Day 40 of the Omer
I've seen two or three minor headlines in the last 24-hrs stating that this or that group "does NOT want a state of halacha." This is the result of the election debacle being cast as a secular vs. religious battle over the State's character.
ANYone, kippah-wearer or not, bearded or not, who will stand up and say he does not desire to live in this country in accordance with Divine Law, should realize that he is essentially saying he does not want to see Mashiach - ever. Furthermore, he might as well admit, too, that when Shavuot arrives, he has nothing whatsoever to celebrate.
Let's be completely honest. Whoever feels this way has no place and no future in Eretz Yisrael.

New Elections = Yeshuat Hashem

Day 40 of the Omer
If you will recall, Israel went to elections in April in order to pave the way for the roll-out of the Trump/Kushner "peace" plan. The idea was that reinstalling Bibi Netanyahu as PM would mean a mandate from the people to implement it in full. But, no one foresaw what was coming.
Something historic and unprecedented happened. The new Knesset has dissolved itself and called for another election on the heels of the last one. Word is that the "Deal of the Century" will be revealed as planned - this summer. (We're not yet into Sivan, but Tamuz and Av are right around the corner.) If true, that means all the details will be known by the next election -September 17, 2019, or which is also the 17th (17=Tov in gematria) of Elul during the 40 days of repentance, just 13 days before Rosh Hashanah 5780!
A commenter brought up another interesting angle. We expected Mashiach ben Yosef to arrive before the elections, but that did not pan out. Maybe this do-over is meant to correct that, too.
Whatever the case, "that which is wondrous in our eyes is from Hashem."
Ultimately, this is proof that HKB"H's eye never leaves this land and His protective hand is ever hovering over His people. Not only does He save us from our enemies, He saves us from ourselves!

...Netanyahu lamented the time wasted on another superfluous election campaign when vital national business was at hand. The first session of a US-Russian-Israeli committee was due to take place very soon in Jerusalem for a unique discussion on regional and Israeli security, he revealed. He promised more information on this development in the coming days. The White House announced shortly after this disclosure that the US. Russian and Israeli national security advisers would hold a joint meeting next month in Jerusalem. (Source)

13 STRAIGHT DAYS!!

Day 39 of the Omer
Such a thing has never occurred before in recorded US history.
Over the past 20 years or so, it has been possible to see correlations between weather disasters in the US which drove people from their homes and US-backed "peace" efforts in the ME which drove Jews from their homes in Eretz Yisrael. Hurricane Katrina was the best example of this as that weather system correlated in every single detail of what was happening in Gush Katif, right down to the dead being uprooted from their graves.
Witnessing what is happening on the ground there now, one can only imagine what must be planned for us if the "Deal of the Century" is ever implemented.
Jewish homes are still being demolished on a piecemeal basis at the current time as can be witnessed in this photo. Even in the midst of trying to form a so-called "right-wing" coalition, the government is still destroying Jewish homes. They dare not disobey their American rulers.
Then, again, maybe it is related to all the refugees created by American efforts to "spread democracy" through "regime change." How many homes has the US bombed in Iraq and Afghanistan? And here is a thought. How many of them belonged to hidden Israelites?
Whatever the connection, we know HKB"H operates midah k'neged midah. What we've seen over the past 13 days is not going to let up until the world understands that America is not the world's "only superpower," nor is it the world's "policeman."

This Friday [May 31st] will mark the beginning of pride month in Israel with a parade in the central city of Kfar Saba. Some 50 other pride parades will be held throughout the country in the coming weeks, most of them at colleges and universities.Hashem yerachem!!
The largest expected event is the annual Tel Aviv Pride Parade, which the city is predicting will attract hundreds of thousands of participants from around the country and the globe. The rally, typically viewed as a celebratory party, is expected to take on a protest-like vibe with organizers seeking to raise awareness of the discrimination suffered by the LGBT community, whose members face extensive hurdles in legally marrying and starting families in Israel. Crop Catastrophe In The Midwest – Latest USDA Crop Progress Report Indicates That A Nightmare Scenario Is Upon UsSee also: Global food crisis ahead as extreme weather events devastate crops and fields around the world; Rain and Water Everywhere Planet Wide
The last 12 months have been the wettest in all of U.S. history, and this has created absolutely horrific conditions for U.S. farmers. Thanks to endless rain and historic flooding that has stretched on for months, many farmers have not been able to plant crops at all, and a lot of the crops that have actually been planted are deeply struggling. What this means is that U.S. agricultural production is going to be way, way down this year. The numbers that I am about to share with you are deeply alarming, and they should serve as a wake up call for all of us. The food that each one of us eats every day is produced by our farmers, and right now our farmers are truly facing a nightmare scenario.
(Read it in its entirety here.)
...And it isn’t just in the United States where we are seeing widespread crop failures. I would encourage you to check out my previous article entitled “Floods And Drought Devastate Crops All Over The Planet – Could A Global Food Crisis Be Coming?” In that article I discussed the fact that Australia will actually be importing lots of wheat this year, but normally it is one of the largest exporters of wheat in the entire world. As crops fail all over the globe, there will be a scramble for food, and the wealthy western nations have more money than anyone else.
...We have never seen so many massive threats hit the global food supply simultaneously, and if this article deeply alarms you that is a good thing.
A perfect storm is rapidly developing, and many expect global events to start accelerating dramatically.
PSALM 145

