No, it already came.
'In the next generation, US Jews will disappear'
..."It's important to understand that the current generation is facing a revolution," .... "There are in the US today about six million Jews, 90% of whom are non-Orthodox. At the current rate of intermarriage, most of the non-Orthodox people who will define themselves as Jews are children born into mixed marriages.
"In the future, the absolute majority will not be defined as Jews according to the rules of Orthodox Jewish Halacha.
:(
ReplyDeleteSad this is happening, where as I am Noahide seeking to convert.
All is upside down.
We must all daven more. May Hashem have mercy.
Some may not like what I have to say at all , since what I will say can be checked mathematically it will not be a problem to check out the validity of my point . Since being Jewish is determined solely by who was your mother and has zero correlation to fathers therefor it is mathematically impossible what you claim is going to happen , or already happening intermarriage will not wipe out that is from a numerical viewpoint, it's quite a parodox to those who say orthodox Judaism is male chauvinistic but that's another subject , but spiritually no doubt intermarriage is the most terrible hollocaust on record .
ReplyDeleteThe father dictates the tribe. You'd have a tribeless generation of Jews. Kohen, anyone?
ReplyDeleteWhat does being Jewish mean to your average assimilated intermarried Jew?
ReplyDeleteAccording to The Pew Research Religion and Public life report "A Portrait of Jewish Americans 2013"
http://www.pewforum.org/2013/10/01/chapter-3-jewish-identity/
the following are important to Jews:
% ___ saying is an essential part of what being Jewish means to them
Remembering the Holocaust 73%
Leading an ethical and moral life 69%
Being intellectually curious 49%
Having good sense of humour 42%
Eating traditional Jewish Foods 14%
If you don't have a Jewish community and you only go to shul once in your life what does being Jewish mean? Are you a Jew in name only? Will you have children and how will you raise them? Will they know what being Jewish is? will their children know? Will your children give their children a Brit Milah (circumcision), a Jewish Education?
Will they care if they marry a Goy, a Gay, not marry?
I can't help wondering if this is what happened in Egypt. I wonder - if the big test for the Jews leaving Egypt was to take the Egyptian sheep god and slaughter it before their eyes, what if the Jews of present-day Egypt had a similar test? What would it be? How many could pass it and escape the plague of darkness?
ReplyDeleteThese are already the walking dead - the spiritually dead - but they insist on exporting that tuma to Eretz Yisrael.
What is left for Hashem to do if they refuse to do teshuva?
This may be their saving:
ReplyDeleteNir Ben Artzi:
"Anti-Semitism will grow so strong that they will expel the Jews and it will be televised – on all TVs."
Hashem Yitbarach via his prophet Yechezkel:
ReplyDelete"I shall take you out of the peoples, and I shall gather you from the lands in which you were scattered, with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm and with poured out fury.
And I shall bring you to the wilderness of the peoples, and I shall contend with you there face to face.
As I contended with your forefathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I contend with you, says the Lord God.
And I shall cause you to pass under the rod, and I shall bring you into the transmission of the covenant.
And I shall separate from you those who rebel and those who transgress against Me; from the land of their sojournings I shall take them, but to the land of Israel they shall not come, and you will know that I am the Lord.
