US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will arrive in Israel tomorrow for a two-day visit, a US official tells The Times of Israel.The trip will be officially announced later today, and will focus on supporting the successful implementation of Washington’s ceasefire plan in Gaza, according to the official.It follows the visits of US Vice President JD Vance and US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to the country this week. This will be Rubio’s fourth visit to Israel since taking office in January.

DeleteDoes Israel *deserve* the Land? To live in peace? To be healthy and abundant with all that is good? If everything is Midah KeNeged Midah, how is what is transpiring not a direct reflection of ourselves, how much we actually cherish the Land, treating it as holy (which it is), how we have caved to cowardness when it comes to being the powerful nation of Hashem, allowing this travesty to go on for so long without coming clean and just screaming it - ENOUGH! How do we stand by idly and not protest non-kosher food sold here, the improprieties all around on the streets, in our visual fields, how do we not protest the loss of our rights to clean air, food and access to natural medicine as it was intended? And on and on - everything is showing us ourselves. Israel is a mirror of the Jewish people - how it is now is in direct proportion to the nation. If we don't create the good, what else can show up? In the end, everything that is being shown to us, is essentially due to our lack. Nothing more.

ReplyDeletePS I learned recently that all along the Rail Routes they are allowed to build those 130 and 160 high Towers! This reminds me of the “Tower” of Babel scenario.
It's always, Always about "peace and prosperity" they bring, whether it be Iraq, Afghanistan, Ukraine and now greater Israel. What they do bring is a much worse situation later. In the past Trump was insistent on "no more nation building", but he is pursuing the most volatile nation building of any administration in history.