17 The Lord is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds.
18 The Lord is near to all who call Him, to all who call Him with sincerity.
19 He does the will of those who fear Him, and He hears their cry and saves them.

Sticky Problem, Simple Solution
22 Iyyar 5779
Day 37 of the OmerThere is a threat of yet another round of elections ostensibly over the "chareidi draft agreement." I don't really buy the story that this is the sole stumbling block, but there is a very simple solution to this very sticky problem, as others before me have pointed out. Just do away with the draft and have a professional army like all other "enlightened Western democracies."
EU nations continue to phase out military conscription
End of Conscription in the United States
During the 1968 presidential election, Richard Nixon campaigned on a promise to end the draft. He had first become interested in the idea of an all-volunteer army during his time out of office, based upon a paper by Martin Anderson of Columbia University. ...There was opposition to the all-volunteer notion from both the Department of Defense and Congress, so Nixon took no immediate action towards ending the draft early in his presidency. However, there are two reasons I know of why that solution does not come under consideration:
Instead, the Gates Commission was formed, headed by Thomas S. Gates, Jr., a former Secretary of Defense in the Eisenhower administration. Gates initially opposed the all-volunteer army idea, but changed his mind during the course of the 15-member commission's work. The Gates Commission issued its report in February 1970, describing how adequate military strength could be maintained without having conscription.
...With the end of active U.S. ground participation in Vietnam, December 1972 saw the last men conscripted,....
1. Military service has always been seen as the main assimilation tool in the secular culture arsenal. How many "religious" soldiers come out of that system less religious or not religious at all? How many young Jewish women were ruined?
2. The Israeli Elite gain and maintain power through previous military service. It is a very common launching pad for political careers, c"v.
Oh, and there is one other thing, I can think of. It's one more "stick" in the hands of those who go in for one of Israel's most popular pastimes - "chareidi bashing!"
One thing is for sure, a day will certainly come when peace will reign throughout the entire world and there won't be any need for armies anywhere!!

FIRE THAT DESTROYED SHLOMO CARLEBACH MOSHAV IS SUSPECTED ARSON
Israel’s Fire and Rescue Service initially blamed the blaze on faulty electric wires, but has since discovered that it had several points of origin, suggesting arson, according to media reports.
Fire Department: Mass Blazes Caused by ArsonUnfortunately, some tried to blame it on Lag B'Omer bonfires which simply was not true.
In related news, the police over the weekend arrested three Arabs who attempted to start fires in Jerusalem as an act of terrorism.
A Police spokesman stated that while firefighters across the country were fighting fires, police in Jerusalem arrested three suspects for attempting to deliberately start fires.
The police arrested a 19-year-old suspect while he was attempting to start a fire near the French Hill neighborhood. A 15-year-old was arrested in similar circumstances in the Har Hazofim area, which borders with Arab neighborhoods and has repeatedly been the target of arson attacks.
A third suspect, 30, was also arrested for attempting to start a fire in the Kidron area.
“Investigations into those three suspects are continuing and they remain under arrest,” the police said.
Arab terrorists over the years have adopted arson as a weapon against Israel, taking advantage of the dry and hot weather to ignite fires and cause mass damage to property as well as loss of life.

