I heard from a reliable source (more than one actually) regarding one of the first soldiers to fall that his family and friends were agonizing over the fact that he was about to get married, like in the next week, and how much more tragic this made it, and then it was revealed that he was to marry another man.
DeleteWe can't look at every fallen person and try to imagine what horrible thing he did to deserve this, some it could just be their appointed time - if not this then something else - but whatever we do, we do NOT question HKB"H's justice. That's why when we hear of a death, we say Baruch Dayan Emet. These are not just words to mouth, but truth to be absorbed and internalized, both in our minds and in our hearts.
All we can do in response is to double down on our own Torah and mitzvah observance and help others to so the same.

Of course we don't look at the fallen and try to imagine what sin he committed. And of course we say Baruch Dayan HaEmet with tears for them. My point in the comment has nothing to do with condemnation of any soldier. The message is that Hashem wants to protect completely the Jewish soldiers on the time of the battle against the enemy. His angels walk in our camp and they cannot stand tumah and this type of tumah particularly. Hashem commanded to distance from any evil thing , in our encampment as is written in the perashah.... because all our soldiers need the Divine protection special in times of war. But the medinah who brings proud perverts and missionaries and women in combat units in Gaza , THEY have to be blamed for the fallen because they bring intentionally the evil in the camp for dirty policies . They don't care about Hashem's blessings, they don't care for the soldiers. Only to play well in their liberal demoncratic civilized theater show.

ReplyDeleteIf you mean the Chicago Consulate shouldn't have posted them, I would agree. If you mean I should not have posted them, once they have already been shared around the world, shouldn't we Israeli Jews know so we can fully understand the next thing that is waiting to happen? When we have earned a punishment and HKB"H metes it out, should anyone have any reason to doubt His justice? Just because we might ignore the facts, HKB"H does not.
