THE FAITHFUL FEW

2 Sivan 5779
Day 46 of the Omer

It was (and still is) a long, hard spiritual climb from Mitzrayim to Har Sinai.  Even among those who made it, there were those who regretted their choice to come along.  Most especially the Erev Rav.  Their souls still cling to to Egypt rather than to HKB"H.  And they have brought Egypt here - to Eretz Yisrael.

But it won't stand.  It is the Creator's will that Am Yisrael live in Eretz Yisrael according to the Laws of Torat Yisrael.  And so it shall be - for the faithful few who remain along with Mashiach Tzidkeinu.
The Jews have never been ruled by Jewish law
Opinion: Other than creating headlines for far-right MK Bezalel Smotrich, talk of Halacha a system of laws is unrealistic and undesired for most Israelis, for a Jewish and democratic state must aspire to values of equality and civil rights
by Chen Sror Artzi

I will reveal a secret: most religious Israelis do not want the Halacha (Jewish religious law) as the law of the land.

This does not make them any less religious and or any less Jewish; they just know that is not a viable option.

...The State of Israel, or what the religious right would call the "start of our redemption", is a rare opportunity - one our forefathers could only dream of - to create a sovereign Jewish state.

With the opportunity comes a responsibility to maintain a society respectful of all its components under the twin banners of Judaism and democracy.

Extreme rhetoric eats away at the faith most of us share and causes us to doubt ourselves and our belief that coexistence is possible in a society where courts are not seen as enemies and the Halacha is not seen as a curse.

Ours should be a society with humanistic values and civil rights that promotes gender equality and an acceptance of others. All the elements of a Jewish democratic system of justice.
This is, of course, what we have now and it is a miserable failure.  What most people seem to misunderstand is that the decision to abide by Torah Law was already made and ratifed by a covenant with the Master of the World 3300+ years ago at Har Sinai; an occasion we will be commemorating in four days' time.

It only remains for us to renew our commitment to it.
"...And you will return and listen to the voice of the Lord, and fulfill all His commandments, which I command you this day. ...For the Lord will once again rejoice over you for good, as He rejoiced over your forefathers, when you obey the Lord, your God, to observe His commandments and His statutes written in this Torah scroll, [and] when you return to the Lord, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul." U.S. PRIDE MUST BE EVERYONE'S PRIDE

1 Sivan 5779
Rosh Chodesh
Day 45 of the Omer

There is ZERO TOLERANCE for dissent.

So-called "Gay" Pride started in the United States and spread throughout the world, except in places where it is banned by law.
The countries around the world where homosexuality is still illegal
The United States government openly and officially sanctions homosexuality and condemns any country which does not follow its lead.
Trump administration launches global effort to end criminalization of homosexuality

BERLIN — The Trump administration is launching a global campaign to end the criminalization of homosexuality in dozens of nations where it's still illegal to be gay, U.S. officials tell NBC News, a bid aimed in part at denouncing Iran over its human rights record.

U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell, the highest-profile openly gay person in the Trump administration, is leading the effort, which kicks off Tuesday evening in Berlin. The U.S. embassy is flying in LGBT activists from across Europe for a strategy dinner to plan to push for decriminalization in places that still outlaw homosexuality — mostly concentrated in the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean.

“It is concerning that, in the 21st century, some 70 countries continue to have laws that criminalize LGBTI status or conduct,” said a U.S. official involved in organizing the event.
The American Cultural Center located on Keren HaYesod Street in the heart of Anglo-Jewish Jerusalem is celebrating Pride Month with flags and rainbow lights.  I guess they are very proud of themselves and all that they have done to push this abomination on others.

DEMONSTRATION ANNOUNCEMENT

Anyone wishing to demonstrate in opposition to the Pride Parade in Jerusalem this Thursday is invited to meet Rabbi Richter at the Begin Center at 4:00 pm. Bring a sign. English is preferred due to international media attention, but Hebrew + English is even better.

Running Scared - Who Is Afraid of Torah Law?