Parashat Behar/Bechukotai - Help! - Rabbi Meir Kahane
If your brother becomes impoverished and his means falter in your proximity, you shall strengthen him – proselyte or resident – so that he can live with you. Do not take from him interest and increase; you shall fear your G-d and let your brother live with you. (Lev. 25:35,36)
King Solomon said (Prov. 21:13), “He who stops his ears at the cry of the poor shall also cry himself but shall not be answered.”Anyone who deserts a person who needs him, will in turn be deserted by G-d. This is what happened to Elimelech: Elimelech was one of the leaders of the nation and sustainers of the generation. Yet when the years of famine arrived, he said: All Israel are gathering around my door, each one with his basket [asking for donations]. He got up and ran away from the Land (Ruth Rabbah 1:4). And he was punished for this by dying – he and both of his sons – in exile. Anyone who forsakes the divine commandment of lovingkindness – G-d will forsake him, measure for measure: Thus says Hashem: You have abandoned Me, and I, too, have abandoned you (2 Chronicles 12:5).
Kindness and kind deeds are a general category that includes many individual mitzvot like charity, marrying off a poor girl, visiting the sick and comforting mourners. Truthfully, the potential for kind deeds is immeasurable. Anything one does for his fellow man, even offering a single kind word, is part of the kindness that builds the world. In other words, every good deed one does for his fellow man is called good because of the kindness it contains, because kindness is the fundamental kernel within all good. Loving one's fellow Jew is a mitzvah of global importance. Love, respect and reverence for our fellow Jew, created in G-d's image and sanctified at Sinai as G-d's elect, is the duty of every single Jew, because he is part of that chosen people. Every Jew must grow spiritually by showing love and respect for his fellow Jew. In that way, he expresses his esteem for someone holy and select, created in G-d's image and chosen at Sinai to be G-d's special treasure. In effect, he gains self-esteem as well. These benefits are secondary to the main benefit accrued: Though such behavior one suppresses the evil impulse and breaks down his ego. This is man's purpose, and doing so exalts and sanctifies him. It says, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” The moment a person equates someone else – through the love and respect he shows him – with himself, thereby ceasing to view himself as the center of the world, his own ego will begin to grow smaller.
Kindness for one's fellow man, even for someone who is not one's relative and whom one does not know at all, is the trait that separates man from beast. It is this which elevates man to a level just beneath the angels, and perhaps just above them. Man's ability to give and to sacrifice his property and time for his fellow man is what G-d wished to implement on earth when He created it, and for this he created man.
R. Elazar said (Succah 49b), “Charity is only rewarded according to the kindness it contains, as it says (Hosea 10:12), 'Sow charity for yourselves, reap according to kindness.'” Rashi comments, “The giving is charity. The trouble taken is kindness, for example, bringing the money to the poor person's house, or taking the trouble that it should help him a lot... in short, paying full heed to the poor man's welfare.” How true are Rashi's words! Once more we have clear proof that the purpose of charity and kindness is its influence on the soul of the one offering it.
Make no mistake. Kindness, per se, is not the main purpose of creation or of Torah. Rather, it is the most outstanding, pronounced expression of modesty, self-abnegation, subjugation of the evil impulse and acceptance of G-d's yoke discernible in man. Man, by giving, nullifies his sense of taking. By worrying about his fellow man, he suppresses his selfishness, arrogance and lust. There is nothing great or praiseworthy about the poor person receiving kindness or charity. In taking and benefiting, one performs no mitzvah. The mitzvah is entirely in that the giver gives, that the kind person's mercy wells up and he forgets himself, his property and his selfishness, suppressing his ego and giving of his money or time to someone else. In doing so, he reinforces the humility within. By suppressing his evil impulse and lessening his lust, arrogance and selfishness, he fulfills his task on this earth. For this he was created. It is patently obvious that the main purpose of kind deeds is not that the receiver receive but that the giver give. Regarding tzedaka (“charity”), Chazal said a great thing which holds true regarding all mitzvot between man and his fellow man: The poor man does more for the donor than the donor does for the poor man. For as Ruth said to Naomi, “The name of the man with whom I worked today is Boaz” (Ruth 2:19). It does not say “who worked with me,” but “with whom I worked”. She said to her: Many good deeds have I done with him today for the slice that he gave me (Leviticus Rabbah 34:8). True, the simple meaning is that the master receives greater income from G-d than what he gives in charity. But Chazal take this far deeper: the greatness of the mitzvah of tzedaka is not that the poor man receives, but that the giver gives. There is no greatness in a person receiving something material – but great is the person who gives to someone else, thereby relinquishing the benefit that he could have received from his money. Performing this mitzvah affects his soul. He elevates and sanctifies it by removing the selfishness that encrusts it. Therefore Ruth said, Many good deeds have I done with him today. The same applies to any form of kindness that a person performs for his fellow-man: the greatness lies, not in the receiving, but in the active performance of giving. This is the great difference between Torah and socialism: Torah emphasizes the giving, whereas socialism emphasizes the receiving – and receiving only increases the selfishness of the recipient, who will never be satisfied with what he has received. The Jews who distort the Torah are so influenced by the alien culture that they turn kindness and mercy into goals in and of themselves. By such means they elevate them above all the mitzvot, necessarily diminishing the value of all other mitzvot. They also push the concepts of kindness and mercy to foolish and dangerous extremes, while they themselves include wicked enemies of the Jewish People. The real meaning of kindness and truth is that these principles are only part, albeit an exceedingly marked and conspicuous part, of the Torah's main purpose and goal – self-abnegation and suppression of our evil impulse and arrogance. All the mitzvot were given for this purpose, but kindness and mercy are the most direct part to this goal, as I have explained. Such acts express the Torah's essence, breaking down one's ego. The word mercy – “rachamim” in Hebrew – comes from “rechem”, womb. There is no mercy like that of a mother for the child of her womb. There is an inseparable bond between them because the child is part of her body, “flesh of her flesh” (Gen. 2:23). Just so must be a Jew's mercy for his fellow Jew (if that fellow is worthy). It should resemble a mother's mercy for her child.

