Monday. On one podcast it was brought up that the younger generation is about 50% anti-Israel. One said he will vote for any Anti Israel candidate. The general comments were this younger generation is saying "what are they doing for us". Well, that's what every younger generation has said for the past 60 years. These same people consider Israel as the aggressor. That's no surprise considering the current education system in the US.
ReplyDeleteSome prominent influencers have maintained that any attack on Iran will fracture the "MAGA" movement. The impression one gets is these are, or were, closet Anti-Semites and now feel free to be open and explicit in their attitudes. Their claim is Iran was not seeking to develop any nuclear weapons. Any enrichment was for "medical use". Then why bury it deep inside a mountain, surrounded by missile batteries.
You can't reason with those people. They are not interested in facts, or chronology or logic. It's when you realise that universal suffrage was a big mistake. The '50k dead babies' in Aza is the blood libel on steroids. I pray that ALL our enemies will be destroyed, Be'D. Otoh, I heard a heartwarming, impassioned speech by someone on French tv. There are some people who get it.

Definitely surprised me.
ReplyDeleteUS President Donald Trump says three key nuclear facilities in Iran have been “obliterated,” while threatening more strikes “if peace does not come quickly.” This comes as Amwaj.media has learned that Washington notified Tehran of the strikes. Speaking on condition of anonymity, a high-ranking Iranian political source confirmed that the Trump administration on June 21 conveyed that it did not seek an all-out confrontation, and only intended to strike the Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz nuclear sites. Importantly, the senior source also confirmed that the targeted sites were evacuated, with "most" of Iran's stockpile of enriched uranium kept in secure locations.
ReplyDeleteRussia had advance warning, too.
If Hashem wants those stockpiles destroyed then they will be destroyed at the time that He designates and not a moment sooner or a moment later. Either He's running the show or He's not. If He's running the show then He determines every single detail. And, of course, He is running the show. Rfael Yaakov
DeleteDoes this mean that it was smoke and mirrors, performative?
DeleteHitoreri
No, it wasn't smoke and mirrors. Hashem decrees and then His shlichim put it into action...whoever His shlichim may be. They hid the stockpiles. Hashem knows where they are. When He wants the place to be revealed Israeli or US intelligence will discover it and then take the appropriate action. It's the lesson of Purim.
DeleteOf course Hashem is in charge, tgws, the q is was the US action genuine, or was it performative, given that TD says advance warning was given. If the latter, even more reason to think that US action will be used as leverage against us.

Rav Eliyahu said to say al hatov vehameitiv with shem Hashem.
ReplyDeleteBibi was at at the kotel to publicly give thanks to Hashem. This is the most important aspect, to thank Hashem, and those in any kind of public position, could be a teacher, newscaster etc, big or small, to do so publicly.
Ein Od Milvado. So Trump has apparently done the right thing. I'm still in kabdeihu vechashdeihu mode, concerned that Trump will try to leverage this against Israel to concede parts of EY. The other concern is that the orange saviour brigade will get carried away in the wrong direction.

Persia can eat the uranium.

ReplyDeleteNow that the euphoria caused by the Fordow fireworks has begun to ebb, it should be noted that despite d.s.donny's claims to have obliterated Iran's nuclear program, nothing could be further from the truth. While everybody is giddy at the spectacular fireball at Fordow, they are missing the fact that the Americans did not fire a single missile or drop a single bomb on the Bushehr nuclear complex. Nobody even questions the narrative. Israel has not fired on the Bushehr facility either. Why? When questioned by the press after the American operation, Putin was asked why he didn't defend Iran. His answer is telling. He said we did defend Iran, we built the first reactor at Bushehr, and are continuing to build the remaining two reactors in the contract. He added that there are 2 million Russians in Israel, it is practically a Russian speaking country!! That is kind of a chilling statement when you read between the lines of it.
Obviously not only did the Russians know in advance, it seems evident that the Iranians did also, as satellite footage of the site several weeks ago showed 16 trucks transporting material from Fordow.
I think the celebrations of the destruction of the Iran nuclear program are just a little premature .

I agree. I haven't been ready to put on my dancing shoes. If you pay attention to the details, you can see that there is much ado about not much. PR. It's another test for us, I believe, as the worship of Trump has increased another notch. B'ezrat Hashem He won't sure us the error of our ways in a harsh way.