29 Iyyar 5779
Erev Rosh Chodesh Sivan - Yom Kippur Katan
Day 44 of the Omer

It is no coincidence that this subject arises in a public discussion just days before Shavuot - the Celebration of Receiving the Torah.
Smotrich says he wants to be justice minister so Israel can follow Torah law

The Israeli justice system should adhere to religious Jewish law, MK Bezalel Smotrich of the Union of Right-Wing Parties (URWP) has insisted, doubling down on his position despite drawing rebuke, and asserting that the country should aspire to run itself as “in the days of King David.”

“We want the justice portfolio because we want to restore the Torah justice system,” Smotrich said Sunday evening at Mercaz Harav Yeshiva in Jerusalem, hours after Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked was fired by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Smotrich is now demanding that he be her replacement as interim justice minister until the September 17 elections. In the past few months, before coalition talks failed, he had been insisting that Netanyahu hand him the justice portfolio, although the premier favors Likud lawmaker Yariv Levin for the job.

Smotrich doubled down on his position on Monday morning, telling Kan public radio that “the Jewish people is a special people that needs to live according to the Torah.”

He said his intention was a gradual, long-term one. “Nothing happens instantly and it doesn’t happen with coercion,” he said.

“When we talk about Torah laws there are many things. I think the Torah’s monetary laws are much better [than ours]. We need to grant the rabbinical courts a higher status.”

Asked whether he was calling for a “halacha state,” Smotrich retorted: “You throw a scary expression into the air. Torah laws are far superior to the ‘halacha state’ founded here by Aharon Barak.” He was referring to the controversial former Supreme Court chief who is most closely identified with Israeli justice system’s “activist” streak, long a target of right-wing ire.

“Why is a ‘halacha state’ in which Aharon Barak sets the rules okay?” Smotrich said. “Of course in the long run I want the State of Israel to conduct itself according to Torah laws. That will happen when the nation wants it, and I am confident that it will want it when it sees how Torah law is just and humane.”

He said Israel should “go back to conducting itself the way it did in the days of King David, while adjusting that for life in 2019.”

Opposition politicians lambasted Smotrich over the remarks.

[Yair Lapid:] "...There won’t be a state here ruled by halacha,”....

[Shelly Yachimovich:] "... a huge danger to human liberty and the age of enlightenment,”....

[Tamar Zandberg:] "...the “mask has been removed” from Smotrich’s “insane vision,” which she likened to “a theocracy in the vein of [TV series] The Handmaid’s Tale.”

As with any form of law, who is most afraid of its being enacted?  Why, the law-breakers, of course!

The comments and remarks exhibit the most astounding ignorance ever!!

And the Birur Continues...

25 Iyyar 5779
Day 40 of the Omer

I've seen two or three minor headlines in the last 24-hrs stating that this or that group "does NOT want a state of halacha."  This is the result of the election debacle being cast as a secular vs. religious battle over the State's character.

ANYone, kippah-wearer or not, bearded or not, who will stand up and say he does not desire to live in this country in accordance with Divine Law, should realize that he is essentially saying he does not want to see Mashiach - ever.  Furthermore, he might as well admit, too, that when Shavuot arrives, he has nothing whatsoever to celebrate.

Let's be completely honest.  Whoever feels this way has no place and no future in Eretz Yisrael.

New Elections = Yeshuat Hashem

25 Iyyar 5779
Day 40 of the Omer

If you will recall, Israel went to elections in April in order to pave the way for the roll-out of the Trump/Kushner "peace" plan.  The idea was that reinstalling Bibi Netanyahu as PM would mean a mandate from the people to implement it in full.  But, no one foresaw what was coming.

Something historic and unprecedented happened.  The new Knesset has dissolved itself and called for another election on the heels of the last one.  Word is that the "Deal of the Century" will be revealed as planned - this summer.  (We're not yet into Sivan, but Tamuz and Av are right around the corner.)  If true, that means all the details will be known by the next election -September 17, 2019, or which is also the 17th (17=Tov in gematria) of Elul during the 40 days of repentance, just 13 days before Rosh Hashanah 5780!

A commenter brought up another interesting angle.  We expected Mashiach ben Yosef to arrive before the elections, but that did not pan out.  Maybe this do-over is meant to correct that, too.

Whatever the case, "that which is wondrous in our eyes is from Hashem."

Ultimately, this is proof that HKB"H's eye never leaves this land and His protective hand is ever hovering over His people.  Not only does He save us from our enemies, He saves us from ourselves!