Fighting Fire With Fire

Day 34 of the Omer
Every year, we get one or two extra severe bouts of heat wave. And every year when that happens, fires break out all over the country. And every time, it later turns out that Arabs set the fires, taking advantage of the circumstances.
The authorities are admitting the Arabs set the fires in the south of the country yesterday. They can't cover that up.
On the very day when Jews traditionally burn bonfires in celebration of Lag La'Omer, it seems the Arabs didn't want to be left out. I hope this is not going to become a new tradition for Ramadan.

Firefighters bring 11 fires lit by Hamas balloons under controlThere is not a doubt in my mind that it will turn out that they are also responsible for the fires burning in the center of the country, too.
At least 11 fires blazed in Eshkol and Sdot Negev regions on Wednesday from incendiary balloons tossed over from the Gaza Strip. One consumed a 12-acre wheat field belonging to Kibbutz Alumim. By nightfall, the firefighters had brought them all under control. Because of the exceptionally dry, hot and windy weather Israel’s fire and rescue services had issued a fire warning across the country and banned the customary Lag Be’Omer bonfires.in many places.
ISRAEL ON RED ALERT AS HEAT WAVE FIRES SPREAD ACROSS THE COUNTRYAnd in a related story... "Arson has not been ruled out, according to the Police."
...The red-level alert was raised and a full mobilization of firefighters have been scrambled throughout the entire country. There have been requests for volunteer firefighters and for assistance from neighboring countries for firefighting planes.
...Today's events began when a large fire broke out near Beit Hagai, in the southern Hebron Hills in the West Bank on Thursday. The first line of houses have been evacuated in the settlement. There are currently reports of at least 15 people being treated for smoke inhalation.
...In a related development, Israel police blocked route 443 and evacuated communities around the Ben Shemen forest Thursday as fires of undetermined origin raged through the area.
Route 1, the major artery connecting Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, was a snarled traffic jam near the area in the afternoon as the sun began to descend toward the horizon.
On the skyline, brown and black smoke billowed from the Ben Shemen forest. Usually a picnic area, the place was turned into a looming inferno as a fire spread during the hottest day of the spring so far.
...Deri Semachi briefed reporters there on the situation. He said that investigations were still underway to determine the cause of the fires.
On the very day when Jews traditionally burn bonfires in celebration of Lag La'Omer, it seems the Arabs didn't want to be left out. I hope this is not going to become a new tradition for Ramadan.

