Sorry to say, this smells a lot like the scamdemic, restricting religious practice in the name of safety. The fact that 9 people were killed in a direct hit on a bomb shelter proves they don't offer any protection. What does offer protection? Doing a Mitzvah! Reading the megillah without any interuption is the way it is supposed to be. I just came from a Sephardi minyan. They announced that they wouldn't break in the megillah if there was an alert because it is Assur to do so. Sadly, many others in the Litvak world continue to play into the hands of the evils.
