Some advocate fighting 'fire' with 'fire,' but Rav Yehuda Richter is sanctifying the Name of G-d by fighting 'fire' with the 'water' of Torah.

Rav Yehuda Richter Shiur at Yeshivat Od Yosef Chai in Yitzhar

This week Rav Yehuda Richter's weekly shiur took place inside Yeshivat Od Yosef Chai that was seized by police and transformed into a police station. The shiur began outside the yeshiva but police came to chase the participants and even shoved several of the participants including Rav Richter while attempting to remove them from the area. In the end the commander said we could hold the shiur outside. A few minutes later an officer came and said that we had permission to enter the yeshiva. Unfortunately we were not allowed to film inside the yeshiva and we nearly left when police said we also couldn't tape the shiur, but in the end they allowed us to tape Rav Richter.
