If Hevron, the city where our patriarchs and matriarchs are buried and where King David first began to rule, is not part of the Land of Israel, then Dan Meridor is not part of the People of Israel. And no one who says such a thing is fit to hold public office!!

Meridor: Hevron is Not Part of the State of Israel

Deputy Prime Minister Dan Meridor was interviewed, Friday, by Kol Yisrael government radio about the possibility of the Levy Committee report on Judea and Samaria being brought to the cabinet for approval. The report says Israel is not an occupier in the region and supports government authorization of currently unauthorized Jewish communities there. Meridor said he knew nothing about any attempt to put the matter on the cabinet agenda. He added, "Ramallah and Hevron are not part of the state of Israel and I do not think Prime Minister Netanyahu is going to change that situation."