Upside-Down World
17 Iyyar 5779
Day 32 of the Omer
I can't help thinking what an upside-down world we are living in. This ER government (either Erev Rav or Evil Regime, they're the same thing) would have us believe that the US and Saudi Arabia are our best friends and Iran is our worst enemy. But, in the World of Truth, what the US and Saudi Arabia are planning for us would lead to our utter destruction if they had their way (which HKB"H will not allow), making them our worst enemy. And you can mark my words, in the end, we are going to see that what Iran is doing will eventually lead to our great salvation and the building of the Third Beit HaMikdash, because they are the tool HKB"H is using to thwart the US and Saudi Arabia.
THIS picture is our worst case scenario...
The union of Eisav and Yishmael brought about by the Erev Rav.
But, that's only possible in a world of illusion (and delusion) - in the Upside-Down World. In the World of Truth, Eisav has no power over us. In the World of Truth, Eisav has already fallen and Yisrael is victorious.
THE MAIN DRIVE OF THE EREV RAV IS TO UNIFY EISAV AND YISHMAEL AND TO SEPARATE THE TWO MOSHIACHS. THEREFORE, OUR MAIN SERVICE AND BATTLE IS TO BREAK AND TO REMOVE THE STRENGTH OF THE EREV RAV, THE K'LIPAH OF ARMELIUS THE EVIL, FROM ISRAEL; THE EREV RAV IS OUR GREATEST ENEMY, THE ONE WHO SEPARATESTHE TWO MOSHIACHS.
Everything that we see on the ground and everything that is being reported (also here) about the "Deal of the Century" tells us that Eisav, at the instigation of the Erev Rav, is determined to prevent Yisrael from fulfilling his God-given mission in the world by turning us into an Eisav clone, thereby doing what every enemy in the past has failed to do - destroy Yisrael. The purpose in our bringing about the ingathering of the exiles is to set up faithful people for the sake of the unification of the two moshiachs (i.e., Moshiach Ben Yosef and Moshiach Ben Dovid) in the gates of Jerusalem. This is in order to return the Divine Presence to bring about the redemption, the true redemption and sanctification of God's Name. According to our teacher, the Vilna Gaon, z"l, we can bring about, with the help of God and through these strong people, these two moshiachs, and to learn well all the levels and their purposes in practical terms. The general purpose of the two moshiachs, Moshiach Ben Yosef and Moshiach Ben Dovid, throughout all the generations has been to protect and fight against the three 'heads' of the K'lipos, Eisav, Yishmael, and the Erev Rav. The specific role of Moshiach Ben Yosef is against Eisav who is the k'lipah of the left, the main purpose of Moshiach Ben Dovid is against Yishmael, the k'lipah of the right, and together they go against Eisav and Yishmael who are the ox and the donkey from the side of impurity. The joining of Eisav and Yishmael is the result of Armelius, the sar of the Erev Rav, who are able to destroy Israel and the entire world, may God have mercy. The main drive of the Erev Rav is to unify Eisav and Yishmael and to separate the two moshiachs. Therefore, our main service and battle is to break and to remove the strength of the Erev Rav, the k'lipah of Armelius the Evil, from Israel; the Erev Rav is our greatest enemy, the one who separates the two moshiachs. The k'lipah of the Erev Rav works only through deception and roundabout ways. Therefore, the war against the Erev Rav is the most difficult and bitterest of all. We must strengthen ourselves for this war, and anyone who does not participate in the battle against the Erev Rav becomes, de facto, a partner with the k'lipah of the Erev Rav, and was better off not being born in the first place. (Kol HaTor, Chapter 2, Section 2, Letter 'bais')
But, that's only possible in a world of illusion (and delusion) - in the Upside-Down World. In the World of Truth, Eisav has no power over us. In the World of Truth, Eisav has already fallen and Yisrael is victorious.

Trump: I don’t want to fight but we can’t let Iran have nuclear weaponsI sort of believe them. Look how long they have been dragging this confrontation out. Back in 2006, Debka was reporting war in six weeks. And it goes back even before that. But...
Saudi Arabia, Iran Revolutionary Guards chief say not seeking war
On Tuesday, Iran’s Ayatollah, Seyed Ali Khamenei, said that any confrontation between the US and Iran would not be “a military one,” and that “there was not going to be any war.”
US President Donald Trump has expressed a similar sentiment recently when he told his acting defense secretary, Patrick Shanahan, he does not want to go to war with Iran, the New York Times reported on Thursday, citing unidentified administration officials. (Source)

JORDAN AWAITS TRUMP DEAL WITH FEAR, RUMORS
...West Bank Palestinians who visited Jordan in the past few weeks said that the kingdom was awash with rumors and conspiracy theories amid increased calls for economic and political reforms and leaks concerning the peace plan.
“The situation in Amman is very tense,” said a businessman from Ramallah who visits Jordan regularly. “The economic situation is very bad, and many people complain that the Syrian refugees are taking their jobs. In addition, there’s talk about several senior political and security officials who may be involved in attempts to undermine the monarchy.”
A Palestinian Authority official who returned from Amman last week said that Jordanian officials told him that Abdullah was “upset” with the Trump administration and some Arab states. “The king feels that he’s been left alone to face serious challenges from home and abroad,” the PA official said. “He’s afraid that Trump’s plan will aggravate tensions inside the kingdom and drive a wedge between Jordan and other Arabs.”
Summing up Jordan’s predicament, a veteran political analyst in Amman said that the kingdom was facing “existential challenges” as a result of the peace plan. The king’s efforts, he said, “should be focused on preserving Jordan’s survival, independence and stability, while also pushing for badly needed economic and political reforms.”

