The Limits of "Independence"

24 Sivan 5786

All of our suffering, whether it is fear of leaving the Diaspora or fear of losing American support, it all comes down to one single element...

Lack of faith and trust in HaKadosh Baruch Hu!!!

This is a spiritual sickness that has plagued us for our entire existence.  Was it not at the root of the failure of the ten meraglim?  How will it ever end?

...If Israel cannot stop Iran without America, and if even when it tries to act it is restrained by America, then Israel is trapped. On the one hand, it is discovering that it has no one to rely on but itself. On the other hand, it is not behaving like a country that truly relies on itself.

TRUMP SAYS HE WARNED NETANYAHU: “You Might Soon Be Left Alone Against Iran”
Israel is not alone!  Israel has a patron and protector at the highest level - the Master of the entire universe!!  If only she would believe it and begin to act as if this were her true reality.

Israel must start behaving like a country that truly relies on HKB"H!!!  Only then will we see the victory we so desperately want and need.  Only then will we be able to fulfill the mission we were sent to this world to accomplish.

  2. "According to the sources Israel Hayom spoke with, Israel launched the strike after coordination and American consent, in effect consent from Trump himself. The lines that were drawn were for a powerful strike, but one limited to several hours. The targets were also agreed upon." (Source)

"In a reported conversation with the BBC, Trump denies that Netanyahu had defied him by ordering military action against #Iran in response to missile attacks on #Israel, saying: “If I tell him to do something, he does it.” (Source)

  3. For 19 years Israel almost functioned as an independent country. In 1948 leaders and residents of the new State, no matter how religious or secular, realized that post-Holocaust the nations of the world had completely abandoned us. For 19 years Israel was a lone, isolated country, divorced from the rest of the world including culturally. Just imagine a certain well-known Liverpool quartet was banned from appearing in Israel because they didn’t want the youth corrupted. The neighbouring Arab countries were planning Holocaust part 2, and the world was waiting for them to complete the job the Germans had started. In the meantime, concerned about its survival, Israel was meticulously planning an all-out multi-front strike, with no concern about numbers of enemy casualties; it was us or them. In 1967, with lots of hishtadlut (human effort) and Syata Dishmaya (Divine Assistance) Israel was successful. Well, everyone loves a winner, Israel suddenly became the darling of the world. Now Esau wants to be friends, stretching out his hand with its kiss-of-death. That was the end of Israeli independence, leading to the sad state of affairs we have today, militarily and culturally. The early Zionist leaders are turning in their graves. Eli B

  4. Recent news reflects a trend I’ve noticed ever since President Trump’s visit to China.

He seems convinced that he must secure a deal - and that it must be framed as a victory.

My question is this: Why would you suddenly view your partners and allies as the obstacle while treating the enemy that openly seeks to kill you and your daughter as the best option on the table?

Another simple question: Why would you assume Israel might not like such a deal? Maybe because you know we don’t buy the lies and deception of the Islamic Republic? Maybe because anything you sign with them won’t be worth the paper it’s written on? Maybe because real change can only be achieved when they are on the ground with your boot pressing on their neck?

I know China has insisted that the Strait of Hormuz be reopened quickly. I also know that the “benefits” you expect from them may appear greater than those offered by your allies. But if October 7 taught me anything, it is this: whatever your enemy tells his own people is exactly what he intends to do.

And in the case of the Islamic Republic, their intentions are crystal clear:

▪️ They will never give up their right to enrich uranium.
▪️ They will never give up their ballistic missile program.
▪️ They will never abandon their proxy armies.
▪️ They will never allow you to remove their enriched uranium.
▪️ They will use this crisis to consolidate full control over the Strait of Hormuz and impose fees on every ship that passes through it.
▪️ They will continue to persecute, torture, and execute their own citizens who oppose their maniacal ideology.

They may agree to sign a framework for future negotiations, but they will drag those negotiations out indefinitely until you are exhausted and ultimately allow them to keep exactly what they wanted from the beginning.

You said it yourself in 2020, Mr. President: “Iran never won a war, but never lost a negotiation.”

You chose to stop the war and move the contest into the one arena where they are masters.

And boy, are they wrapping you around their finger.

Israel will do what it has to do - and will survive with or without America.

We are a very small nation, but we will never allow any regime or its proxy armies to plot and carry out our annihilation.

And while you go to bed - or simply fall asleep wherever you are - remember what the Word of God says:

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills -
    From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
    Who made heaven and earth.

    He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.

    Behold, He who keeps Israel
    Shall neither slumber nor sleep.”

    (Psalm 121:1-4)

  5. In reference to the comment above:

You seem to believe everything that you see and hear. Trump and Netanyahu are not stupid enough to start fighting in public now. It's all a show. C'mon.

  7. Think about in the end we need to stand alone, be surrounded and have no one to rely on so that Am Yisroel wakes up and looks to Hashem and it has to be obvious that only Hashems intervention saves us. So doesn't it make sense that Trump turns on us? Even if you think he is the nicest most trustworthy, loyal mensch in the world...which I most emphatically do not believe whatsoever (I think he's our worst enemy, smiling and pretending like Esav with really the intent to manage and control Israel even if it leads to tragic results) still it doesn't fit the framework of what we've been told must happen

  8. Yes, I believe he is Gog now. And the 'help' he did seemingly do in this last war, is probably the reason he is buried here in EY. The lefties will fight for it.
