As a result of these two shiurim, I will never look at Shammai the same way again. I realized in the first video that Shammai was not opposing Hillel, but simply stating "the other side of the coin" as it were. I imagined then that a lot of the statements both made, when examined closely, are similar in that way, and I was very happy to hear the confirmation in this video. Now, I understand how the students on both sides were friends and even shidduchim were made from both, not "sides" — rather, sets of students.
