It all depends on our relationship with HKB"H. If we've done proper teshuvah and earned HKB"H's blessing, the 'king's' heart will be turned to do good by us. On the other hand, "...and if they don't repent? HKB"H will send a king like Haman." The name of the 'king' does not matter - Trump, Biden, Harris... "The heart of the king is in the hands of Hashem."
The Paro of Yosef Hatzadik's time had great respect for the Jews "and then arose a Paro who did not know Yosef." The commentaries say it is not clear whether this was a new Paro or the same Paro with a new attitude.

The idea that in "Gematria" the number could be one away and not have to be exact, is as The Holy Sh"la explained. We are commanded to count 7 complete weeks( 49) and then The Torah writes, "count 50". Which one is it?
We count 49. And all 49 components of the Sefira, become 50! For example, a song is made up of many many musical notes. No one says " I love those musical notes". They say "I love that song". The point is clear. The parts make up the greater entity.
The Midrash states clearly, that Hashem will send a cruel king like Haman, to force us to return to Him.
One problem. Haman was not a king.
The answer is...מלך "כ" המן
Haman acted and ruled as if he was a king.
Donald acts and rules as if he is a king.
Haman was very wealthy
Donald was very wealthy
Haman insists on everyone bowing down to him...especially the Jews
Donald insists on everyone bowing down to him...especially the Jews.
Donald Trump also shares many of the same qualities as פרעה.
I will leave that for another time.
IMHO Trump wins. And that will be a good thing. But not because he will save the Diaspora Jews by being good to them He will save the Jews by forcing them to do Teshuva and run back to Eretz Yisroel.
Hashem showed the generation of the Flood, that the world will in fact return to its natural state regardless of how unnatural they tried to make it....the world's natural state, is for all the Jews to be in their homeland.
The Geulah is unfolding before our eyes. Stay strong in Emunah of Hashem....and ONLY HASHEM

ReplyDeleteA very concise shuir by R' Kachlon in contrast to the many Rabbinical voices encouraging their communities to vote for whichever candidate resonates with their political ideology.
It is apparent that mans capacity for self delusion is limitless, unlike his insight and critical thinking skills. Unfortunately it is those devoid of critical thinking and reasoning ability that perpetuate the illusion of democracy. They are the pillars that prop up this spiritually deficient and morally bankrupt circus. I accept no mandate or the fiction of civic duty to participate in this fraudulent charade.
So let the Torah be the final arbiter on the matter of those who would declare their servitude and choose a master to rule over them, especially Jews who should know better about foreign task masters.
1 Samuel 8: 1-22.
4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah. 5 And they said unto him: 'Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways; now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.' 6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said: 'Give us a king to judge us.' And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. {P}
7 And the LORD said unto Samuel: 'Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee; for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected Me, that I should not be king over them.
The title of office is irrelevant, whether king, president, prime minister or governor. The question every Jew should consider before participating in a political (s)election is by doing so have they rejected Hashem as their King. Chas v'shalom.

POTENTIAL COMMENTERS NOTE! I am done letting comments go by without a name attached. Please follow the rules. Bloggers have been begging people for years about this. And my thanks to those who are good enough to comply without asking or reminding.
ReplyDeleteDonald Trump is not the evil king like Haman who motivates Jews to do teshuva. That rasha is the Supreme Leader of Iran, the head of the snake of terrorism, who has already motivated many Jews in Israel to do teshuva by funding Hamas and Hezbollah. Haman is right in that rasha's name--KHAMEINI. He has absolute power (like a real king and unlike an American president), control over incomparable wealth (due to oil), seeks to destroy the Jewish people, and lives in the land where Haman met his demise. If that were not enough, he was born a few months before the beginning of World War 2--he is the heir to Hitler (yomach shmo).
ReplyDeleteParas is not Edom.
DeleteEdom/Esav/Rome/U.S. is the nation that will partner with Yishmael to do battle against Israel/Jews. Not Paras.
"אחרית כראשית"
As it is stated in the Sefardic rendition of Kedusha for Shabbat Musaf...."I will redeem you at the end of days in a similar manner to how I redeemed you the very first time (Mitzrayim).
"ויקם מלך חדש"
The Medrash Tanchuma relates exactly what happened after Yoseph HaTzadik died and Pharoah "turned" on the Jews.
Pharoah, known to be Ramsees רעמסס , was one of the best foreign leaders for the Jews. He gave us a huge portion of land and did not tax us. After Yoseph died, the people, very resentful of the Jews/Israelite, demanded that Pharoah turn against us. He refused. He felt very indebted to us. His advisors rebelled and "threw him out of office".
After some time, he came back begging. He promised he will no longer be good to the Jews.
And thus.."And a new king arose".
This Medrashic explanation, easily reconcile the debate on the meaning of "New King". He was both a new king and an old king turned bad.
I have no idea how Hashem will redeem us. I just know he will.
Having stated that, I think Trump fits the above Medrashic narrative.
However, I would like to echo the owner of this blog....Jews! Do not put your faith in anyone other than Hashem.
Not Trump. Not Kamala. Not Netanyahu.
ONLY HASHEM...בכבודו ובעצמו
Oh, one last gematria.