...Netanyahu lamented the time wasted on another superfluous election campaign when vital national business was at hand. The first session of a US-Russian-Israeli committee was due to take place very soon in Jerusalem for a unique discussion on regional and Israeli security, he revealed. He promised more information on this development in the coming days. The White House announced shortly after this disclosure that the US. Russian and Israeli national security advisers would hold a joint meeting next month in Jerusalem. (Source)

13 STRAIGHT DAYS!!

24 Iyyar 5779
Day 39 of the Omer

Such a thing has never occurred before in recorded US history.

Over the past 20 years or so, it has been possible to see correlations between weather disasters in the US which drove people from their homes and US-backed "peace" efforts in the ME which drove Jews from their homes in Eretz Yisrael.  Hurricane Katrina was the best example of this as that weather system correlated in every single detail of what was happening in Gush Katif, right down to the dead being uprooted from their graves.

Witnessing what is happening on the ground there now, one can only imagine what must be planned for us if the "Deal of the Century" is ever implemented.

Jewish homes are still being demolished on a piecemeal basis at the current time as can be witnessed in this photo.  Even in the midst of trying to form a so-called "right-wing" coalition, the government is still destroying Jewish homes.  They dare not disobey their American rulers.

Then, again, maybe it is related to all the refugees created by American efforts to "spread democracy" through "regime change."  How many homes has the US bombed in Iraq and Afghanistan?  And here is a thought.  How many of them belonged to hidden Israelites?

Whatever the connection, we know HKB"H operates midah k'neged midah.  What we've seen over the past 13 days is not going to let up until the world understands that America is not the world's "only superpower," nor is it the world's "policeman."

HKB"H IS!!

The Annual Attack on Kedushah and Taharah is Once Again Upon Us

23 Iyyar 5779
Day 38 of the Omer

Jerusalem - Thursday, June 6, 2019
Tel Aviv - Friday, June 14, 2019
This Friday [May 31st] will mark the beginning of pride month in Israel with a parade in the central city of Kfar Saba. Some 50 other pride parades will be held throughout the country in the coming weeks, most of them at colleges and universities.

The largest expected event is the annual Tel Aviv Pride Parade, which the city is predicting will attract hundreds of thousands of participants from around the country and the globe. The rally, typically viewed as a celebratory party, is expected to take on a protest-like vibe with organizers seeking to raise awareness of the discrimination suffered by the LGBT community, whose members face extensive hurdles in legally marrying and starting families in Israel.  (Source)

Crop Catastrophe In The Midwest – Latest USDA Crop Progress Report Indicates That A Nightmare Scenario Is Upon Us

The last 12 months have been the wettest in all of U.S. history, and this has created absolutely horrific conditions for U.S. farmers. Thanks to endless rain and historic flooding that has stretched on for months, many farmers have not been able to plant crops at all, and a lot of the crops that have actually been planted are deeply struggling. What this means is that U.S. agricultural production is going to be way, way down this year. The numbers that I am about to share with you are deeply alarming, and they should serve as a wake up call for all of us. The food that each one of us eats every day is produced by our farmers, and right now our farmers are truly facing a nightmare scenario.

(Read it in its entirety here.)

...And it isn’t just in the United States where we are seeing widespread crop failures. I would encourage you to check out my previous article entitled “Floods And Drought Devastate Crops All Over The Planet – Could A Global Food Crisis Be Coming?” In that article I discussed the fact that Australia will actually be importing lots of wheat this year, but normally it is one of the largest exporters of wheat in the entire world. As crops fail all over the globe, there will be a scramble for food, and the wealthy western nations have more money than anyone else.

...We have never seen so many massive threats hit the global food supply simultaneously, and if this article deeply alarms you that is a good thing.

A perfect storm is rapidly developing, and many expect global events to start accelerating dramatically.

PSALM 145
15  Everyone's eyes look to You with hope, and You give them their food in its time.
16  You open Your hand and satisfy every living thing [with] its desire.
17  The Lord is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds.
18  The Lord is near to all who call Him, to all who call Him with sincerity.
19  He does the will of those who fear Him, and He hears their cry and saves them.
20  The Lord guards all who love Him, and He destroys all the wicked.
The deserts are now blooming in other areas of the Middle East. Will it one day become the new breadbasket of the world?