Eurovision weekend in the big city *
All you need to know about the parties, major events and alcohol that will rock Tel-Aviv this Eurovision finale weekend
So, I thought the least I can do is make a public statement of support for the rabbanim and the sanctity of the Holy Shabbat and pray that HKB"H will make havdalah between those who are faithful to the covenant and those who are in rebellion against Him.
...Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has authorized 30,000 workers to be Mechalel Shabbos in connection with the Eurovision event, as YWN-Israel reported.
Despite receiving a two-week extension of time, Netanyahu is still having trouble cobbling together a coalition. That together with Sa'ar's rebellion and the PM's looming legal problems are a warning. Hopefully, it is also a sign that the Erev Rav regime is coming to an end.

If you think you are really anticipating Mashiach, but have no desire to live in Eretz HaKodesh, I think you are kidding yourself. If you think you do have a desire to live in Eretz HaKodesh, but have not taken even one practical step towards making it happen, I think you are kidding yourself. Please take a closer look inside.

Editors Of Iranian IRGC-Affiliated Newspapers: Iran Is Behind Fujairah And Yanbu Attacks; Possibility Of Additional Attacks In Red Sea, Golan HeightsMEMRI translated their tweets. They can be seen here, including the following...
Following May 12, 2019 reports of attacks on oil tankers at Fujairah Port, off the coast of the UAE's Emirate of Fujairah, two senior Iranian journalists affiliated with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) tweeted that Iran had carried out the attacks. The two journalists are Hamed Rahim-Pour, editor of the international section of the IRGC-affiliated Khorasan daily, and Amin Arabshahi, director of the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim news agency's bureau in northern Khorasan Province. Rahim-Pour claimed that there had been an additional attack at the Saudi port of Yanbu in the Red Sea; that attack was confirmed today, May 14, by the Saudis. Rahim-Pour warned that there would be additional attacks at the ports of Fujairah and Yanbu and even on the Golan Heights.
Also on May 12, 2019, Amin Arabshahi, director of the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim news agency's bureau in northern Khorasan Province, tweeted:
"Al-Fujairah Port, which is the sole lifeline for the export of oil from the UAE and Saudi Arabia, has been set on fire. The guys of the Islamic Resistance set fire to [this site, which is situated] just before the #Strait of Hormuz. #Merchants of fear [i.e. the administration of U.S. President Trump] should know that the war started years ago. We are in its final moments."
"Aliyah Bullying"
10 Iyyar 5779
Day 25 of the Omer
This blog post was inspired by a discussion in the comment section of a popular Jewish geulah blog. In that discussion, one of the commenters coined the term "aliyah bullying" in reference to a different commenter who was promoting and encouraging aliyah for Diaspora Jews. I decided to address this issue here rather than at the blog in question because it raises some issues that are much broader than one single blog community.
This term "aliyah bullying" is evidence of the strained relations that exist over the topic of aliyah between Israeli Jews and many Diaspora Jews. As the blog's author put it...
Granted, there really are Jews who yearn with all their hearts to make aliyah, but who, at the present time, are really unable to do so. But, I doubt this thought would ever cross the mind of any one of them: "I'm happy to see people standing up for their rights to live outside of Israel...don't believe there is a need to." The vast majority of Diaspora Jews feel the way the blog author does and I commend her on her honesty. It's much better than laying the blame on HKB"H and implying that our own failure of faith is instead His failure to provide, chas v'chalilah! Free will demands that we must first desire the Land of Israel and then, HKB"H will respond by providing the means and the way. The vast majority of Jews who live outside the Land of Israel do so because they simply don't want it and therefore, they may even be relieved to find they see no way towards making that happen.
I used to be an "aliyah bully" for the same reason this one is: I cared deeply for Am Yisrael and looked forward to the day when we would all be united in our homeland like we were after leaving Mitzrayim. I thought they just needed information and encouragement and I was more than happy to provide both. But I was cured of that, both by the surly rejections of many of the brethren and by something a very respected rabbi said on the subject. I wish I could recall who, but I vividly recall his words: "It is forbidden to run after people." Now, I try only to discuss this topic with those who approach me about it and ask for assistance.
In addition, I have made the following information available by having it pinned on the right column of my own blog: ALIYAH
One final remark, if I may. Those of us who have succeeded in making aliyah to Eretz Yisrael do not have fortune to thank for it, but HKB"H, Who will do the same for anyone who can find it in his heart and mind to put ALL his faith and trust in Him!
It helps to keep in mind that it is not a question of do we have to make aliyah, but do we get to make aliyah!
I'll end here with a blessing and a request...
May every real Jew in this generation merit to get to make aliyah safely in the nearest future. Amen.

