Will the Sinat Chinam Ever End?

8 Marcheshvan 5786

How will it ever end?  Only when the Chareidi dead and wounded outnumber the Zionist dead and wounded?

"... we’re calling on the Zionist public to join us, to stand with us and say: enough.”

[Yoav] Adomi, one of the leaders of “The Israeli Reservists - Generation of Victory,” will stand on Thursday opposite ultra-Orthodox demonstrators gathering at Jerusalem’s entrance for the “Million Man Rally” against the draft. Joining him will be other IDF reservists, wounded soldiers, and bereaved families as part of a “Show of Strength for Israel’s Security.”

We can’t allow this situation to continue,” Adomi continued, “where the ultra-Orthodox community refuses to share the duty of defending the state. This is a security, economic, and social threat. Those who serve can’t keep carrying those who don’t. If we don’t act now, Israel will collapse. The reservists saved Israel on October 7, and they’ll save it again from this disastrous law.”

...Noa Mivorach from Lod, whose husband Tomer serves as a battalion doctor in the Carmeli Brigade, will also join the protest. Tomer, an ordained rabbi who studied for years in yeshiva, has already served 330 days in reserves and is heading out for a sixth tour on Sunday.

“We’re religious,” she said. “We show that it’s possible to be observant and serve. Our participation in this war is a commandment straight from the Torah. When Abraham learns that his relative Lot was captured, he doesn’t sit and study — he gathers fighters and rescues him. That’s our reality, and that’s the real commandment today.”

Mivorach said her message to the ultra-Orthodox protesters is one of empathy, not hostility. “They need to understand that our call for them to take part in this fight isn’t born of hate, but of belonging — they’re our brothers. I’ll stand there and ask them to look me in the eyes, to see me. On Sunday, my heart will again be full of fear, my sleep will be lost, and my kids will again face the long absences of their father. Look at me and understand — this call for partnership is because we have no other choice.”

Also attending will be Sgt. First Class (res.) Yair Weigler of Moshav Bar Giora, founder of the “Religious-Zionist Reservists Forum.” He has served roughly 300 reserve days with the 188th Brigade during the war, while his partner Shira, gave birth to their daughter, Yahel, between deployments.

“Let the ultra-Orthodox and the politicians look me in the eyes after these two years,” he said. “Let them see the pain and anger I carry. Forces are already stretched thin in the West Bank, and some brigades are on their sixth rotation. This isn’t about equality — it’s about survival. We need the draft for security.”

Weigler said the forum was founded to give a voice to the religious-Zionist and right-wing base calling for a fair conscription law.  (Source)
Will the Zionist patriots ever begin to question the evil regime's mishandling of the security before the war and the long, drawn-out prosecution of this war in general, i.e. the failure to fight to win?
▪️IN THE COMPETENCY OR LACK THEREOF DEPARTMENT - Documentation: On the morning of October 7, while Hamas murderers were slaughtering, raping, and killing women, and children – the Shin Bet staff were focusing specifically on intelligence information about "intentions for revenge" and warning against Jewish terrorism throughout the country.  (Israel Realtime)
This looking to the brother with loathing and jealousy because he is not suffering as you are (according to you) is not the solution to your suffering.  Wake up and understand how the evil forces in control of our Land are using you up and throwing you away and you are cooperating in your own misery instead of looking for a solution!!!

If, God forbid, it suits the purposes of the evil regime to keep this war going for two more years, will you continue to complain that not enough people are suffering alongside you or will you ever wake up to making the suffering stop?

The answer is not to force yeshivah students out to the killing fields, it's to obey the Torah you claim is also yours...
(Bamidbar 33.52-56)  ...you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their temples, destroy their molten idols, and demolish their high places.

You shall clear out the Land and settle in it, for I have given you the Land to occupy it.

...But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the Land from before you, then those whom you leave over will be as spikes in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they will harass you in the land in which you settle.

And it will be that what I had intended to do to them, I will do to you.

Let's end the need for war for everyone.
Request of Hashem and follow a leader who will destroy the enemy once and for all time!!!

  1. Part of the problem shared by most in the DL community is that it's all about feelings. Somehow, they believe they are Torah-observant but when Torah runs up against "feelings" then the feelings win the day. This is partly why so many of their youth go OTD - because Torah observance is about how you feel, not what you must do regardless.
So here we see the triumph of their warm fuzzy feelings for the medinah over the realities not just staring them in the face but slapping them in the face, repeatedly, and somehow the slaps endear them even more to the abuser, the state which sends the to their deaths.
They have become a community that glorifies martyrdom, "sacrificing for the country," and one might think that they would be happy to embrace this role and "pity the poor chareidim" who don't welcome the privilege of dying for this idolatry - but there's a problem.
They still cannot swallow the fact that the chareidim, a million strong or thereabouts, reject their vision of Torah life. It's a battle of "who's the real Jew" and naturally, when emotions not only fuel but direct their side of the debate, there really is no way to get through to them.

    2. The reason the DL are like this is due to their programming. It is very deep and starts in the womb throughout toddlerhood and into later years. They virtually are programmed to create soldiers for the Medinah. And so they obey.

    3. Shira, I think you'll find that in Hashem's eyes both Haredim and DL are equally Jewish. Rav Anava spoke about this specifically. In shamayim, the only division there is is whether a Jew is shomer shabbat or not. One is not more of a real Jew than another.
Regardless of how it seems to us, Hashem decides the day of someone's passing. There have been at least two stories of soldiers who survived the fighting only to die in 'random' accidents in civilian life, shortly thereafter.

  4. First, very on spot comments, Eden.
Between the lefties and the DL, they do not want to even
understand that the Jewish way, according to Torah, is
that both the Torah (#1) and the military are necessary for
    'true' victory!
The ones leading the false narrative & programming of the
youth and soldiers are the ones responsible for the continuous
wars. They make sure there is 'no' victory but bloodshed
continues, r'l. Everything that is against Torah Law and
    values is their credo.
Ultimately, we pray the naive will wake up from their
foolish 'feelings' and realize that only the Torah way
    brings victory, truth and peace.