This term "aliyah bullying" is evidence of the strained relations that exist over the topic of aliyah between Israeli Jews and many Diaspora Jews. As the blog's author put it...
It's a sad fact that those of us outside of Israel feel intimidated by these kind of comments on various blogs. I'm fed up with all the nonsense about another holocaust etc.... the [L]ubavitcher Rebbe and many more have told us there will not be another holocaust G-d forbid, and we know anti semitism will again rear it's ugly head before Moshiach..... I'm happy to see people standing up for their rights to live outside of Israel, for many and varied reasons we cannot make ALiyah and don't believe there is a need to. I'm not giving advice here, just defending our rights to live our lives and not be attacked because we can't jump on the next plane to Yerushalayim. Well done to everyone who has made Aliyah, you are very fortunate to be living in Israel, but spare a thought for those who have tried and failed and had to return home to the diaspora just to survive, and for those who can't even consider it for so many reasons.Earlier in the discussion, the aliyah "bully" was asserting that even many of the popular internet rabbis are promoting aliyah, to which someone replied...
"Most truly frum people do not go online much.... and Hashem for sure likes that. And there's no reason for them to die a more horrific death just because they were únaware' of Hashem's plans due to their refraining from internet usage! That was a bit shocking to me because it tells me that anyone making such an argument must be completely unaware of how many times and how many ways our Torah and prayers promote aliyah on a daily basis. Presumably, the "most truly frum people" would be better informed on this subject than anyone relying on internet rabbis in any case.
Granted, there really are Jews who yearn with all their hearts to make aliyah, but who, at the present time, are really unable to do so. The Fuse for WW3 Has Been Lit

How long can it burn before it explodes?
Day 23 of the Omer
How long can it burn before it explodes?
Rabbi Yitzchak said: (Yalkut Shimoni, Yishayahu 60)We are now closer to the fulfillment of this "prophecy" than ever before.
"In the year when the king Moshiach will be revealed, all the kings of the nations of the world are provoking each other. The king of Paras (Iran) is provoking the Arab king (Saudi Arabia) and then the Arab King will turn to Edom (U.S.A.) for advice.
The king of Paras will then go and destroy the world. And all the nations of the world will shout from terror, fall upon their faces in fear and undergo such horrible pains as strong as labor pains.
And the Jewish people will shout from fear and say, "to where do we turn?! To where do we run?!"
And He will say unto them (Hashem), my children, do not be afraid; all that I have done here, I have done only for you. What do you fear? The time for your Redemption has arrived!"
Two Saudi tankers with oil for US among 4 ships “sabotaged” in UAE waters off FujairahThis very scenario was predicted days ago by U.S. sources...
Two of the four cargo ships sabotaged on Sunday, May 12, off Fujairah were oil tankers, said Saudi energy minister Khalid al-Falih on Monday., calling the attack “a threat to the security of global oil supplies.” One was on its way to be loaded with Saudi crude from the port of Ras Tanura for delivery to Saudi Aramco’s customers in the United States,....
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Monday postponed his trip to Russia without explanation and headed straight for Brussels for talks with US NATO allies on the crisis with Iran.
...DEBKAfile’s military and intelligence sources reported that despite the careful omissions in the official statements, it is obvious that Gulf oil and gas shipping came under attack from a party in the region. The obvious candidate is Iran, whose Revolutionary Guards and their fleet are fully capable of carrying out Tehran’s first major reprisal for US sanctions on its oil exports. From the Saudi statement that the oil on one of the stricken ships attacked in UAE waters was destined for “customers in the United States, ” it may be inferred that Tehran found a way to vent itself on two if not three of its enemies with a single blow. Iranian officials have declared that if Tehran can’t export its oil, neither will anyone else. Washington has so far made no response to this attack. A statement may be expected after Pompeo’s talks in Brussels.
U.S. Warns Iran May Attack Oil Tankers In The Persian Gulf
'Specific, credible' Iran threat against US forces triggered carrier deployment, sources say
"Specific and credible" intelligence that suggested Iranian forces and proxies were targeting US forces in Syria, Iraq and at sea led the Pentagon to recommend a carrier strike group be moved to the region, two US officials tell CNN.
The Pentagon and Central Command asked the White House to announce the military moves to give added heft to the new orders and send a message to Tehran, according to multiple military and US officials.
The strike group's deployment from the Adriatic Sea to the Strait of Hormuz is aimed specifically at deterring any Iranian military actions, a senior military official added. The Strait, a 21-mile wide waterway that separates Iran from other Gulf countries, is the conduit for shipments of about 30 percent of the world's crude oil, making it a strategically crucial passageway for the global economy. (More on this later.)And Israel foolishly bragged openly that this was based on intel provided by the Mossad...
Report: Mossad intel of looming Iranian attack led US to send in carrier forceEven before the attack that reportedly occurred yesterday on the Saudi tankers, antisemitic elements on the internet were already spreading the story that Israel and the U.S. were preparing a false-flag attack to provide the basis for the West's war with Iran. All the way back in 2012, the UK's Jeremy Corbyn was claiming that Israel would perpetrate a false flag action in order to provide a pretext for an attack on Iran. The only difference now is that it is being made to appear as though Israel is setting up a scenario by which the U.S. will fight the war for her, which is mega times more dangerous for Jews worldwide. But any way you look at it, Jews are going to be blamed for the terrible blow-back that will ultimately result.
Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency reportedly tipped off the United States on an impending Iranian attack on American interests in the Gulf, prompting Washington to deploy an aircraft carrier strike group to the region late Sunday, in a sharp escalation of US President Donald Trump’s pressure campaign.
John Bolton, Trump’s national security adviser who advocated attacking Iran before taking up the post, announced late Sunday that the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group would sail to unspecified waters in the vicinity of Iran.
The deployment is aimed at sending “a clear and unmistakable message to the Iranian regime that any attack on United States interests or on those of our allies will be met with unrelenting force,” Bolton said.
...According to Israel’s Channel 13, Israeli officials conveyed information gathered largely by the Mossad on an Iranian plan to attack either a US or US-allied target, details of which were not provided to the network.
The threat was initially raised two weeks ago in the White House, officials told Channel 13, when an Israeli delegation led by National Security Council head Meir Ben-Shabbat huddled with their American counterparts.
“It is still unclear to us what the Iranians are trying to do and how they are planning to do it, but it is clear to us that the Iranian temperature is on the rise as a result of the growing US pressure campaign against them, and they are considering retaliating against US interests in the Gulf,” an official was quoted as saying.
...what prompted many to speculate that the attack, or "sabotage" may have been a false flag provocation to escalate a regional conflict, the incident came as the U.S. has warned ships that "Iran or its proxies" could be targeting maritime traffic in the region, and as America deployed an aircraft carrier and B-52 bombers to the Persian Gulf to counter alleged threats from Tehran, while Tehran has called the U.S. military presence “a target” rather than a threat.(See the comments there.)
The reported sabotage incident also comes after the U.S. Maritime Administration warned Thursday that Iran could target commercial sea traffic.
"Since early May, there is an increased possibility that Iran and/or its regional proxies could take action against U.S. and partner interests, including oil production infrastructure, after recently threatening to close the Strait of Hormuz," the warning read. "Iran or its proxies could respond by targeting commercial vessels, including oil tankers, or U.S. military vessels in the Red Sea, Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, or the Persian Gulf."
So was Iran indeed "targeting commercial vessels", or was someone pretending to be Iran and targeting commercial vessels, and if so did the operation fail to achieve its goal, resulting in the prompt denial that anything happened, even though it was Iran who originally reported that seven tankers were involved in the explosions?
While there is no definitive answer, later on Sunday, a senior Iranian lawmaker and head of parliament’s national security committee, Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, said that reports of “explosions” near Fujairah port showed the “the security of the south of the Persian Gulf is like glass.” (Source)
Most people have assumed that such a confrontation would go nuclear and this is why "all the nations of the world will shout from terror, fall upon their faces in fear and undergo such horrible pains as strong as labor pains." Also, this has been described as the fulfillment of the word of the GR"A that the Third World War would only last for 12 mins. But, it would actually take ICBMs longer than 12 mins to reach the U.S.
On the other hand, how long would it take the stock market to collapse catastrophically??? At computer speed!

Pessimists are predicting a global crash in 2020. You can see whyIt won't stand a chance against the hurricane that would churn up in a shooting war between the U.S. and Iran. And if you think antisemitism is bad now...
